@@RWAquariumPages Appreciate you; especially the quick response. Im definitely gonna give it a hard look, To be able to print photos like that would be a blessing.
@@joeyyyvr6355 I just bought mine recently as well, and just got done using it for the first time. The video comparison is pretty spot on, trust me, I LOVE it because its got a nice polaroid type charm to it, but the colors are a little off from the original photo. Like he said in the video, its not bad at all, its just not 100% accurate but its really nice to have! Just a little saturated color wise
I just paid $109 for my 1500- Best buy price matched Cannons online price. So far I love it! My only complaint is that ridiculous paper tray - they could have at least included a slot in the back of the printer to set it in or something. Right now I just set it on the desk with the printer on top of it but it's not ideal but certainly not a deal breaker either. I'm happy with the app other than the fact that sometimes it doesn't connect as quickly as I would like it too and the fact that the battery is a separate upcharge isn't ideal but again, for the most part this is a great little printer and it's doing exactly what I need it to do. (Helping me finally get my scrapbooking caught up! Lol)
Good comparison, but it leaves off one very important point: price per print At MSRP, ZINK paper is sold in a 50 pack for $30 and the Canon Selphy RP-108 ink/paper pack provides 108 prints for $36. So, at MSRP: Canon Selphy = 34¢ per print Canon Ivy = 60¢ per print The difference here is pretty big and should be taken into account when choosing between these two products. At MSRP it would take 154 prints to recoup the $40 difference between the two models, and any prints after that would be saving you overall cost on the CP1500 system. Both papers can be found on discount but that would be an inconsistent way of comparing costs. For what it’s worth, at the time of this post, on Amazon you can get a 100 pack of ZINK paper for $40 or a 3 pack of RP-108 for $80, which brings the printing costs down to 40¢ per print for the Ivy and 25¢ per print for the CP1500. That means it would take 267 prints to break even on the CP1500 vs the IVY 2.
I have several Selphy CP printers from Canon. what still bugs me when you have the power cable plugged in, it gets in the way for the printed paper, the printer does several ink runs, printing all the colors, and you have to keep in mind that the paper does not get in the way of the plugged in power cable, quite annoying too. That keeps me from not using it anymore. What a waste of money....
All zink paper printer and cameras don't work in winter because they need to heat the paper to print so it gives an error or says to move to a warmer temperature ,all the zink paper colors are washed out a really regret buying the zink insta camera that works with Bluetooth I send from phone instead of using the camera itself I want to get the dye sublimation one the canon 1300 the reds and other Colors are great this picture with just green doesn't really show the bad colors of the zink paper the only reason I watched this video is because of the new model 1500 but I guess is the same as the 1300
Yeah no ink seperate on the IV but the color are pale through that Technologie. The selphy has better color. Zink printer are more fun device and not for Real Photos. The paper cost nearly the same. The batty you show for the selphy is really expensive. Normal it is around 30euro. And when you can soldering it easy made you self. The IVy has bluetooth That's lower then wifi. The paper case of the paper is a cheap and fast case and no down point.
Have both, love both
Which do you like more
Hey they asked a serious question I’m trying to get a printer but not balling to get both just need one

The cat almost looks like a dog in the final comparison when you printed "the same picture" :)
Connecting the cp1500 to my phone it was really easy, I didn’t have to set up any Wi-Fi connection
Great video. Good job sir, super helpful and entertaining.
You compare a picture to a not calibrated phone screen. Of course there's differences.
AMAZING COMPARISON
Wow I love these.... Thank you so much

Also the lowest price I just saw was 119 euro for a black CP1500. The white an pink version is 20 euro more in price, why is that?
Hi thinking of selling it ?
very helpful and thorough comparison--thank you!

What's the cost per print?
How many photos can you print off one cartridge on selphy?
