I think you should paint that little Tracker back to it's original color. Those little buggers actually hold their value pretty good. A lot of RV people love those as a tow vehicle, and they don't make them anymore.

I agree. They were actually pretty reliable too. My uncle had a yellow one with the black top. His was a '94. I remember he put like 300,000 miles on it and barely had an issue. A deer hit it and totaled it

The Tracker is a big improvement over the Suzuki Samurai. A lot safer. The radiator should be available as the engine and rad were used on Geo's and Suzuki's. The smoke was from all the oil leaks from sitting and maybe whatever stuff you used when cleaning the engine bay. Discount Tire should have some modern on road off road tires. I would go back with the factory rims, those "blade" wheels are horrid! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! Good job on fixing all the issues -- !!!! Very good troubleshooting, you got a lot farther than the last owner!

I got an 02 forester kinda bent with faded red clear coat peeling now i know what colors to repaint with some of that plati coye rattle can paint it will be perfect

Hello Mike, greetings from Spain, I have been following you and Randy for a long time, in my town this car is very common, it is a Suzuki Vitara, only very simple and reliable engines, I say this from experience as a mechanic, but the level of You have to check the antifreeze in the radiator cap, not in the bottle, it's just excess, the radiator cap has a valve with a spring that opens when it exceeds the pressure and sends it to the bottle, and by the way, you don't have the tube connected that comes out of the radiator cap towards the bottle, a huge greeting😊

Like I said Mike I bought mine when I lived in Missouri. Wasn't sure if the 4x4 would be any good but to my Suprise it worked like a champ. I drove from Rolla, Mo to Minnesota in some of the worst weather. Never had a problem. I thing you should retire that single fuel injector. Put a more modern one on. Might just get ya rolling and reliable. 🙂

G'morning Mike 🤠 ☕☕ . Congrats, that Tracker is quirky. Kool, extremely fuel-efficient, dednutz reliable & she'll get you wherever you need to go on or off road when none of your other rigs will. If I were in the same position to do so I would rather enjoy having the tracker around for the long-term rather than kicking myself in the proverbial butt for letting it go and trying to find another one to replace it with later on ,😋😋😋go

The color is a bit of a mystery. It is either 38U or 991A. Both are called Magenta Metallic.
Yes, she is Magenta. I had a fuchsia mini skirt suit in a similar color I used to wear to the club in the 80s. Haha

Ooooh can't be as big as what I had in mine. I had a box in the back a friend made for his Ford Escort hatch. It had 2 15 inch subs, 4 mid ranges, 4 tweeters. Had 2 base speakers under the seat. 6x9s in the rear panels and 4s in all the factory spots and 2 amps. My poor alternator couldn't keep up lol. The 1st night we put that hodgepodge together, we got a ticket. Cop heard us from 2 blocks away lol. For a name...well Barbie had a little sister named Skipper. So there ya go
The 1 wire connector is for the gauge, the 2 wire connector is for the coolant temp sensor (for the computer to determine fuel/timing)
Both of mine are single wire.
@@MonkeyWrenchMike You're missing a wire/connector somewhere. The 94 Tracker has a single wire (without any plastic, it's just a metal female spade connector) for the temp gauge and the coolant temp sensor is a 2 wire generic denso plug connector with sort of a rounded rectangle look to it (should be green). You definitely should have a 2 wire connector, the coolant temp sensor is located on the side of the manifold near the #1 cylinder intake I believe
Got to say I would love to have that Geo Tracker. I had a 92 Geo Metro (new) back in the day and loved that car until it got totaled.
The stock stereo will do just fine.👍 And yes we will address the grill and headlights.🙂👍

Nice truck MWM ,i drove a suzuki sidekick , it had a small lift kit and oversized tires , it was a kick to drive with the top off , mine was a 5 speed which made just a little more fun , enjoy it Mike , it's a lot of fun and Lola will fit right in , lol , waiting for the next one , peace

Love it. Good job with it so far Mike. As soon as you make sure the head gasket is ok, you can put the finishing touches on it. Its going to be a sad day for me when you sell this one. Too bad about the "pink" otherwise, I bet you would keep it and make it a "to the store" rig. Once sorted it should run fine and be cheap to drive and maintain...not to mention fun if a soft top were to be added

Looking better each video Mike! Looks like your grill is missing the two screws that hold the bottom on. They attach at the front of the wheelwell arches behind the headlamps.
That thing would look great with the OEM steel wheels back on it perhaps sprayed black.
