Those secret compartments underneath the driver's seat are for the charging cable - as a plug in, the cable wraps up with the power supply and the wrap sits in the larger compartment while the charging port connecting "gun" sits on the smaller compartment closer to the rear seats.
I wonder if anyone aware of how long does the hybrid battery last on this c-max? And how pricy it to replace? Thanks in advance. And thanks for the video!
On my best days of driving my 2014 C-max energi, I am able to get 37 km using the plug in power only before it kicks into regular hybrid mode. (Best days I consider to be summer months and level driving). For the winter that number drops down to 24 to 26 km.
I've only watched a few car reviews, but this was great, very complete which is what I want to see. I'm about to hit the button on a cmax energi now, best bang for the buck on a used plug-in vehicle...i think.
I have a Focus C-Max from 2004 and it also has the "secret" compartments, it is a feature on C-Max. Great review, I'm thinking in changing my old car with this model.
Hi I have a 2017 ford c-max energi. What is the button on the side of the shifter lever do? Are you supposed to engage it when you are going downhill downhill on cruise control?
Great review, liked it. One friendly word - when editing the video with different cuts try to make it a bit smoother. It does not look very nice when you get cut off and re-emerge with a completely different pose!
+Tycondaroga thank you. I get your point, I just started to cut all those "ehms" and pauses and therefore it appears like this. It's going to take some time to speak without those sounds and that's why I had to cut it this way. Thanks for understanding, I promise to improve. ;-)
You will, i am following the reviews since the first ones and I see that the channel is improving day after day, so I have faith! Keep up the good work, loving it!
+Tycondaroga highly appreciate it, thanks for your continuous support. Soon there will be 6 more brands coming that I will review over the year 2017 as well as 3x motorcycle brands over biking season this year. Content will come weekly and consistent! Stay tuned for much more to come...

I’ll be receiving my C-max Energi next week and this is the best driving experience video I’ve seen around TH-cam. Cheers from Baja California! 🍻

Thanks a lot for your comment. A thumbs up and a subscription would be all that’s needed to support this channel. Cheers

The electric functions generally pull from the 12V battery...

+Tycondaroga I highly appreciate your positive feedback. It's nice to hear good feedback from time to time. Thanks
Great video, very informative! How tall are you, by the way? I'm 2m tall and it looks like I might fit comfortably in this car.
+Jupiter065 I'm 1,84m tall. Hope that helps.
I am six feet tall and have plenty of room in this car.
electric motor...not an engine
