I actually like the formula cuz it's velvety but if it transfers then it's definitely not worthy
I heard from thelabmuffin, a pretty solid source that powder sunscreens do not provide proper protection as they’re not able to for a uniform layer on the skin to make a sunscreen “barrier”, even if it has sunscreen filters. Maybe it’s good as a mattifying powder, but a proper sunscreen should be used for reapplication.

The Fenty lipstick has to be applied on both the lips without smacking each other and after drying it doesn't come off like that.
I don't know about other products but Fenty has been pretty good for me.

👉🏼 A good way is to apply a bit of powered sunscreen on your scalp by parting your hair. And of course you use powdered sunscreen on face.
👉🏼 As you know, no matter whatever skin color you are sunscreen is very important it protects you from a lot of harmful shit. So powdered suncreens main motive is to be applied on top of make-up.
👉🏼 As you know sunscreen needs to be applied every two hours. 👉🏼We apply Serum after cleansing our face, serums/Toners whatever, then we apply Face moisturizing Creme and after that we apply Sunscreen creme of our choice of SPF and brand. But sometimes we need to attend ceremony for example, or we going out clubbing whatever the reason is, we have applied makeup, and since we need to apply suncreen every two hours it's difficult for us to apply on top of makeup, this is where powdered sunscreen comes into play.
👉🏼 You can try Natural Sun eco or another good one is from The Derma, Jane Iredale, Colorscience. I have the Sun eco one and the Derma, works well for me.
👉🏼Also now there are suncreen for scalp hair as well in the Beauty market, so please do check em out.

there's a study on how powder sunscreens do not provide the needed protection when applied on face as the lab tests for spf protection is done with a thick sample of the powder which does do the trick..but its not practical

Rather than a powder sunscreen, wouldn't it be better to buy a compact powder with spf + sunstick or sunscreen spray for protection
Most suncreen packed Compact thing has color in it which can tamper with your beautiful makeup. Sunstick can strip your makeup base, and spray is alright but usually for hair, you don't want it to melt your make-up away. But I bet there's good options for sunscreen sprays.
It's a temporary fix but works well. I'm talking about the infamous Powdered sunscreen.

I think mcaffeine does not have a really pathbreaking range of products. I only got their scrub and body butter but when I am done with the scrub, I will get something from Skinpot Co. Have you tried Skinpot?

I'm sorry but how do you, as someone familiar with skincare and ingredients, see a product, know it's extremely basic and that you're paying for the brand/reputation, not the product, and then proceed to buy it, and then regret it? No skincare product of any kind is worth that kind of money. Also, PSA, sunscreen in any form that isn't a cream/serum consistency i.e. sprays, powders and even sticks, are useless. The amount of that powder you'd have to use to get the advertised protection would make you look cakey and terrible. Spray-on SPFs are not advisable bc low coverage and inhaling it can be dangerous and stick sunscreens don't offer enough coverage. There's a video by LabMuffinScience explaining this more in detail.

Not really. They won't be able to provide enough sun protection unless you pack on hefty layers of it onto your skin, which I think is very inconvenient and wasteful. You'll be better off using a cream or gel based sunscreen.
@@_reveriiut bro we need to apply suncreen every two hours as you know in that case powder is the only option. We can't mess up our face paint 😅. It's an okay temporary fix you already have suncreen creme in your base. After two hours just touch up. And it's just face you're already using lotion on body arms
