Dak's lack of drama isn't a big deal, it's actually really common with that position regardless of where they get drafted and what round... Dak is NOT an Elite Quarterback plain and simple, regardless of "the market" he's not worth top dollar... he's not worth 60% of Top Dollar because he doesn't PRODUCE 60% of what he's supposed when it matters most. The only guarantee with Dak is that you will REGRET having him as your QB in the Postseason. That is the ONLY GUARANTEE.

Besides just the taxes the endorsements. You think you would see him in Sleep Number commercials if he played for the Browns, Bengals, Bills, Jags, Titans and a number of other teams. Think he has a deal with Jordan too and I know he was in Dannon commercials haven't seen those in a while though but I think there is others. Plus when he retires sure he could probably get a job with one of the networks like so many other Cowboys do when they retire. They should offer him basically the same deal Lawrence just got. Maybe a little more guaranteed. When you are talking $55m or $60m that $5m really isn't that big of a deal still getting paid a fortune besides the taxes and opportunities for endorsements and a cushy job in broadcasting when he retires.

But I think the Cowboys aren’t going to extend Dak and that’s why they brung Trey Lance to be the next starting quarterback for the team
