Went 60lb dumbbells and it definitely made a difference. Was able to stay unbroken on the deadlifts and transition straight into the bench press. The real difference was in the cleans. A not so common movement with some heavier weight definitely added to the challenge. Also, having the hardest movement going into the row definitely impacted the pace. Wanted to row around 1:55 500m pace but was closer to 2:00 so nothing impressive there. Challenge yourself and use some heavier dumbbells or even try hang squat cleans for an added pain. Give this one a go!
