Maru beats rogue 60% of the time now. Especially in finals. And Rogue [barely] beat him, by a Bee's dick, last ST. Maru shines with or without other players being left in a bracket. All on his own. 🙌🏽
yeah it's really different leagues. As tastosis said, zerg in korea is like dark and rogue and everyone else is shit comparatively. For terran it's maru then everyone else (this tourney, Bunny of course being a surprise).
I'm not any good at Starcraft 2 but I love the game, have probably watched 1000+ tournament games by now over the last 11 years. SC2 forever, this makes me want to play the campaigns through again.
I think that Armani is playing pretty well as he is forcing maru to fight for the victories and and so I find it a annoying the way the casters are critisising Armani for every move.
Maru was literally styling on armani, adding in hellbats and ravens into his pushes, which makes then micro much more difficult and theadvantage really minor. He was chellenging himself with that and mech gameplay because he knew he was already much better than the opponent, hence why the casters were talking about how armani could do better, because maru literally couldn't play any better
I actually think Armani played really bad, I usually don't criticize the players, but I really thought to myself, many why aren't they calling out Armani MORE. So definitely disagree with you on that one lol
Was that first Gg not premature? He had equal supply and a one base lead… I’m not saying Armani was the favourite to win but I really don’t think that justified a GG
Zerg is just really vulnerable is SC, units are weak, needs numbers but supply cap the same for all races. Zerg should start the game with 220 or 250 supply limit.
When was the last time that Maru lost in a late game with all his Ravens and Ghosts out? I think that in order to beat him you don't let him get into late game.
It is the cost efficiency which is winning his games. If he splits the map, he probably already won because he used less resources. I'd say Zerg just needs to be more cost efficient, but he recently dismantled Serral playing one of the most cost efficient Zerg styles and made it look easy, so I don't know.
