That was great. And a long one too. I must make note of two things -- Rob's Sideburns (but it was 1975) and the rules was in inches. Normally you do measurements in metric.
@@benji274 The 70s was the period where Australia switched from imperial to metric, I remember in primary school where we were taught both as both were still used for a time, but by the late 70s, we were doing everything in metric.
10min segment on pinwheels?! would be hard to do that these days...even here on youtube! ...theres no doubting this is from the 70s.... Robs sideburns give it away!!
If I could hop in a time machine (and was able to bring some sort of modern video recording tech with me), I'd go back to the day when Humphrey B Bear had a run-in with Rob's Van der Graaf generator and then hand the footage to Rob and Deane to upload onto the CuriosityShow TH-cam channel.
Well that is serendipitous --- in the 2011 ground breaking video game Dark Souls there is a "level boss" named Pinwheel who has three forms: the mother, the father and the child ...

Inches are much easier for a little kid to see thirds in that size.
@@MilwaukeeF40C yes but later episodes all do everything in metric centimeters millimeters meters
I think Australia only moved over to metric distance measurements a year or two before this.
@@benji274 Makes sense

I think his outfit is enough of a tell on its own.
And the skivvy.
We watch people unblocking culverts for more than 10 minutes on TH-cam...

I'd like that - I only have a photo taken a little while before the shocking incident - Rob
I'd get next week's lottery numbers first!
I've always wanted to know the theme song to paper and now I do.
(That video was wonderful.)
Ohh so that's why those kind are called pinwheels
A four petaled flower or an old Hindu symbol.
😂
