1:47 the no healing in combat rule isn't one of the three main nuzlocke rules. The actual third rule of nuzlocke is that you must nickname every pokémon.
No healing is an added optional rule to increase difficulty for stuff like hardcore nuzlockes.
Can't nickname in this game however, so that rule doesn't apply anyway
@@johnp9795 yea. That one is generally considered optional too iirc. The whole purpose of that rule is to make you get more attached so loosing pokémon hurts more.
and it's not "no healing in battle", it's "no items" which is very different xD

I didn’t know the let go games moves could be learned I thought they were egg moves only as I had multiple mons with floaty fall as their egg move
@@grandpa8877 a lot of them are but zippy zap was given to raichu and boosts evasion instead of the critical hit
@@rushibhanu7037 it helped me get to floor 182 before losing to shantaul because I didn’t think that I would get the gen 5 elite 4 and didn’t prepare for all of them

Like, if you can choose to go to areas with Grass Pokemon (almost 3 times in circles) then ofc it would be easy lol
And I guess you lose the previous ones because right at the start there is a water/lake/ocean areas where the game sends you if you are not carefull (Also where a lot of people crocalors dies before seeing the chance of becoming Skeledirges)

Tips for pokerogue if you find a eevee with adaptability catch it. It is busted early game and when it evolves depending on which eevee evo you got it will have the Let’s go eevee move of that type. Example if you had a eevee evolved it into umbreon, instead of dark pulse it will get baddy bad.
Right stab and better stats
Tbh loosing that shiny was pretty major as shinies can boost luck and it was a blue star which has 2 luck instead of 1, the higher can boost item upgrading odds plus toxic is really good against multiple health bars as it will count all health bars as one which means it can deal a heavy chunk and since toxic deals 1/16th and increases by 1/16 every turn, it deadly and ruination also works, as from what I seen from Alpharad idk if they did anything against it
He wouldn't have gotten that mega bracelet without that plus 2 luck

The Noctowl disrespect in this cant go unpunished. Boomburst Noctowl brought me to my first pokerouge win, and for only 1 starter point.
One fun thing, they are thinking about making a Nuzlock mode in the future, would be really interesting if you could make a new video on the topic when they release the mode, but i'am pretty sure it will take a while
Honestly gengar with curse is the strat to beat eternatus, alakazam with nasty plot and psychic sweeps+recover, and a bird for brave bird and absolute speed. As well as a shiny if you have one I had bidoof, and a sacrifice Pokémon.
145 is the true run killer

edit: in moops defense, ive been doing solo classic runs (using only one mon ever - shiny clause to catch but then release) and ive oneshot 145 rival with both venusaur and skeledirge - getting there with inteleon (if i havent already)
I took 3 attempts and lost to eternatus once before winning with my glorious king xurkitrees like 1k special attack
I am guessing you got xurkitree with tail glow, genesect also has tail glow and it learns… download, manaphy who naturally has tail glow, can have quiver dance and have simple as a passive

Same thing for me its my zekrom tho. Bolt beak after u pumped this thing up with speed vitamins and other buffs did like 1,5k damage
@@abdul-warisalao true but Manaphy passive is kinda crazy as it can learn amnesia, acid armor and has quiver dance as an egg move with two moves it sweeping everything and it can baton pass and manaphy is a mythical sooo it already has good stats

The plan was to use Meowscarada as a backup sweeper in case Ivy had a powerful water type as her starter or I lost Skelidirge, Hone claws + flower trick is pretty cracked

...so an update added the evil teams, which completely changed several of the floors, including floors 114 and 115, a double trainer battle of an admin and a leader of the respective team
Ngl I prefer only picking one starter (that must be an official main game one) and getting one pokemon every 5 waves. Every 10 waves is a boss battle and in pokemon games when you complete a boss (gym leaders) you usually unlock more than 1 encounter
Picking one starter and getting 1 encounter every 5 waves makes the most sense for me
Also it's kinda harder only getting one starter. If you get a bad match up against the rival you can more or less reset. It's probably less fun and half the time your runs won't last more than 20 waves, but nuzlockes are kinda like that
Btw one more thing egg moves are also way too broken

i got as far as 188 but i had very little answer to karen only cause my breloom was dead and i revived terapagos instead but apparently moon blast dosent one shot cause reasons and why is sitrus and enigma berry a thing.

I love that little plant dinosaur so very much, will always have a place in my heart for my very first starter, but damn is it weak in most places it exists. The only exception is HGSS Rival 2, the battle in Azalea town, damn is Bayleef actually kinda a threat there if your rival has it. Perfect stall build, he knows what he's doing. But that's the only place it poses a threat really.

Tip if you try pokerouge, choose male character, cus then you get Ivy which is cute and adorable and not Finn who is boring and annoying as a rival

I completed my first run yesterday, but I can't believe this is the most fun I've had with pokemon in years
Did that but added the rule that if I get lucky and as a item reward there's a revive of any sort (revive, max revive, sacred ashes) I am allowed to use it on a pokemon that died in the same battle that dropped the item if not obviously releasing it
The double dunsparce at the end meant everything they gave you the luck of the Sparce

Nicknaming wasn’t an official rule in the first ever Nuzlocke, it just served the emotional drive that Nuzlockes used for their narrative
oh so i just cant get past 145 but you can nuzlocke it, my lack of pokemon knowledge should be an indicator not to play this but i persist
even with my great team of Boomburst Meloetta, Skeledirge, Ludicolo, Magnezone and Crobat, i still only managed to get to wave 150 before getting destroyed by Brassius
