Every time I rode the ferry to Martha's Vineyard in the 70's thorough the 90's, this song was in my head, as well as James Taylor's 'Terra Nova.' Both songs really set the mood for my visit to what used to be such a magical place.
I remember seeing this video at a Sears store (or similar) in Dallas when they were demonstrating laser disc players. There was also a video for "Vengeance." I loved this album. I wish Carly acknowledged and stood up for her gay fans. We've always been there for her, she needs to be there for us. Every voice helps.

Carly's sister, Lucy Simon, wrote the gorgeous score for Doctor Zhivago - A New Musical - which proves talent certainly runs in the family. I was blessed to be in the audience four times when the musical played in Australia in 2011, and then again when it opened on Broadway on 23 April 2015. The world is certainly blessed to be able to partake of haunting music like this.

My Mom passed away in Aug. of '79 & was buried on my birthday....I don't remember if this was played at her funeral, but I certainly recall making the request. It's one of my MANY ( How can you choose from such a vast catalog? ) favorites. I'd like to have it played at my own service...along with Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb"...but that's just me....lol

This song was a memorial to my Mother Eda, we played it at the funeral home and it was written on her memorial pages. If you want to see it look up Broussard's Mortuary in Beaumont, TX (Eda Moore). I lost her in August 2009 and she always said this was her song, she was going back to the Cape where she grew up and funny she married Daddy from TX, and we lost him yrs. ago but he loved MA. too. Now after having cancer, they think they got it all without chemo, hopefully, if not I'll be home too,M

My favorite from the "No Secrets" would be "His Friends are more than fond of Robin". Both songs are Carly at her best!
