Finally a "shooting" video where the guy doesn't feel the need to appease the safety police and show the gun is empty before he handles it and actually shoots more than he talks as well as showing the results. Hats off to you JBJ Honez!
I believe you have to remove the iron sights to expose the mounting holes that Henry makes a rail for optics to mount to! Because I was told at academy sports that you could not put an optic on it and it turns out that's not true! You just unscrew the iron sights and the two threaded holes that are remaining will allow you to use Henry's mounting rail and you can place an optic on it just an FYI I liked your video!
Thanks. Yeah. I recently found this on the Henry website. I haven’t checked mine yet to see. No rush, I don’t mine the factory sights honestly. Note to Golden Boy Owners (H004 Series in .22s/l/r, .22m, .17hmr) H004 Series guns with a Brooklyn, NY rollmark on the barrel were not drilled and tapped for a scope mount. If your gun is NOT made in Brooklyn, NY you can use the GB-CSM or GB-CSMP mounts for H004 series guns. The drilled and tapped holes are located under the rear sight. If unsure on how to remove the rear sight, you can watch the video here: Rear Sight Removal and Base Installation
@@JBJHonez yeah I agree with you it almost feels sacrilegious to put a scope on it it's such a pretty rifle I just recently got one this past week as an early Christmas present from my girlfriend and she's gorgeous I name mine Goldie lol! But it's nice to know that you could put one on if you wanted to especially if your eyes ain't so good like mine I'm getting up there in age and iron sights can be a challenge at times! But keep up the good work I really enjoyed the video! Regards

Thanks
I try not to jaw Jack to much
First thing I did to my H004 was swap the Buckhorn sights for the HiViz fiber optic ones. The difference is quite dramatic. Love my Henry!
Cool. Thanks for sharing
