That’s too expensive for a Ubisoft game. Their legit all copy and paste games just with slightly tweaked graphics. This is exactly the same as the last game and the one before that. Ubisoft isn’t a good dev and hasn’t been for over 10 years try a good dev like FromSoft
I’m pretty stoked about what I see. Idk how good the combat will be. Love having a tool wheel. The avian sidekick changes are great, the whole feel of the game seems good. I think the parkour improvements are more noticed during vertical climbing rather than horizontal. Seeing him grab each available brick or ledge is awesome. I think the only problem is it won’t be long enough 😉
This actually looks like it's gonna play like a reskined valhallah. The assassinations remind me of valhallah, as well as the HUD and movement. I'm not blown away, but its good they are trying to go back to the roots.
This is perfect for me. I know it not exactly like the OG games but there is enough of both old gameplay mix with new gameplay mechanics that I think this game will do great. I personally don't need nor want the game to play exactly like the OG games but want the focus to be primarily stealth. Using tools to plan your assassinations and escapes just like what was shown in the video. This to me creates a more intimate gameplay which makes you as a player think instead of just spamming attack buttons over and over to defeat an enemy. Also the parkour in this video shows me that the devs design the game for more parkour gameplay involvement giving the player more creativity in their playthrough. Also with the reduce or no rpg elements in the game, will make the game the "true" next Assassin's Creed installment for me personally (including Origins; it was a great game to me because of the story).
I know basin was one of the fastest assassin in history of the game so I was disappointed we have to teleport to each target, instead he should sprint to each marked target in the kill sequence to demonstrate his speed to kill instead of putting teleporting in between each kill to give the illusion of quickness
One of my favorite ideas from this game is cutting out damage sponging. It always completely took me out of games. Weapons should be dangerous and consequential. The parkour definitely not Unity style, but still look solid tho.
I liked most of it besides the teleport skill, just breaks the amazing immersion they've created up until that poıint. But, I can simply choose to ignore any high fantasy skills like that so I think it'll be great overall.
I think that skill is more like a fast stealth killing than teleporting (it just looks like he's teleporting, but it's a game, so they gotta find a way to make it look cool). I'm okay with some fictions as long as it doesn't become a God of War type of fiction like Vallhala cause that's not what AC is supposed to be
They should do a full animation cut scene like they did when he killed the main guy. I know it’s a lot of work to do that but I’m not feeling the whole magic poof poof thing.

FINALLLY the Assassins creed games with love!! I’ve honestly been saddened to see where the franchise was going however there seems to be hope. We finally get a classic assassins creed game based in a beautiful rich history and aesthetic! I can’t wait! Long coming!
Everything looks fantastic, brings me back. The only thing is the parkour seems stiff, where I had the most fun was doing parkour around the map chasing the enemy! Hopefully that fix it up a bit and it’s gonna be banger
Enemies don’t look spongy which was always a peeve. Hopefully we have the option like Ghost of Tsushima to engage like a samurai or go ghost. And the bow and arrow are one shot one kill too. Saw a few minor issues like the weapon appearing out of nowhere which is an easy fix but other than that looks amazing. Open world feels lived in and crowd stealth. Got the old AC vibes and new like origins and odyssey which I loved not so much Valhalla
No Bows, mate. Only throwing knives in this game. Long range bows completely change the game in my opinion because it affects mission design and limits how they can place enemies.
This MUST be a 15 year anniversary to the creation and release of this game title. I was there for it from the beginning. Die hard fan of the story's. If they use the stick of life gimmick to bring desmomd back for us after this feature title or a altair type revival that would be EVERYTHING!
I love how there still are some elements of upgrading and crafting like the previous rpg titles all while reverting back to og AC parkour and assassinations bro I'm too hyped for this
The Pakour needs some tweaking to be more fluid and the "Multi-Assassinations" needs more of like Animations and not just teleporting or blinks. Besides that i cant wait
This is sick man. Takes me back to the days of my boy Altair (The GOAT)…parkouring through the bustling streets of Jerusalem and Damascus in AC1. Except for the shadow assassination thing. Can’t wait!
I remember when I got Valhalla, I was so much more immersed in it because it didn't take 50 hits to kill someone my level, and after I played Odyssey after probably a month, I stuck with that decision; until last week, I accidentally formatted (or for those who don't know wiped everything off of) my hard drive. So it took about a week to get what I wanted back, and I DIDN'T get Valhalla because it's so boring, and the combat doesn't last long enough to be fun, Origins hit the sweet spot, where it takes more than 3 hits but less than 10, on enemies your level.
I would say its actually better than the older ones in almost every aspect from what we've seen so far. Besides the parkour at least. Its not terrible at all but basic. Unity still has the best to this day in that regard. A lot more variety with the tool usage though.
@@futureelement924 not better in combat, how can anyone not see that? Look the counter with the dagger, it looked like basim moved his hand randomly and stunned the enemy
Tbh the parkour does seem slower but I am cool with it. His movements in the parkour to me outshine the slower speed, like his movements during parkour feel more human to me.
This looks really nice, im so looking forward to this. During the walkthrough one of the devs said he grew up in this part of the world and really wanted the enviroments/lighting to look right. But man Roshans voice is so "croaky" it sounds creepy at times 🤣
How's it going Hollow! I have to say I really enjoyed watching this video! Basim looks really good! The story also seems to have decent narrative! I'm very much looking forward to this game now! I do wish they had shown a bit more of the character customization features. The only real gripe I have at this point is the slow pace when hopping or swinging from beam to beam. Also we did not see Basim use the new pole vault mechanic.
I still boot up Unity once in a while just to parkour around, it was a gem in that parkour and movement aspect, nevertheless still great to see AC is back to its roots.
OK I have 1 negative thing I think could be better and that's the multiple assassination thing should be fast movement with flips from target to target I don't like the vanish movement from target to target only gripe I have and movement should be a bit faster when traversing the world....that's it everything else looks incredible.....
Kind of dissapointed tbh. Everything was OKAY but what made me not want to buy it was the supernatural sequence near the end where he simultaneously kills like 3 guys at once as if he were a spirit teleporting or something. No magic or superpowers should be in AC. I don't want to see Eivor do a hulk smash into the ground and have his enemies go flying and I don't want to see Basim teleport. Also, I was expecting a MUCH MORE complex and innovating parkour kind of like AC unity but the movements are very simple but just faster. Also the graphics look a little too cartoony in my opinion and classic AC games graphics are supposed to be as realistic as possible. I also didn't see anything note worthy when it came to the combat. Obviously I haven't played the whole game so I will need to see more gameplay once it comes out to have a more informed opinion but im not buying any AC game with magic or superpower type combat.
1.He’s Loki he makes clones of himself in mythology 2.that was a unfinished unpolished game they showed ofc there’s gonna be small things off about it but there’s no need to dickride and find something wrong with it no one cares if you don’t buy it it’ll still get sales loser💀
I'm really glad assassin's creed has returned to it's original dna. I appreciate that they were brave enough to experiment with the genre but the games lost their strongest distinguishing qualities in exchange for massive sandboxes box experiences with little stealth, parkour, assassinations or creeds.
They need to put out both then because there's a percentage that prefers their RPGs and another that prefers the linear action adventure games. I personally have only liked Odyssey. The rest were repetitive af and I couldn't get through them
I need to become a game designer because I would have went another way when it came down to the multiple kill skill instead of vanishing had him do parkour between targets with some kicks neck brakes judo throws in there like I see ot in my head and my game would have been sick vanishing looks lazy to me I want to see more you know but game looks OK besides that....
I think the reason for the slowness of the parkour is 1. Since the game itself is still in development, and 2. They aren't going as fast so you can more carefully capture the scenery and the overall view of the game.
Yup everything is basically a Valhalla/origins reskin unfortunately, Ubisoft is stuck in a non stop loop hole. They can’t scrap this shitty engine, due to shortage of money cause they produce shit games. Another thing that I hate is the stupid dialogue and low budget interactions. What the fuck ever happened to detailed realistic cutscenes like in all the other versions before odyssey. And don’t get me started with the shitty accents they seemed to have adopted, again since odyssey.
It's not, look how bad the combat is. There was no proper animation of countering the enemy attack, basim just moved his dagger randomly and enemy got stunned like what! Combat animation should have been like older games with clean countering and fighting animation.
Glad I’m not the only one concerned about the parkour system, fluidity, and realistic animation style. Not to sound like a broken record, but just as many others pointed out, I was really hoping AC Mirage would mirror AC Unity in that regard. Unity was by far one of my favorites in the series specifically for the reasons I mentioned. It felt so real and was truly a magnificent work of art. I had high hopes AC Mirage would embody those qualities which would’ve made this game top tier and ultimately redeem the franchise. Despite my disappointments with this game so far, I can still say I’m truly excited to see an AC game set in 9th century Baghdad which I’ve always wanted and thought of (an AC game set in Muslim Spain under the fall of Granada and the Spanish Inquisition of 1492 would be amazing to see as well). As someone of Arab/Muslim background, and as someone who’s studied Middle Eastern studies/Islamic studies and is currently engaged in the traditional study of Islam, I can still come to truly appreciate the effort put into this game and look forward to its release.
For the first time in ages I'm actually going to buy an assassins creed game! It looks amazing and brings back the soul of the franchise and not some enormous never ending saga with a million quests! Nice to see it story driven too 👌🎮 looking forward to this 100%

So I voted with my money
It's also ONLY 50 BUCKS
Ubisoft actually doing something well is insane in this timeline
50 bucks? That's too expensive for me
@@Freedoms123 You don’t think it’s worth it?
@@Freedoms123what 😂😂😂
@@BairdOThello It's only worth 50 bucks if the game will be as they said but ubisoft not the kinda company who keeps their promise remember???
I’m so excited to play this game…feels so nostalgic 😭😤
They better add a altair outfit within the first couple months 😂😂
@@Blacklungs-Sanji Fr bro
Nope, no it doesn't
What?
Why is no one talking about the music? Its so amazing and epic-sounding!
the fact you can see clunk in the gameplay trailer makes me really hopeful that the game would look like
Parkour feels like Unity, from what I’ve seen so far. Looking good honestly
this is a certified ubisoft classic
👍
Old assassin creed mechanics fight and in Baghdad, this gonna be lit
I know basin was one of the fastest assassin in history of the game so I was disappointed we have to teleport to each target, instead he should sprint to each marked target in the kill sequence to demonstrate his speed to kill instead of putting teleporting in between each kill to give the illusion of quickness
3:24 the writing on the paper reads "killer, wanted to justice"
One of my favorite ideas from this game is cutting out damage sponging. It always completely took me out of games. Weapons should be dangerous and consequential. The parkour definitely not Unity style, but still look solid tho.
I never really felt any enemies were sponges in the RPG AC games, except for maybe Origins. The only sponges I dealt with in AC were in Unity.
basim going down the rope with bare hands is crazy ngl 4:21
I liked most of it besides the teleport skill, just breaks the amazing immersion they've created up until that poıint. But, I can simply choose to ignore any high fantasy skills like that so I think it'll be great overall.
I think that skill is more like a fast stealth killing than teleporting (it just looks like he's teleporting, but it's a game, so they gotta find a way to make it look cool). I'm okay with some fictions as long as it doesn't become a God of War type of fiction like Vallhala cause that's not what AC is supposed to be
It looks more like stealth than teleportation, and I think it looks awesome.
They should do a full animation cut scene like they did when he killed the main guy. I know it’s a lot of work to do that but I’m not feeling the whole magic poof poof thing.
@@iamscherzo It's tleporting tho you can see it set the play to 0.25 he materializes not even moving
@@maszkalman3676teleportation it not new to assassin creed if you ever played ac 1 al mualim the main villain use teleportation and cloning the final memory . ac2 ezio use cloning. ac brotherhood he use apple power to kill enemies.
4:22 What a grip on the rope with bare hands xD
Wish the parkour was a bit quicker and cooler but it looks good and the stealth and combat looks clean asf same with the stealth
I love how there still are some elements of upgrading and crafting like the previous rpg titles all while reverting back to og AC parkour and assassinations bro I'm too hyped for this
Dialogue cut scene looks straight out of Valhalla
The Pakour needs some tweaking to be more fluid and the "Multi-Assassinations" needs more of like Animations and not just teleporting or blinks.
Besides that i cant wait
ngl that sword play is what had me
This is sick man.
ITS EVERYTHING I WANTED 😭😭😭😭it’s so much like the old ones
Yeah some things
I would say its actually better than the older ones in almost every aspect from what we've seen so far. Besides the parkour at least. Its not terrible at all but basic. Unity still has the best to this day in that regard. A lot more variety with the tool usage though.
@@futureelement924 not better in combat, how can anyone not see that? Look the counter with the dagger, it looked like basim moved his hand randomly and stunned the enemy
A Nice blend of origins and older versions.
Of this new gen assassin's origins was by far the best and I'm glad they kept some things from it
Tbh the parkour does seem slower but I am cool with it. His movements in the parkour to me outshine the slower speed, like his movements during parkour feel more human to me.
The background score after the assassination was chef's kiss💋
Dude just seeing the tool/weapon wheel and smoke bombs again is giving me major nostalgia
I miss fighting like 8 Guards at once, parrying and countering their moves until there is just 1 left then execute
it always makes me so happy when you drop new game reviews I appreciate all you do for the community my man keep up the amazing work. :)
Wait this is Hollow? I didnt notice
Love the music ingame!
I still boot up Unity once in a while just to parkour around, it was a gem in that parkour and movement aspect, nevertheless still great to see AC is back to its roots.
4:37 the good old assassin's bureau. So nostalgic
Ghost of Tsushima looks and plays better but for Ubisoft it looks decent
Definitely a mixture of origins and the first ever AC1 game.
OK I have 1 negative thing I think could be better and that's the multiple assassination thing should be fast movement with flips from target to target I don't like the vanish movement from target to target only gripe I have and movement should be a bit faster when traversing the world....that's it everything else looks incredible.....
So awesome to see a series going back to it roots, looks amazing reminded me of running around in the first game
Ill buy it on discount in a year or 2 no rush for me
Bro Hollow looks more fit and in form than ever
I dont know i he is or not but the camera angle looks like it😂
Kind of dissapointed tbh.
Yup same here, I was hyped until I saw him teleport...Way to break immersion smh
1.He’s Loki he makes clones of himself in mythology 2.that was a unfinished unpolished game they showed ofc there’s gonna be small things off about it but there’s no need to dickride and find something wrong with it no one cares if you don’t buy it it’ll still get sales loser💀
The way he teleported really reminded me of old assassin creed games
I'm really glad assassin's creed has returned to it's original dna. I appreciate that they were brave enough to experiment with the genre but the games lost their strongest distinguishing qualities in exchange for massive sandboxes box experiences with little stealth, parkour, assassinations or creeds.
There's no problem with genre, who didn't like a viking besides RPG game is very boring
Nah Odyssey was the best. I can't get through other ACs
I’m definitely getting this. Great bday gift for myself
Looks cool but I'd have liked a remake of AC 2 on Venice more.
The new ability makes sense for this period of time...similar to the Prince of Persia Era...
It looks incredible. I didn't think I'd ever be exited for a AC game again ever since it became RPG's, but this looks amazing
Their next big game is gonna be an rpg again. Codename red.
Next game will be RPG again
They need to put out both then because there's a percentage that prefers their RPGs and another that prefers the linear action adventure games. I personally have only liked Odyssey. The rest were repetitive af and I couldn't get through them
@@hellomikie92 Yeah i know. Hopefully Mirage is amazing, so that this studio can continue to make old style AC's inbetween the rpg games
This game has that Assassin's Creed Revelations vibe with the similar setting & gadgets
Yeah this is looking like game of the year.....
That God damn kill Chain is insane
And there won't be any achievements on steam
1:43 this remembers one of the best character of AC "Bayek of Siwa"
I need to become a game designer because I would have went another way when it came down to the multiple kill skill instead of vanishing had him do parkour between targets with some kicks neck brakes judo throws in there like I see ot in my head and my game would have been sick vanishing looks lazy to me I want to see more you know but game looks OK besides that....
I think the reason for the slowness of the parkour is 1. Since the game itself is still in development, and 2. They aren't going as fast so you can more carefully capture the scenery and the overall view of the game.
still cant keep up with unity imo
Great video man! I need that necklace. 10/10 ⭐'s
sprint speed and overall parkour speed seems way too slow.
Basim: *Walks*
This guy in the video: "OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS SHIT!!!"
The movement is exactly the same as Valhalla 🤦
Idk we will know when we play as Basim ourselves. I hope it's parkour will rival at least the og games if not Unity.
I mean its gonna be better since basim is faster
The graphics look worse than Valhalla
@@knife72 Not really, it's almost same as Origins graphics which is more realistic.
I'm happy that Assassin's Creed returning to its roots while trying to keep it fresh!
It's not, look how bad the combat is. There was no proper animation of countering the enemy attack, basim just moved his dagger randomly and enemy got stunned like what! Combat animation should have been like older games with clean countering and fighting animation.
@@toyeager6234 Still in progress, let's see prior to october for the next gameplay.

The last AC i played was black flag and i cant wait for this one😍😍
2:38 you assist her in Valhalla, I knew I remembered that smokers voice.
Def had those nostalgic vibes🥷🏽🖤
The way I audibly gasped at the assassination sequence 9:14
Nice to see it story driven too 👌🎮 looking forward to this 100%
You have been missing out then lol there still story driven u don’t have to do side quest it’s an option and if u think this won’t have a lot your mistaken
@monte8935 20+ hour campaign will do me nicely 👍🎮
As already commented, the movement needs to be more fluid and faster too it seems. Will it be at 60fps?
Ah feels like the old days with fellow Altair, It looks beautiful and the music is perfect really excited for this.
