    Thank you very very much.. Merging the T04 files solved all my problems, cos I keep getting an extra default point appearing not far from my GNSS Base .. Cheers Robert

    Robert, about this segmenting. I think we started to notice this roughly 2 years ago. R10-2. We also have R12i now. Recently got burned by this segmenting issue. Currently have 2022 June (or so) firmware on everything. Usually R10-2 is a base since dont have a lot of 12. Anyhow ... does anyone know why this segmenting happens and if there is a fix to stop it? I am now investigating it. We use DJI L1 on M300, if the base does not log (a pause) then during that window of no base logging it is impossible to get lidar data. The lidar REQUIRES base data. When this hole in data happens with using P1 camera, it is not as bad as I can fall back on rtk values (which continue to happen when logging pauses). So this is serious issue for me. Segmenting seems to random happen, also not just when doing drone work. Other survey work as well. We log at 5 secs always, and 0.2 sec when doing drone missions. We do a LOT of static, and static during rtk. In Alaska.

      My understanding is it’s a known bug and there is a fix coming in the next firmware release. Apparently the receiver crashes and restarts is what causes it.

    Hi , can I measure 2 static points on one T02 file. Thanks

    • @SurveyingWithRobert
      @SurveyingWithRobert  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not exactly sure your question but one static file per point. A T02 per point. Does that help?

    I have same segment of static file issue. Has that ever been fixed? By way, for drone you most definitely should log at 0.2sec, not 1 sec. I ppk drones in TBC a lot. I just use survey app, no photogrammetry app.

      Drone manufacturers recommend 1 sec PPK. May depend on drone.

    Nice video Robert. Handy to know for Trimble Static Files. Ive done it with Rinex with Splicing/Merging using other software when needed. We got lucky and the software we use to Post Process our DJI M300 allows multiple Base Rinex files to be imported and merges it automatically - saved a heap of messing around on our end.

    MANNN this has been whooping my butt with Lidar PPK processing for the better part of a year. I've been having to work around the wonky file segmentation with flight planning until now... this is GREAT!

    Ive always just converted them to Rinex format and open then with notepad and edit them as needed.
    Most of the time its because i ended up going past 12am UTC time and i need to process then with opus so i will trim all the sv log entries that are after 12am UTC, otherwise id have to wait an extra day before i can process with opus.

    I'm thinking that the Access style you should be using in the field is RTK W/DATALOG instead of INFILL
