Spectacular. My maiden name was Vrenna,,,the a in Varenna was lost at Elis Island, as the people processing the incoming immigrants were overwhelmed, and couldn't spell all that well, it was a difficult task. My people said this is what America gave us for a name,so be it. They did not want to change the spelling back to the original. Immigrants were so happy to be here,they did not want to "rock the boat". I found in latter years of my families origin,but sadly,to late. Now to change my name for one letter is a horrific undertaking. I guess I will die with the misnomer.😢
