The super hero I'm currently making a comic on is called Blocky. Blocky is a block who is always getting put in a convenient spot that makes him look like a hero. Eventually his super smart friend makes him a robot suit that has many features , like robot arms, floating and becoming a boomerang. He can also combine abilities, like flight and guns. Blocky ends up being very popular than the blocks that bully him and he gets a magical dinosaur pet that makes him grow legs so now he's really powerful. Soon aliens come and blocky beats them up, but then that causes a war, but it turns out that the main bully is working with the aliens. It is crazy
I've been working on a whole universe for the last 7 years! It's good to know there's a community out there supporting us all being our own Marvel/DC. I technically created my first character when I was in first or second grade, and you reminded me of them! Thank you for all you do!
As an person who never was good at drawing or put effort into it i loved making story which most of are about witches and wizards i threw it away bc i never was going to make 4 years and im now 11 making another story which i will never see again i guess
@@The0fficialGDCy6erwav3 don't do it expecting any kind of success or reward...do it to bring your creations into being!! Let em see the light of day, breathe the air..try the bread...do it to accomplish it for YOURSELF and you'll be more satisfied than you think!!
I came up with a lot a characters too and keep doing what you’re doing and thanks for leaving this comment , I hope your fiction amount to a the success you want it to and what are their powers and capabilities ? I want to make a group of Speedster characters and more but what about you ?
I’m working on developing my original characters (as I’ve mentioned in one of your Bullet-boy shorts), and your video here is giving me a lot of think about on the development of my own characters.
@@XanderFlicks how to world build? That’s what I’m saying. I’m creating my own superhero universe to put all my heroes in. I’m calling at the MVU, Maximum Voltage Universe, because of the name of my studio, and TH-cam channel. I say you should create your own universe and place your heroes in that, you don’t need Marvel.
I do something similar but instead I have a long encyclopedia of all my characters and somewhat big 'events' I've made in my universe. I'm not good at actually making the comic, just some worldbuilding.@@Iron_S
For starters, I'm 54 years old. I've been a Marvel fan my entire life and I was crushed when Stann died. At one time in my comic-book history I got hooked on Image comics and Pitt along with Gen-13 and Youngblood. I had this idea of a kid in a sort of 1920's setting who gains supper powers from being exposed to a meteor that crashes on their farm. His abilities allow him to create up to four telekinetic arms that are semi transparent and have super strength and can stretch. The idea was because at the time slavery was real and he and his parents was owned by a slaver who found out about his powers and tried to make him use them to do bad things and eventually he said no when he found out about the things he was doing were hurting other people, so he ran away and freed all the owner's slaves too. Of course there's much more to it but you get the drift. Eventually he meets other kids with powers and they become the first super hero team. The only thing is I never gave him a super hero name because in those days names were sort of given to you via the deeds you've done.
I'm glad I'm not the only one with this experience lol I animate my old comics but with their old designs. I should probably try redesigning them like this. You made him look so cool!
Definitely inspiring! Lyre (pronounced lie-ree) was created in 1999. Final script composed in 2014, self-published on Amazon in 2016, so I can totally relate :) ... love your channel!
I used to have this superhero named "Red X" for a while which was basically just me in an iron man suit. I later found out that "Red X" was a DC antihero? Supervillain? It's not clear to me at least. Anyway, for a little while I've been rewriting his origin and his whole story and this video kinda inspired me to potentially make it into a graphic novel. Thank you fellow Xander (my name is also Xander)
When I was a kid, me and my younger cousin created a whole universe of superheroes in a day. I was 8 or 9 and he was 6. I continued to draw them and develop them over the years, even incorporating them in various assignments in school. I still think about pitching them to a big company or developing them more just for fun
Thanks for not giving up on doing something with those fictional characters and stories you and him put together ! I’m sorta the same way but I’m very sad right now and depressed because mine won’t be the success I want it to be !
Crazy how so many of use were inspired by Spider-Man to make our own heroes. I was once making a Batman fan comic for my best friend for his birthday when my mother suggested instead of making a comic of a pre-established character if I got really creative and made my own. So I did. And EX3 (Experiment 3) was created, very much visually inspired by Spider-Man, at least in the eyes and rhymy sounding name (Kyle Clay). And from there, for the next several years, I would make comics for him, having EX3 be part of a superhero team, fight a Thanos like threat (this was pre-Infinity War movie and I hadn't read the comic either), team broke up, superhero registration laws go in to effect, heroes return, etc. I created a whole world. I'd love to take these ideas and refine them and publish them one day. Being an adult sucks sometimes though, where can you find the time?
10-15 minutes a day goes a lot further than you think! It does suck,I grew up too...but kept my mind and "heart" for this stuff firmly at 17. Now that time isn't the free commodity it was? I jot down ideas, quick little reminders to go back to with just enough detail to spark the old memory banks, then any day I've done it,I'll block off 10-15 minutes to solidify said ideas or be honest enough with myself to accept it really isn't great/lifted by years of reading from something else/just regurgitating something that's never stuck. Once I get a nice amount, I consult my universe "bible" if you will and see how much of it is going to work in the context or really doesn't fit at least at this point, set it back for possible later use. My biggest setback right now is ARTISTS. 1) having several titles and original characters ready, it's ungodly expensive to attempt to get enough done for an initial presentation...huge money. 2) By having so much actual I.P. and content,I risk not picking the "right books to launch an expansive project" as I was told by several industry professionals. 3) The cost of self publishing is directly against the "little guy" in the game. And even if that fee magically went *POOF*.. there are so many titles from established companies on the racks that it's very easy to disappear among them IF you can get any space at all!! I wish you the best of luck...and hope to see one of us "little guys" take the medium by storm!!
I’m coming up with one of my characters called Han , he knows everything so he’s a Omniscient Being and he now looks like a doodle now and he was born into a polygamist family and I came up with a lot of names for his siblings like Hal , Hana , Hank , Harry , Havok , Harren , Hall , Harris , Haller , Hatchet , Hassey , Hamill , Hamir , Harroway , Harmon , Hassell , Hansen , Harper , Hayden , Harkins , Harmony , Harpo , Harker , Hakonnen , Hayek , Hackman , Haas , Harbour , Hamblin , Haraway , Hamor , Hazell , Halm , Hagerty , Hawat , Hadden , Hathaway , Hanzo , Hayter , Hagen , Hannity , Harrow , Hauff , Hane , Haynes and more , he also has a daughter by his ex called Hanin and she is named after his sister , he married two different woman because he is a polygamist because it’s legal in their world !
Yeah, it reminds me of a character I have now called Ninja Bunny, he has also gone through many stages in his design, in fact I drew his head for my profile picture.
@@nickmilano2516Considering how far Deadpool made it as an admitted outright Spider-Man knockoff, I don’t see how that’s a problem 😂. Especially now when there’s Superman clones everywhere.
I remember when I was in year 3, we did the topic of superheroes. Really, it was all about natural disasters, but the fun of it was creating a superhero to fight the natural disaster. I created "Reflective Guy" and I was really proud of the name because it didn't sound like any other superhero like Something-Man or Super-Something. His main powers were flight, and being able to absorb and reflect energy and opposite energy from his chest. His origin was this: Jones was a blind boy who enjoyed playing with his best friend Jack (I was probably inspired by someone's Jack & Jones shirt!) One day, he was playing with Jack and his dad brought home a mirror which later turned out to be magic. He ran into the mirror and it smashed on him. He turned into a superhero! Jack became jealous of this and turned into his arch enemy (who didn't appear to have a memorable name) and controlled all natural disasters alongside his pet monkey. One part of this project was making a superhero suit. We designed it on Marvel Create Your Own Superhero (which I'm sad to say is no longer), and Reflective Guy looked like the stereotypical Superman with gloves, and a Wolverine-esque mask. The teacher I had, had bought some Lego for the school, and I regularly attended Lego club. We would make scenes from our superhero stories and use the school iPads to animate them. There wasn't enough iPads to go around the whole class, so we did it in groups and I was disappointed that my story wasn't chosen in the group because I was really looking forward to making him walk into the mirror.
I commented on one of your shorts about Bullet-Boy and I wanted to say thank you for sharing these! This is really cool and interesting! Seeing this video inspired me to redesign my own superhero from my old comics!
I definitely want to make more videos like these! I hoped sharing my experience would help people revisit their own creations. I have a lot of fun with it!
my word of advice. Companies don't accept unsolicitied ideas from people outside of the company. You want to make bullet boy a reality. Best to work within the company to give the hero a shot at this.
For a while I’ve thought of ideas of making a comic with myself as the hero, but never got drawing. You’ve made me wanna create my own superhero story and sell the comics with some help from a relative writer.
Me and my friend, came up with our own superhero universe when we were 6. I don't remember names of superheroes but mine superhero, was a water themed (he was like a humanoid fish- amphibian mutant) and his was fire themed (he was like a buff man with flame throwers). I can barely remember other superheros, but I can remember an electricity themed one, a plant themed one, a cyborg themed one and a comic relief technician character. We came up with cool (very edgy) villains, gadgets, mobiles and even other superhero teams. We made comics about them, cards with them. We were creative as kids.
Your work is so awesome and your story is really encouraging! I also grew up making my own super heroes and am now working on nailing down a style and story for them.
Hey Xander! On a Christmas many years ago I got a marveld theme sketch book. I spent my entire night drawing in that thing. But on the first page I came up with a superhero that I found to be my favorite! Captain Cosmos (Mathew Green) was taking a hike one day on a mountain to enjoy the view. He looked up at the sky and observed a purple, pink, and orange orb (in the shape of a metor) bolting straight his way. It crashed into the mountain giving him powers of the ancient creators. His powers included: Flight Cosmic beams Black hole sections Sun rays Multiplying Freezing Red tornados (Jupiter) Speed Eternal life Time travel (later) Matter creation Matter destruction And many more... His main nemesis is a villain called Oblivian who has dark and anti matter powers. I don't know if his origin stars him as a teenager, but there's alot of those. I hope you like my hero!
It's been centuries... Why now? Why now that I'm old? Where where you when I was young? I kid. It is nice to see you return, after these long 14,783 years :)
Blue beetle looking suit+kid flash hair and superspeed. But haven't heard that backstory before! And with how many superheroes are out there, I'm pretty sure there's one like it, I just can't think of which. Good potential though! I think that the only reason why Marvel didn't accept it was because none of Bullet-Boy's parents died 😂
Wish we lived in the same town and could meet. I got inspired back in 2019 to create my own superheroes and villains and a unique world they inhabit. I was just watching tv not thinking of anything in particular but all the sudden a word popped into my head. Then I thought of the word as a name, then as a character, and before I knew it, I found myself with an unexplainable desire to put what came into my head on paper. I was drawing characters, writing ideas and stories that just came to my head like magic. For years I’ve made like 200 characters 100 heroes, dozens of villains and dozens of stories. So far I’ve only done that and made amateur drawings using a trick I learned in high school to compensate for my lack of art skills and copy rote my favorite hero I made. Now I’m going through life and trying to get a good job so I can have funding to make better progress on bringing my creations to life and become the next Stan Lee
When i was younger and saw batman under the red hood, i loved it so much that i made a villain and did art about him and managed to fit him into the DC timeline and I completely forgot about him until I randomly remembered him during this video
Really awesome to see you continuing to work on your character @XanderFlicks I have been creating characters for over a decade! And have about one thousand characters (heroes, villains, and sidekicks) there are many that I still love, and a large group that are plain silly, but I enjoy making this little universe. I would love to see what you would do with some of my characters, if you’re ever interested
Your story is really inspiring and this video made me work back again on my superhero after a year of not doing it thank you man, and keep the good up the work! :)
@@JaveryBronson so like when I was 12 I got really inspired by Spiderman and I remembered I literally saw like everything the movies the shows and like facts about the characters their bio etc and it kind of motivated me to create my own and I know this is going to come out as embarrassing but I remember my superhero design being the exact same as the Ryan's world since I used to like that when I was a kid but since I got more mature I started to make it more funny and more serious like Spiderman I actually have a lot more to say but that's just like a brief summary
This video hits so close to home. Bullet boy is an awesome character his costume is amazing and hopefully you can create a web series for the character like what I plan to do with my characters.
@@JaveryBronson I call the character Markus for his real name and his codename is the Hood he's the hybrid son of an alien superhero I call Alpha he's like a combination of Miles Morales and invincible I'm working on a film for my channel to launch the series.
I actually made a Spider-person before. He’s called the Molten-Spider. He has all the same powers as Spider-Man, but he has fire powers. But it uses up some of his energy. He can use it to super jump, glide, and spin Flaming Webs. If he gets mad enough, the fire turns blue and it makes him a lot more powerful. His name is Cole, and he has the same amount of luck as Peter, and is in high school. Still figuring out the suit tho.
if this character was canon there would also be an air spider, water spider, and earth spider. the avatar spider can master the power of all these spider people
As soon as I heard the name, "Bullet Boy", this was relatable. Quite the coincidence, but I also created my own superhero, and guess what I also called him? Anyways, he basically has the same supernatural abilities as your character, but the character design was much different. I swear dude, this has gotta be one of the funniest things I have ever seen in my entire life. Someone who finally understands my mind lol. :)
I made a book when I was 10 called "Atlanta" and I made it about a group of nine people with the nicknames Blade, The Revenger, Genesis, Nova, Hellfrost, Starfire, Tempest, North Star and Quasar. They're basically like The Justice League (I loved DC a lot when I was younger and I still do) so I tried to make it very DC themed, and yeah, that's my superhero comic.
Oh, I had a similar super-hero, a speedster named Zoetrope! Well, not really a speedster, she could spin parts of her body at speeds reaching 100 miles per hour. Most applications of the ability would be spinning her feet like wheels, spinning her hands like drills, and spinning her hands to open pickle jars.
Me too , I came up with or just want to make a fictional universe about a group of Speedsters , a Superman like character , a character that can grant wishes , an alien race that can give powers to others , a man who knows everything and more ! I hope you’re web series turns out to be whatever you plan for it to amount to !
I made an anti hero main character that goes by Hypnos, named after his mind control, illusion inducing powers. Hypnos is the leader of his small covert team that try to solve problems they start. Hypnos is a ghost possessing a robot built to be as similar to alive he could get. The “ blood “ is blue and conducts electricity which is a shame when your spine is metal. He tries to avoid physical confrontations and the only one able to force one was his arch nemesis, Blank. If he wasn’t in his base with all his gadgets and weapons he would’ve died, again.
That's a unique superpower/skill combination! I love those. Your evolution is inspiring. I have a kid called *'Flying Kick', whose only power is flight.* In a world where lots of heroes could fly, it was considered a side power for moving around and little more. Super strength? Energy projection? Those were the things that won battles and saved lives, but what could a hero do with flight alone? His first attempt at superhero work went horribly, resulting in a broken leg. Obviously, he couldn't keep it from his parents, who gave him pretty much the opposite of an empowering speech. _"You don't have great power. You have no responsibilities. It's okay to just be a kid, at least for now. You have your whole life to figure out what you want to be. Heroes don't have to have powers, but people with powers don't have to be heroes. They don't have to be villains either. Most people are just ... people."_ However, when his parents disappeared, they left behind training simulation tech that allows supers to hone their abilities in realistic scenarios without the threat of death. Training like crazy, he mastered the art of battle flight. Imagine aerial kickboxing and taekwondo; mixing flight with your every action. Your moves don't have to make sense anymore. You control the flow of your motion. Your legs don't limit how fast you can run. Your jumps don't have to follow the path of gravity and momentum. Your attacks don't need leverage. They can come from any direction and change course on a whim (heat-seeking kicks). You can keep fighting when you're upside down or sideways. You don't have to scramble to your feet when you're knocked down. You can just fly. That was him. The air was his playing field. When he jumped into action, no movement was wasted. Despite all that athletic training, he was still a weakling in a world of powerhouses. He needed goggles to fly quickly, but had to watch his speed nonetheless or the air resistance would mess him up anyway. He couldn't make turns too suddenly, or the whiplash would wreck him. The boy had to maximise every advantage he had. He relied on his kicks, since punches were weaker, and used metallic shoes to add a bit more kick to his ... well ... kicks. He trained his flight reflexes to roll with attacks so that it was hard to get a direct hit on him, and learnt to slow down before splatting against surfaces if anything threw him back. Every adventure was a battle against his limits as he faced emotional pressure and injuries no kid should have to deal with If you thought Peter Parker's life was tough, this boy was basically an orphan who tried to carry on without his parents and keep his friends, teachers and landlord from realising they were gone until he could find them. Simple things like getting food and paying bills without raising suspicion became an increasing challenge for him. People slowly found out. He lost the apartment and moved into his parents lab. Without the power bill being paid, even the lab and its backup generator ran out of juice. He bounced between friends, but that couldn't last long. He tried to make honest money using his abilities, but that was tricky with reputable people being hesitant to give odd jobs to a minor, and less reputable people sometimes trying to take advantage of this 'weak' super being. In his country, there is no law against supers, but people with powers are either pressured to join a villain team, or join the authorities for protection (which is by design). Much to his shame, he compromised his morals in some ways such as stealing food, or forging his parents' signatures. He often went into battle on an empty stomach. Nonetheless, he kept going and tried to be the best hero (and person) he could in those circumstances, until finally ...

I love this video!! I have been watching your shorts about him off and on, and have been really obsessed with redesigning my own characters! I have made hundreds of characters, essentially making my own universe, and when I saw this video, I told myself, "I should do this". Then you told me that marvel has a policy or something 😅
Well Done!!, man! I love when people try out, like in your case to design a superhero and you make real steps to make that a reality. More power to ya! Excellent stuff!
I’m working on a super hero thing rn lol, I think it’s super cool how you bring back ur old ideas and bring them back to life, you inspired me to do the same with my old characters!!
I have a superhero named Grapple Man, his names is just how it sounds, a man using grapples to save he city from doom. He is not like other hero’s as he reveals his identity all the time, he loves being a Good Samaritan and is apart of the alliance of heroes and is just a smart guy overall, hope ya’ll like it
Bro, if you publish this by yourself, no joke, I would read it. As a kid, I always wanted to write comics and create characters for marvel as well, I really want to get into skillshare just to learn the complexities of writing comics. Just to make my own comic book universe if not to sell then just for fun & I like to see others who like to do work like that for fun as well.

I had a super hero that I made named shadow, I didn’t learn that there was a hedgehog named shadow until a couple years after I made him, but I stuck with it. He is similar to bullet boy but is different in many ways, he’s like a mix of the flash, iron man, and spider man. He has super speed, amazing intellect, and has a suit that keeps his molecules stable while travelling through time and different dimensions. He’s had cross overs with not just my friend’s heroes, but actual, more popular superheroes known by everyone, and I even had a event in my comics that are kinda like across the spider verse and endgame, and since I created my hero at a time when fortnite was popular, I based the comics around shadow keeping the zero point out of the wrong hands, and I called my little comic event “countdown to zero” indicating that things were going to get way worse, until the final battle, showing that the more the countdown ticks down, the worse the multiverse is going to collapse, and shadow needed help from many heroes from different dimensions across the multiverse. Shadow’s team wins the battle, but shadow sacrifices himself in order to stop the big bad of the series and save the multiverse from collapsing in on itself. And like always, bro SOMEHOW survives, and after everything that happened in those events, bro is DEFINITELY on 2099’s radar 😂😅
My guys named Jacolantern, his real name being Bob Schmucks. He starts out at 16 and his powers consist of laser vision super strength speed and flight, being doing a lot of redesigning and rewriting for him, I’m happy to hear you and other people are just like me.
Yes, I've had a lot of characters but the main inspiration for my own super hero is inspired by Spider-Man, Batman, Green Lantern, Indiana Jones, Zoro, Westley The Dread Pirate Roberts, Captain Jack Sparrow, Robin, Captain America, Iron Man, & Power Rangers.
I went through the same process, (except the shipping to Marvel part) and made my own Spider-Man inspired superhero called Quickstrike. They're power is a Symbiote and they work together to protect they're city, I'm even writing a Fanfic on him. It's just annoying having to write when you have a writers block. Sorry if I've explained this before
Same here, I made my own superhero comic when I was in middle school and when I got better at drawing I redesigned it. I hope to one day have my work shown and enjoyed by others.
So I do have some stuff about my super hero named Kronos, Kronos is currently a 15 year old boy that goes to the school named owl high, that the name of the team. So yeah, Kronos’s real name is Austin parks. ( how he got his suit and powers. Austin got his powers from this relic called the amulet. He kinda stole it from the museum and well… it was cause of curiosity. So yeah the alarm went off but the guards did not see who it was cause the cameras don’t work so yeah. So the amulet can open up where the core is and then a particles of neonates come out and turn into a suit. ( his gadgets) Kronos/Austin has some gadgets that help him a lot in battles, like first his grapple that can hook on to buildings and stick because they also have suction cups on it to stick on to stuff. And his grapple can wrap around people and electrocute them. Also he has a wing suit that helps him glide around brook city. ( his powers ) Kronos/Austin has an energy blast and energy punches that can hurt but not kill people. So yeah that’s my hero!
The MCU was inspired by bullet boy when they were making Avengers: age of Ultron it's basically the scene where quicksilver died using his body to protect Hawkeye.
This is awesome, Bullet Boy really gave me the inspiration to create my own superhero based on the folktale of my region, and I decide that idea to create "Punai,Bird Of Spectrum" or just Punai for short (if you read his name it's kinda sounds like the word harpoon without the word harp + eye) Punai means green pigeon but many people also said that it's more like a rainbow than just green,And for the origin story of the punai bird according to folktales in my place, I guess the story sounds like this: "There was a young man who married a princess from the sky who had a shawl representing one of the colors of the rainbow. One day, his wife found her rainbow-colored flying shawl that had been taken by her husband, With her flying shawl, she returned home to the sky. But before going home, she told her husband that if their young daughter was crying to breastfeed she will come to breastfeed her. "However, you must never approach or touch me." One day, his wife came to breastfeed her daughter and she also goes along with her six sisters. Because her husband really missed her the husband couldn't help coming closer and touching his wife. So suddenly his beautiful wife turned into a punai bird. Likewise, her six other siblings also turned into punai birds that had colors like a rainbow and flew away from her husband" This story is about keeping a promise, so I made my own superhero based on Punai with a little bit of touch of Ben 10 Here is his origin:Punai is actually a Traveller names Langit who promised to his sister that he would find the medicine for her mysterious disease,he then travels around the world but he's too late and his sister transform into a bird like spirit with 7 colorful wings just like a rainbow and about to attack Langit but one of the souvenir,a bracelet that he got during his adventure suddenly attached itself to Langit's hand and seal his sister in it,this bracelet then allow him to transform into armored heroes that he dubbed "Punai" based on the legendary rainbow bird and in this form Langit is able to talk with his sister and during her rampage she saw a vision of a place above the sky with winged people that could help her,Langit and his sister then start their own adventure as Punai, the Bird Of Spectrum Punai's power is based on Rainbowman, the first tokusatsu series which introduces the term "form change", so in Punai's case just like Rainbowman he can transform into 7 different forms with 7 different abilites by selecting the form he wants to use using the bracelet that now he dubbed as "the Spectrum Changer" each form got it's own unique weapons and each form is based on different civilization/history,so here is his form -Alpha Fighter: the white fighter form and Punai's main form, based on the Martial arts of Indonesia like Pencak Silat, etc. This form doesn't have any weapon but he has the ability to manipulate energy that he can use for different things like enhancing his other abilities, detect other people's energy & read their intentions, use energy based attac like covered his fist with energy or create some energy blast from his hands Goku style -Delta Magnum:this form is based on cowboy and Punai's armor change color to red, this form main ability is enhancing his accuracy and Punai is equiped with twin magnum,he also has the ability to convert his magnum energy blast into fire blast and he also can manipulate the trajectory of anything that he shoot/throw or any object that coming toward him -Psi Pharaoh:This purple pharaoh form is based on ancient Egypt,Punai became a master of Illusion with this form since he gains magic staff that he can use to crete illusion and he also can fight withouth his staff since he also able to create shadow figure like stand from Jojo that will help him in battle -Beta Viking:the strongest form in Punai's main arsenal based on strength, this blue form is based on Viking and in this form Punai's strength is increased so he's able to deal huge damage to his enemy using his giant axe,he also got the power to generate ice gas from his hand that he can use to freeze his enemy -Sigma Shinobi:The green form that based on Japanese Sengoku era & Ninja, this form Punai's speed is increased that allow him to run at high speed making this form become very useful when facing enemies with super speed,he also can create clones and creating air slash using his twin katana -Gamma Aegis:While Beta Viking is the strongest in terms of strength this Yellow form is the strongest in terms of defense, based on the Spartan Warrior & wielding giant shield that also combined with spear this form allows Punai to create forcefield that he can use to protect himself from attack,he also can absorb earth or other mineral as additional armor just like Kevin in Ben 10 -Kappa Bounty:based on Pirates, this orange form allows Punai to breath underwater and swimming at high speed,he also equiped with hook hand that also act as a grappling hook and Punai can use it to swing around or to prevent his enemies from running away,in this form he also able to shape water into any kind of weapon that he can use during battle I also planned to give him his own hero team based on different folktales in Indonesia just like The Avengers, but we'll see later and that's all for Punai,Bird of Spectrum I hope you guys like it and I also planned to post Punai's design on my instragram in @trainerjames_fakemon 😁👍

i never designed superheroes as a kid but i am planing to now,i was mostly inspired by the boys and now by peacemaker and the deadpool trilogy. I think bullet-boy is a fun design and concept and i like his new outfit you gave him
I have several original heroes and villains, my favorite amongst them is Morpholemu (Morph for short), also based on Marvel, but rather than Spidey he was more in the X man neighborhood, his origin is he comes from a future where mutants are far more common, but he was treated like crap there as his mutant abilities seemed pretty worthless, they gave him a slime based body, transparent and sleek, one of his bullies had time manipulation abilities and used them to mess with Morph. But one day an actual criminal with an ability so supercharge abilities came to recruit the bully and the moment they made contact with him a time bubble formed and all three of them got sent back to present day. Morph freaked out and tackled him wanting to go home and feeling that they weren’t in the area only for this crook to knock Morph out and leave with his new recruit… unbeknownst to bully or criminal, getting knocked out was a blessing for Morph as his ability was also supercharged and that charge unlocked its full potential. His mutant abilities fully unlocked and they were Shapeshifting and Mimicry of powers (not like rouge who takes powers), he can change his form on command and wields an arcenal of other peoples abilities, tho his copies aren’t as strong as the others originals, but by mixing and matching powers along with his own he becomes a threat unlike any other. Sadly this idea begins and ends in my head as my artistic ability is near zero, I picture him as a rounded slime humanoid who’s default color is faded Red but like an old school mood ring it changes to match what he’s feeling, Red being a default is cuz back then I saw a faint Blush as a sign of happiness and I made him with a happy mentality
When i was little i was OBSESSED with coming up with super heroes with my sisters. At one point I had a character named Cardinal Girl, who's whole thing was that she could talk to cardinals. Not birds in general mind you, but specifically cardinals. Her sidekicks were this kid with robotic limbs and Mouse Girl who, believe it or not, could talk to mice.
I had a superhero idea from middle school through highschool, I could never decide on a name but he had street wear, sleeveless zipped jacked with a white t-shirt and some grey jeans. He had white hair in kind of the same way you had yours. His power was to control matter but the way it was gonna be used was gonna feel more like earth bending to a very complex degree using chains as a weapon to use with his abilities. It was some of the coolest ideas to me and it’s cool to see others
I, a thirteen year old boy, made the most depressing character in history. This boy born in 1978 was chubby, skittish kid living in south Texas. He did not like the way he was and hated himself in every way. While his family didn’t care, bullies and people at school did. So he enlisted himself into the army, hoping to fix himself up and become a man, lying about his age. When he enlisted, they found him completely useless and turned him into a dummy, testing out different serum’s, making him do all types of things, turning him into a project, and some peoples even SA’ing him. Eventually whenever he becomes so mutated that his body will fight and kill any serum or experiment they use they use him as a guard dog for mutants. Eventually, they free him, only to find out that they killed each and one of his family members, even cousins who didn’t even know him. Keep in mind, he enlisted at 13, HE’S ALMOST A HUBDRED YEARS WHEN HE IS RELEASED! So, while his body is literally perfect in every way he hates himself and uses his hatred towards the nitro corp (the company who did all this to him) and this body was not his. This characters powers include; Two semi long wolverine style blades, two for each hand, with ridges and werewolf like claws. He has a crazy regeneration, being able to regenerate memories because why not. Super senses Weaknesses; The Nitro serum
I was making different teenage superhero characters when I was 12-13 (I'm 20 now), and always wrote it down in a word document, hoping that sometime I can make comics about them. A year ago I found them, and started working on them again (Rewriting some stuff). I'm planning to actually write ongoing comics about them. This video inspired me to do it. Thanks :D
When I was i kid I used to love the stick war games and it made me think what if I made a whole lore about the Stick Empire I worked on it for years but coudnt really think of a real storyline at that time, but watching your video made me realise there's no 'too late' for creating my own characters and storylines so I got back into that project! thanks brother
Meet morph man Kyle wasn’t just a normal kid, his father john Was a great scientist trying to create a super suit that could help humanity But soon kyle’s dad gets killed he soon finds out What his dad was working on and accidentally he tripped onto a lever which turned on the alarm. He then decided to Try and turn it of but then he gets electrified In the test room. He soon then hears the police siren and decides to try out his new powers Against BLAZE. Blaze is a villain with powers of fire and morph man has to stop him from getting trigger happy and burning down the city. I hope this can interest you!👍🏼
Your story makes me want someone out there to collect original superhero characters from supporters and make a hero world of their own with their hero being one of the main characters ofcourse.
Really love your super hero redesign for Bullet boy and it inspires me to be able to draw my design for my own super hero character concept. Which atm is just various images of pieces of his suit I found to eventually use as reference.
ive been doing a lot of superhero comics since 3rd grade (started with stickmen because i never had a real marvel/dc comic before), and i even somehow made a mcu-ish universe one time by combining all my characters i got inspired by that again in high school and started trying to make a real, genuine superhero (because i used to only do superman knock offs but theyre still sort of popular back in elementary) i finished writing my first superhero this year, with a cohesive origin, a character with personalities and friends, and actual unique designs this made me remember why doing this is fun, and i appreciate that
I actually made my own superhero it was pretty dumb now that I think about it, but I made an entire series of books for him. His name is “Super Balloon Boy”! His backstory is how he got trapped in a balloon factory, and while he was trapped there, he inhaled special helium, which gave him powers to control the balloon’s material and form. The character’s suit that originally inspired me was polkadot man from the DC universe.
I actually really like the idea you had that this is a replacement for spider man, instead of just drawing someone that looks suspiciously like spider man and ignoring the obvious
Rocky, an accidental shield agent which was created using extremis, the super soldier serum and a teeny bit if banners blood mixed with blood of a deceased shield agent
I had my own comic character too! His name was “The Trailblazer” that could burn down anything in his fiery trail and could charge up a row of blue flames.
I'm also working on a superhero comic. I can't say much but it will be about a superhero with electrical powers called máximo and the league of heroes (Yes, I already know, It's a very unoriginal name) The only team of superheroes that exists at the moment created by the F.D.G (Global Defense Force) a government organization in charge of super humans. Máximo and the league of heroes face all kinds of threats: Super villains, Mad scientists, Mafia bosses, Sorcerers, Alien invaders and even kaijus. I hope to be able to advance more in the future with this universe that I am creating just like you xander 😉👌❤
I used to comics as a kid I draw superhero comics and make my own superhero team and making villains were based on cartoons, horror movies, anime, and other stuff. Thanks for bringing it up to me XanderFlicks
You and me both, man! As a little kid, I didn't know about the avengers, the x men, the fantastic 4, or any of those other marvel superheroes. The only one that always interested me and that's always been my favorite, and still is my most favourite to this day is spiderman! ❤🕷🕸 That's a really cool superhero btw!
I think the first iteration of bullet boy you made would be the prototype as a teenager, and this new rendition of him is as a young adult with the flaws of past suits buffed out.
I personally think its ridiculously cool that you've stuck with BULLET BOY. Its a solid concept, not derivative of anything that comes directly to mind and appears to be more towards what the medium was kinda created for ..ya know, kids looking up to larger than life figures for doing what is right...great power and responsibility...the good stuff. Im also a guy thats created myriad characters, heroes and villains, over the years, but nothing was really very good and after an entire portfolio with 15 years work was destroyed, ive rarely picked up a pencil. But...I HAVE continued to create. I've got an entire UNIVERSE that's very VERY loosely based on... well, something that while having comic CONNECTIONS,LOTS of them actually, Isn't anything like the aforementioned connections in any fashion besides the medium...and I've been asked by certain parties NOT to publicly speak on the idea as there may be an outlet for this in the near future..so I cant really elaborate on exactly what it is. I know, that was a lot. But it just goes to show...and I've always had this thought pattern...that SOME of us out there,we want to see these ideas done by a major publisher, not just work on existing properties. Don't get me wrong, it's probably AMAZING to work for Marvel or DC...but it's not really the same thing. Tons of people have done incredible work on AMAZING SPIDER MAN and DETECTIVE COMICS... even brought many new characters that have stood the test of time to the titles....still isn't IT for some of us. Man, I wish you massive success at some point and hope you CONTINUE to revisit, revise and refine your creation. You've definitely peaked my interest and dude...im 49, that's not an easy feat in the comic book world anymore. YOUR story is just as compelling.... KEEP SLINGING LEAD AND INK!!! Bob

It is crazy

I’m thinking of making more videos about the comic making process, and how to world build!

The design of his suit feels like it would genuinely be a marvel character

I used to have this superhero named "Red X" for a while which was basically just me in an iron man suit. I later found out that "Red X" was a DC antihero? Supervillain? It's not clear to me at least.

His powers included:
Flight
Cosmic beams
Black hole sections
Sun rays
Multiplying
Freezing
Red tornados (Jupiter)
Speed
Eternal life
Time travel (later)
Matter creation
Matter destruction
And many more...
His main nemesis is a villain called Oblivian who has dark and anti matter powers.
I don't know if his origin stars him as a teenager, but there's alot of those.
I hope you like my hero!
If you want you can use him and I can give you guys my design.

Damn
I also made superheroes in my head. But they don't have a story 😢
When i was younger and saw batman under the red hood, i loved it so much that i made a villain and did art about him and managed to fit him into the DC timeline and I completely forgot about him until I randomly remembered him during this video

I agree
Oh, I had a similar super-hero, a speedster named Zoetrope! Well, not really a speedster, she could spin parts of her body at speeds reaching 100 miles per hour. Most applications of the ability would be spinning her feet like wheels, spinning her hands like drills, and spinning her hands to open pickle jars.
I've been working on my own superhero universe too and this has been very useful and inspirational

Most people are just ... people."_
However, when his parents disappeared, they left behind training simulation tech that allows supers to hone their abilities in realistic scenarios without the threat of death.
Every adventure was a battle against his limits as he faced emotional pressure and injuries no kid should have to deal with
If you thought Peter Parker's life was tough, this boy was basically an orphan who tried to carry on without his parents and keep his friends, teachers and landlord from realising they were gone until he could find them.

This is Fire Man 🔥I also had a similar dream as a kid . I'm actually interested to see where you go with Bullet boy.💯
thanks! i hope to make more videos
Yo drelix I’m a fan

I’ll probably make more videos about making comics! I’m working on a couple right now, so it’ll be great experience to share

5:45 reminds me of blue bettle from DC not marvel
I went through the same process, (except the shipping to Marvel part) and made my own Spider-Man inspired superhero called Quickstrike. They're power is a Symbiote and they work together to protect they're city, I'm even writing a Fanfic on him. It's just annoying having to write when you have a writers block. Sorry if I've explained this before
"Let's do this one last time, I got shot by a radio active bullet and since then I was the one and only, bullet boy"
Pretty much lol
Same here, I made my own superhero comic when I was in middle school and when I got better at drawing I redesigned it. I hope to one day have my work shown and enjoyed by others.
0:36 so funny bruh
Ayoooo he's back!!!!!
The MCU was inspired by bullet boy when they were making Avengers: age of Ultron it's basically the scene where quicksilver died using his body to protect Hawkeye.

This is awesome, Bullet Boy really gave me the inspiration to create my own superhero based on the folktale of my region, and I decide that idea to create "Punai,Bird Of Spectrum" or just Punai for short (if you read his name it's kinda sounds like the word harpoon without the word harp + eye)
Punai means green pigeon but many people also said that it's more like a rainbow than just green,And for the origin story of the punai bird according to folktales in my place, I guess the story sounds like this:
"There was a young man who married a princess from the sky who had a shawl representing one of the colors of the rainbow. Likewise, her six other siblings also turned into punai birds that had colors like a rainbow and flew away from her husband"
This story is about keeping a promise, so I made my own superhero based on Punai with a little bit of touch of Ben 10
Here is his origin:Punai is actually a Traveller names Langit who promised to his sister that he would find the medicine for her mysterious disease,he then travels around the world but he's too late and his sister transform into a bird like spirit with 7 colorful wings just like a rainbow and about to attack Langit but one of the souvenir,a bracelet that he got during his adventure suddenly attached itself to Langit's hand and seal his sister in it,this bracelet then allow him to transform into armored heroes that he dubbed "Punai" based on the legendary rainbow bird and in this form Langit is able to talk with his sister and during her rampage she saw a vision of a place above the sky with winged people that could help her,Langit and his sister then start their own adventure as Punai, the Bird Of Spectrum
Punai's power is based on Rainbowman, the first tokusatsu series which introduces the term "form change", so in Punai's case just like Rainbowman he can transform into 7 different forms with 7 different abilites by selecting the form he wants to use using the bracelet that now he dubbed as "the Spectrum Changer" each form got it's own unique weapons and each form is based on different civilization/history,so here is his form
-Alpha Fighter: the white fighter form and Punai's main form, based on the Martial arts of Indonesia like Pencak Silat, etc. This form doesn't have any weapon but he has the ability to manipulate energy that he can use for different things like enhancing his other abilities, detect other people's energy & read their intentions, use energy based attac like covered his fist with energy or create some energy blast from his hands Goku style
-Delta Magnum:this form is based on cowboy and Punai's armor change color to red, this form main ability is enhancing his accuracy and Punai is equiped with twin magnum,he also has the ability to convert his magnum energy blast into fire blast and he also can manipulate the trajectory of anything that he shoot/throw or any object that coming toward him
-Psi Pharaoh:This purple pharaoh form is based on ancient Egypt,Punai became a master of Illusion with this form since he gains magic staff that he can use to crete illusion and he also can fight withouth his staff since he also able to create shadow figure like stand from Jojo that will help him in battle
-Beta Viking:the strongest form in Punai's main arsenal based on strength, this blue form is based on Viking and in this form Punai's strength is increased so he's able to deal huge damage to his enemy using his giant axe,he also got the power to generate ice gas from his hand that he can use to freeze his enemy
-Sigma Shinobi:The green form that based on Japanese Sengoku era & Ninja, this form Punai's speed is increased that allow him to run at high speed making this form become very useful when facing enemies with super speed,he also can create clones and creating air slash using his twin katana
-Gamma Aegis:While Beta Viking is the strongest in terms of strength this Yellow form is the strongest in terms of defense, based on the Spartan Warrior & wielding giant shield that also combined with spear this form allows Punai to create forcefield that he can use to protect himself from attack,he also can absorb earth or other mineral as additional armor just like Kevin in Ben 10
-Kappa Bounty:based on Pirates, this orange form allows Punai to breath underwater and swimming at high speed,he also equiped with hook hand that also act as a grappling hook and Punai can use it to swing around or to prevent his enemies from running away,in this form he also able to shape water into any kind of weapon that he can use during battle
I also planned to give him his own hero team based on different folktales in Indonesia just like The Avengers, but we'll see later and that's all for Punai,Bird of Spectrum I hope you guys like it and I also planned to post Punai's design on my instragram in @trainerjames_fakemon 😁👍

Not that I think anyone here would do it....and I'm stressing that, people who have commented seem to genuinely be creatives and sincere...NEVER,EVER POST YOUR ENTIRE STORY IDEA OR CHATACTER STUDIES ONLINE UNLESS YOU HAVE PROTECTION!!! Again,I DON'T THINK ANYONE HERE WOULD HURT YOU....but plenty of people troll the Internet LOOKING for anything they can put a claim to and profit from to either A) avoid putting in the work B) don't have the imagination or ability to conceive anything themselves.
Just a friendly bit of caution..I hope you can get your concept "off the ground"...pun intended...and see massive success!!!

i never designed superheroes as a kid but i am planing to now,i was mostly inspired by the boys and now by peacemaker and the deadpool trilogy. I think bullet-boy is a fun design and concept and i like his new outfit you gave him
Are you going to finish Ben 10 one last time?
It's on hiatus unfortunately. A lot of projects I'm busy with at the moment!
@@XanderFlicks oh ok
YOUR REPLYING TO COMMENTS ARE YOU STILL WORKING ON BEN 10 ONE LAST TIME PLYYYYYSSSSSSS

I have a story, do you want it?
Yes, please
This characters powers include;
Two semi long wolverine style blades, two for each hand, with ridges and werewolf like claws. He has a crazy regeneration, being able to regenerate memories because why not.
Super senses
Weaknesses;
The Nitro serum
Meet morph man
Kyle wasn’t just a normal kid, his father john Was a great scientist trying to create a super suit that could help humanity But soon kyle’s dad gets killed he soon finds out What his dad was working on and accidentally he tripped onto a lever which turned on the alarm.
Which atm is just various images of pieces of his suit I found to eventually use as reference.
ive been doing a lot of superhero comics since 3rd grade (started with stickmen because i never had a real marvel/dc comic before), and i even somehow made a mcu-ish universe one time by combining all my characters
i got inspired by that again in high school and started trying to make a real, genuine superhero (because i used to only do superman knock offs but theyre still sort of popular back in elementary)
i finished writing my first superhero this year, with a cohesive origin, a character with personalities and friends, and actual unique designs
this made me remember why doing this is fun, and i appreciate that
I actually made my own superhero it was pretty dumb now that I think about it, but I made an entire series of books for him. His name is “Super Balloon Boy”! His backstory is how he got trapped in a balloon factory, and while he was trapped there, he inhaled special helium, which gave him powers to control the balloon’s material and form. The character’s suit that originally inspired me was polkadot man from the DC universe.
NGL the origin is actually really good
I actually really like the idea you had that this is a replacement for spider man, instead of just drawing someone that looks suspiciously like spider man and ignoring the obvious
Rocky, an accidental shield agent which was created using extremis, the super soldier serum and a teeny bit if banners blood mixed with blood of a deceased shield agent
Bro you should team up with the creators of the subway surfer animated series and make an animated series about bullet boy I would totally love that
I had my own comic character too! His name was “The Trailblazer” that could burn down anything in his fiery trail and could charge up a row of blue flames.
Let’s go your back it’s been like months
Big-Up, Mi seh !...wishing Bullet Boy all the best !....maybe THE CAT will end up doing some work with him...if he comes to Jamaica.
I used to comics as a kid I draw superhero comics and make my own superhero team and making villains were based on cartoons, horror movies, anime, and other stuff. Thanks for bringing it up to me XanderFlicks
bullet boy is amazing keep on living the dream
I love this super-hero, I think its super cool!
You and me both, man! As a little kid, I didn't know about the avengers, the x men, the fantastic 4, or any of those other marvel superheroes. The only one that always interested me and that's always been my favorite, and still is my most favourite to this day is spiderman! ❤🕷🕸
That's a really cool superhero btw!
Bob
Maybe making a cinematic universe as mcu may take long but let's keep trying one day maybe our dreams can come true
