Congratulations mam 🎉🎉for 100 videos. You are doing great job . I am following you from last 8 months and there is a fabulous change in my singing just because of you and your Victorious wisdom . Thank you so much mam
Congratulations! I am eternally grateful for your teaching. My interest began when in learned that there was so much science behind singing. Not only has my singing improved but my voice as an orator has grown significantly more powerful. You are my teacher. I name you as my coach and quote your wisdom. I can sing in chest, head, blended and "SpongeBob" voices so distinctly, that I tried "Someday" from the Hunchback of Notre Dame with each verse sung in one of those voices and it got some good reactions. I love you! Bless you! Thank you! 🎶💖🎶
So many congratulations to you mam!!! Congratulations for 100 full length vocal technique videos!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉♥♥♥♥♥💜💜💜💜💜💜 honestly the work you put into making these videos, I understand how hard and time taking it is to make videos!! 100 quality videos !!! Seriously seen so many vocal coach in TH-cam but no one is like you! You maintained your high standards of delivering quality contents but making sure to explain everything in simple terms yet not cutting on the important things!! I am so happy for you! You deserve millions of subscribers! Thank you for always answering our questions, for giving us amazing videos, for making videos on topics we sometimes suggest and helping us in all ways possible! Once again a big thank you to you and many many congratulations for achieving this milestone 🎉🎉🎉♥♥💜💜💜✨✨
thank you for being here! you're the best vocal coach I've ever seen keep it up! my question is... I know how to sing like by technique but musically it's bad... when I hear someone sing I can imitate that but when I try to do my OWN harmony, runs, riffs.. is just off pitch and sounds so bad ... is there any tip to do it right?
Your question covers 2 things - pitch and tone. For tone, watch my video the videos in my playlist on Better Singing Tone: th-cam.com/play/PLaWjWxiTysDDB0K_J9FKiiwSxcV65xjxh.html. For pitch, I recommend working with a pitch monitor app and there are lots of free ones. If you need more help, ear training and singing in tune should really be done with a private teacher.
@@Victoria-Victorious ...I watch your podcasts often as you know Victoria. You get down to the nitty-gritty of it. I am glad that I stumbled upon your site. I perform lengthy solo acts that require my mind be on numerous things at the same time. I had a personal singing coach for a while who didn't provide me with information that you are providing me. Thank you.
Congratulations and thanks for all that you share. It's been helpful trying to regain my speaking and singing voice due to illness and vocal chord spasms. Now I'm trying to decide whether to try to just build myself up training or go for botox injections that may or may not even work. Do you have any experience or information about that? I know you're not a doctor, but I don't think my doctor is a singer and he would be referring me to someone else. Thanks again.
Please go to my website. See the link in the description. Also, it’s not an exercise book. My audio exercise training program is different. www.healthyvocaltechnique.com/order-victorias-victorious-vocal-exercise-program/
Can i ask you an off topic question? Been working on bringing my Larynx down recently and I can hear an improvement in sound quality while singing in head voice and keeping Larynx neutral, but was unsure about whether I should be dropping my Larynx when singing in chest voice and singing low notes/middle notes as when I do this it seems to leave my throat feeing as if it is blocked and feels as if it strains easier, thanks!
No, many singers push their larynx down in the lower register and that creates more problems. Have neutral as your default unless you are a classical singer (which has a lower larynx but never pushed or forced down).
I do have a question based on my reading. Do you or your students use the idea of 'inalare la voce' when you sing? I'm not sure I understand what that means. A high school classmate had a developed operatic soprano and she once told me she sang the notes out and then sort of pulled them back in. I have so many different ideas about this I thought I'd just ask. By the way, this is an excellent video.

No, sorry, I do not have experience with that. I am happy that you are able to speak and sing again. Just take it slowly and ease into it.

While I certainly understand the term, I do not use it in my teaching because I think it confuses people because they tend to lock open.
Mam what is vocal placement, vowel placement
I don't use the word vocal "placement". I prefer focused vowels or vowel colors. See my playlist on vowels (go to my channel page).
