Just bought a 2022 KIA Niro Hybrid in June. really love it especially with the 50+mpg i get. It’s my 6th Kia vehicle i’ve had. The Ev 6 is gorgeous but right now out of my price range with it’s $56,000-$78,000 price range. I’m wondering how these EV’s and Hybrids will be in wintery weather conditions since i haven’t had the opportunity yet to drive my hybrid in snow and ice,or extreme cold.

Such a beautiful car, i currently own a 2019 Ceed GT, which is premium and a beast to drive. I've looked at this car, being double the price of my current car, there is no chance i'll ever manage to afford one. Maybe some rich TH-camr might read this and help me one day 🤣

Kia seems to go the right way. Looks like a Aston dbx from behind. Lot's of electric cars in my country. This Kia must be fast enaugh, top speed 250km pr hour.

The EV6 GT looks great, but for the price automatic front seats and the fact that majority of interior has plastic paneling seems like a devaluation, I am assuming the heating and air elements provided for front seats was also removed. I certainly hope KIA resolved the water channeling problem with the rear hatchback going into the interior of hatch because this is not implemented with any waterproofing elements to avoid electrical shorts if leaks occur. I see some shortsightedness in this design, which means no additional improvements on the interior have been made in comparison to the 2022 EV6. I understand that the EV6 GT was delayed, but I expected more improvements for the price, not less. For GT I would’ve liked to see some carbon fiber paneling on the interior which would give it more of a sporty look. Besides the engine/battery extension and lack of automatic seats for DRIVER, I do not see this as an IDEAL BARGAIN PRICE for what you get. KIA, just some American advice, IF YOU DECIDE TO GO GT, then there must be more comfort, convenience, with a more sporty interior then just giving racing seats. Perhaps utilize floating/racing seats that allow for more flexibility and comfort for the driver. Perhaps look at the NEW FORD MUSTANG GT and NEW CORVETTE INTERIOR DESIGN and make comparisons and you will see what AMERICANS really want in a GT!! Why not make a SEDAN GT version of this vehicle with a wider body and extended hatchback with more luxuries that equal the Audi A6, with a bigger frunk and more AC charging points especially in the interior rear hatchback. I would also highly recommend FOG lights, many American sports vehicles in USA provide FOG light bulbs on the front in the MUSTANG. If your going GT, then provide Michelin All-Terrain tires because with more power requires even TOP OF THE LINE sport tires. I also recommend placing an additional rear camera on the wing of the hatchback along with providing a rear license plate that provides rear object sensor detection considering that object detection sensors sometimes do not manage to function properly when dirt/snow accumulate on the rear/front bumpers. I would also like to see a panoramic sunroof with a solar panel cover option with a 5G antenna integrated into the solar panel itself, thus eliminating the antenna shark. I hope you make improvements with the REGEN braking system because WIND edition REGEN braking sucks ass. ALSO, if providing sport SEATS, then apply a 4-point buckling system for the front seats. I expect in next EV6 GT to provide an automated rear spoiler that activates AUTOMATICALLY after going over 65-75MPH. This model must have a better, more catchy memorable name, like the Neptune GT or Jupiter GT, or perhaps one of the Jupiter moons like Europa or IO, for example. BUILDING KIA’s in the USA, especially the EV6 GT would be ideal to obtain government rebate…make it happen so these models are less expensive and easily available to Americans/Canadians, centralizing your manufacturing would make it tough for even American automakers to compete guaranteed! NOT A BIGGER BATTERY is required, what is needed MOST is an enhanced POLYCRYSTALLINE SOLAR PANEL that can charge 60-90% more efficiently than any other solar panel ever made in history. In additions, more enhanced technology in the REGEN breaking is definitely needed to make the range more applicable for the average American automobile in the same market. Thus NEW INNOVATIONS in solar panels, and an integrated 5G antenna specifically for these automobiles can help avoid any issues of having to charge this car every week or increasing battery capacity/weight to vehicle.
You’re asking for a whole lot on a channel that doesn’t necessarily get Kia’s attention. Pretty good points overall but this needs to be forwarded somewhere where they can see.

It honestly sucks that the US spec cars are toned down versions of the Korean specs. Those sequential turn signals look so good, and it sucks we don’t get them.

this car is targeting the very rich ground level estate owners who can park it in there large drive way garage while not worrying about heating or eating energy bills so yes its an elite car and no one who stays in a block of flats that are top floor will be able to buy an ev car .

Its a very striking design but let down by the cheap plastics like sill panels, door cards and some switches. For over £64000 for the GT spec I would have expected a far more luxurious interior.

Lovely car. I will probably never be able to afford one. I just wish the alloy wheels on the passenger side pointed in the right direction. They face backwards compared to the wheels on the drivers side. It’s a little thing, but it does annoy me. Saying that, if I had one I wouldn’t be that bothered.
