Quick question, what does pause buffering at 2:31 do? Does it have to do with subpixels because I didn’t think a TAS would need to pause if you defined an input for every frame
The tas is pausing as it stops the spinners from loading in, this is why they can just fast fall through all of the spinners. When spinners are off screen they are not loaded and cant be collided with. spinners are split up into 3 groups and every frame, the game checks each of these groups to see which spinners need to be loaded in. if you pause on a frame that the spinners are trying to load it, then they dont so doing this repeatedly allows them to fall past the spinners
also, just to clarify, this does actually require multiple frame-perfect pauses and so isn't RTA-viable but if you wait for the better part of a week in a single session, the timer used to manage spinner loading stops working and only one group is allowed to check whether it should be loaded from then on
tiny thing cant u make an improvement at 0:43 where instead of going up and around you can just downleft into the dream block directly? it worked for me in clear and i dont see how its slower seeing as youd otherwise hve to dash 3 times around a dream block then ultra
There is a falling block you activate with a reverse wavedash after going around. I dont see how id be possible without it. If there is a clip showing it could you send that?

@@psyGamer21 its not a falling block if u look closely it just disappears but if it like teleports there then i guess you have to use it
