So after watching the first 3 films me and white gold are back with the 4th installment of the Child’s play franchise. This is The Bride Of Chuckie. After being cut apart by the police, killer doll Chucky (Brad Dourif) is resurrected by Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly), an ex-girlfriend of the serial murderer whose soul is inside the toy. Following an argument, Chucky kills Tiffany and transfers her soul into a bride doll. To find the magical amulet that can restore them both to human form, Chucky and Tiffany arrange to be driven to New Jersey by Jesse (Nick Stabile) and Jade (Katherine Heigl), who are unaware that their cargo is alive. There are a couple of jump scares but I mostly like the film for the second doll and how good it went bc it could’ve been really bad not a huge plot like the other but just enough to keep you scared and entertained

R.I.P. John Ritter. He was the Chief of Police in this movie. He played Jack Tripper on Three's Company in the late 70s and early 80s.

This is the most 90s grunge Chucky film cuz of rock music and Jennifer Tilly! Bride and Childs Play 2 are my top 2!
Oh and 1 more thing when they killed Jade's uncle in the van with the nails in his face Chucky took a look at him afterwards and said why does that look so familiar and if yall didn't know what he meant about that or who he was referring to he was referring to Pin Head aka Hellraiser.

I never expected another Chucky movie after Part 3 in 1991. Imagine my surprise in 1998 when this came out. Not because of the way Chucky was killed in 3 but because of the controversy that happened in England - the Jamie Bulger murder case. Two young kids lured a toddler away from his mother and then tortured and murdered him and left his body on the train tracks. They then blamed the Chucky movies for it and it led to a whole 'Video Nasty' resurgence back in 1993. I'm glad the series came back though. I think it was the success of Scream in 1996 that brought this franchise back. Scream made horror a hot commodity once again and everyone wanted to be in them

Great reaction. As far as the best horror comedy Bride is by far the best in this series. Very curious to see your thoughts on Seed since most fans hate it or feel its the weakest in the whole series. Then gets dark again with Curse. Anyway yeah that nod to Michael, Jason, Freddy and Leatherface was cool. I meN Jason and Freddy are in the same universe so why not Chucky and Michael? Last year they did a cross promo with Michael and Chucky in the same commercial it as pretty cool.
There's also a hint that Chucky kind of remembers Pinhead when he saw the cop's nailed face
