    (1) Wow, two new videos from Joan in one week! It's good to be a Knight! (2) Joan, you are indeed an inspiration...again. I can definitely see the improvement in your posture since your earliest vlogs, and you look as toned as can be! (3) My only exercise these days is a LOT of walking, push-ups and some stretches. I really need to do more...not to lose weight, but to gain more strength, especially in the lower back. (4) I'd always heard that it's a good idea to take a day's break between workouts. But you are living proof that this is not necessarily so. Bottom line: You've never looked healthier, Joan! So glad you've found the regimen that works for you! 😘

    Working out has always been very hard for me. I get bored so easily at the gym, so I decided to do kickboxing. But I strained my back at work, so I stopped kickboxing to give my back a break. At some point I just stopped kickboxing all together and lately I have been doing pilates once a week. I enjoy it so much, that I think I'm going to do pilates twice a week. And I'm also hoping to incorporate a bit of light cardio for a little extra to see if I can get my body to be more active 3 times a week. Starting small and going to work my way up there!

    You look incredible, Joan! Of course, I always thought of you as someone beautiful, inside and out! I haven’t been working out regularly since the pandemic but I used to go to a Yoga studio. I do like Pilates and hot yoga the most. For now, I am more of a walking around the neighborhood person. This video is truly inspiring and I appreciate your insight, Joan!     I love seeing you back on youtube again! I'm currently in my proper start at working out after doing sessions with a personal trainer for 4 months. I'm so excited about starting this journey but I do struggle the most with motivation to actually go 😅 Finally after starting studying I can get a rutine in, I like to work out in the mornings as well, so I can get a workout in before lectures.

    I love cycling/spinning if you’d ever wanna try it! It’s a fun form of cardio and if you take a class the instructor makes it interesting by changing positions, speeds, and intensities :)

    I did at home yoga pre-pandemic...but totally stopped all exercise during it. Started doing at home pilates (from some smaller content creators), and it's been a game changer. Helped my posture so much, and for the first time I am starting to see physical results. I would love to go for in person classes, but pilates still isn't big in my city...and the only studios are almost an hour away 😭

    I also love love workout, atleast an hour a day, same as you, i love to vary my workout, cos i dont like same boring routine, so my workout plan is 2 times a week lifting with PT, 1 day weight lift + cardio (running +jump rope) , and other days i switch between swimming or running and including light 20 mins yoga after. Might seem bit intense for some but i swear i feel so much better than before that i only switch between yoga and lifting for only 30mins a day. Try swimming joan , its also very therapeutic for me. Love ❤️

    I don’t have easy access to get to the gym so I usually pull up a workout video on TH-cam to get my body moving and heart racing. The only form of cardio I can do is walking. I need to learn how to breathe better for more intense cardio. 😅

    I am on the same kinda routine , doing cardio like stairmaster and treadmill with a incline. I have also add weight training! I am also doing a calorie deficit- I wanted to ask if you are doing the deficit as well , it would be helpful to know what you make. So hard to find nice recipes ❤

    Joan, I would suggest a trigger warning on this video! Even tho you didn’t say weight loss was a goal for you, there was a lot of talk about calories and wanting to burn as many as you can. This can be massively triggering for people with disordered eating. Not a hater at all, I love your content, but I don’t want anyone else leaving this video feeling the way I did. Besides that, I’m super happy for you that you’ve found this routine that works for you!

      yes, i also think it would be a good idea. This sounds like a great routine for Joan and it must have took a lot of time for her to get there healthly ...but for others could definitily ring a few triggers with the "burns +"...also there's not only disordered eating but disordered and obsessive exercising as well...if anyone is struggling atm, maybe consider sitting this one out?

    Working out every single day is not good I think… Your body needs to rest too and especially your muscles. You should have rest days in between workouts.

      I know what you mean! I actually consider my Saturday & Sundays to be my "rest days" because I only do cardio. I usually just stay at home on the weekends to catch up on work and errands so it's the best way for me to get outta my chair :)

    How do you know if you gained muscles and not fat? I’ve tried working out twice and gained weight both times but I don’t think it’s muscle mass, I guess it’s just my body storing fat 🥹
