thank you very much for this - was here because of the balancing. "Better leave well enough alone" is what I'm taking from here - usefull in many situations - thanks
Thank you! I think I could have fixed it BUT something was keeping me from prying the lid off and I worried I would break it. And yes, I searched just prior to you making this video and couldn’t find anything.
Turn it over and remove the 4 small rubber feet. Remove the screws underneath. Unscrew the power cord guide rods and remove the power cord From their inner track. The tension of the power cord is part of what keeps the unit in place. Once that’s done, there will be enough slack and room to take a small flathead screwdriver and pop the 6 plastic tabs. Disconnect the cable from the dust sensor box on the outside of the fan housing. From this point on it’s about 12 more screws to get the fan housing apart. You can also gain access to the control board and electric motor if you need to but there’s not much point as it’s a sealed unit.
Thanks so much for posting this!! My Levoit just started making a weird whining sound even after changing the filter. Gonna try troubleshooting using this video.
Much appreciated. Unfortunately I think my unit has bad motor damage, but even knowing there's no service center or service manual saves me many long calls.
It looks like I've fallen behind on reviewing comments... OK, I see that some feet are smaller than the others, and it's good to know not to remove the bigger ones. That's great information. Thanks for sharing!

Fear is a terrible thing! You might have balanced the blade just by turning the unit upside down & off its side & centered the fan blade by eye & feel & then tighten.
Possibly. I didn't notice any play where the blades attach to the shaft, though. It seemed to be out of round rather than off center. This unit was from an Amazon returns auction, so a factory defect wouldn't be surprising.
This is the only video I could find where someone actually disassembles the LV-H133. Thanks so much for sharing!

Thank you! I've been looking for a video like this for the last two years.

Hey! Just wanted to say thank you for this video. I used it to clean my fan blades and it's running much quieter now. 🎉

I put some "oil" in that area at 04:55. Still has some noise but i think it's less. 🤷♂
To remove the black bottom plate and access the power cord disconnect you need to unscrew the four screws hidden underneath the smaller rubber feet
