I've had mine when I was a kid, I'd say about 20 years ago, and I found it in my old stuff a year ago! Been wearing it everyday since :) simple looking watch, been working flawlessly for me, hell it only took about 3hrs of delay in about 15 years of storage 😂

    These watches are indestructible

I purchased the updated version for $28.50 as an interim watch.
Nice display and the only negative I see is when setting the hands, they only move forward. The 20 second move ahead is useful when it gets close to the time you want.
If you register the watch in the phone app, you will have access to the manual.

Great video, I just got one of these today!! great little watch. Sort of wish Casio would have put a second hand on it.

There is a mode on the LCD with seconds?

great casio watch. I have the 1AVDF version, silver color, steel strap. cheap & utilitarian for daily use. a sapphire or mineral glass mod would definitely make the aw80 a perfect timekeeper 👌

I have the brown variant of this watch, with Velcro strap. The strap is falling apart and I wanna replace it, do you know the lug size? Do you know if it's springbar or pins or is there any way to change the strap?

If you click on the link below, there is list of straps that you can buy for most of the Casio's out there.
      www.watchbattery.co.uk/Casio_Watch_Straps_A-Z.shtml
If you choose the starting letter of your Casio model number, in this instance A for the AW-80. Then you will need to scroll down to the correct model number, click on the link and all the information you need should be there, including the size of the pins used etc.
The design of the website is a bit old school but I have used them for a couple of watches I have bought from ebay with broken straps and they have been pretty good plus they have been genuine replacement Casio watch straps to boot!
By they way I am not sponsored by them, it was just a great little find when I was looking for replacement straps for my own Casio collection.
      Hope it helps!!
      Cheers,

Ha ha you are very welcome! As I said I am not sponsored by them but I have used them and the straps that I got were quality and arrived in a few days so I have no problem recommending them.
Good luck with sorting your watch out!

@@wetryanythingchannel thanks, my Casio Twincept ABX-20 still runs, it's just that one of the plastic lugs finally broke. I'm getting the AW80-1AV which is on sale in the US for $20.

    SHAME ON YOU CASIO.
Very Nice watch. But Casio should try harder because this watch is underdeveloped. Not only did they make the glass plastic =suceptible to scrutch but it is also convex =even more susceptible to scratches. The glass should be Mineral and Flat. And it will be Great.
If the glass is convex, there is no way to avoid scratching it. Any glass will scratch. The glass must be flat.
Almoust perfect. I need SECONDS HAND ! And you need it too. Trust me. We all need a Seconds hand.
