You really have the sense the author is very familiar with just how space-efficient sailboats need to be. This is a great-looking mod, and I love that it's a workshop, since I use CWSS, and always find it irritating when authors don't allow scrapping of whatever shower/bath they place in their mods. While I do like the Red Wave, I stopped using it, because the NPC that comes with it always steals the one available bunk, which is very annoying if you play on Survival, or something similar. Funnily enough, when I saw this pop up on Nexus, yesterday, I also saw somebody comment that they needed to inform a certain TH-camr who reviews FO4 and Skyrim housing mods; I knew immediately who they were referring to! 😎
I also switched red waves because of the absolute pest that is Tanner. The red wave 3, which Feb also showcased, has more docking points (but lacks the open ocean one), you can build up and have it look lot more homey, you're able to choose which flag to fly, down to little details like decor being added as you complete quests and questlines. I also became quite a fan of other small details like having it dock right by the diner at egret marina, instead of ways away from the actual settlement like red wave reloaded used to do. Sailboat abode is absolutely stellar as an interior, and that departure animation is like nothing else on the nexus, but RW3 remains the one id want to have in survival mode (as this one will only do a couple of coastal dockings and max at about bunker hill, RW3 instead will go as far north as mystic pines).
I love your channel so much, I often forget I am even watching video game content and just feel like I am watching someone give a real life tour of a home
What a stunning piece of work. This is well up to the standards of Elianora, my favourite Skyrim home builder. I love the ingenuity and the practicality of it, and best of all, its a boat!😊
In the Fallout setting, a home like this would work quite well, and what a home it is! Feels like somewhere that's very comfortable to live in, as well as convenient and safe.
true, if you live near rivers, lakes or coastal areas (or the 3 of them in some cases) and have a boat you could move from where you´re docked if the area becomes dangerous, and you could make good money as a trader and transporting cargo or even passengers

Just discovered this mod yesterday and it is absolutely fantastic! This mod is now a must have for my load order. If you play FO4 on survival mode, I think this mod keeps with the intent of the mode because the fast travel isn't an insta-teleport to that location, but you get a cut-scene (not pregenerated, but actually from your settlement where you can see what you've built things and your settlers, so you know it is genuinely your settlement you're sailing away from), so there is an explanation for your transportation and not just 'magic'. This traveling house really makes settlements unnecessary except as launching points for missions, so no more micromanaging of settlements and worrying about; attacks, happiness, building beds, food, water, entertainment, defenses, scrapping, building structures, etc. In a desolated land, it is far more likely that you would not spend all of your time and resources building up 30+ settlements and far more likely that you'd want to bring everything with you, so if you're tired of being a settlement manager, this is a great mod for you. When I first started using this mod, there were so many things I was thinking would be good to have and the author thought of them... - Bobblehead stand; found it eventually - Putting the covers back on and putting the cooking gear away, took me a few minutes but finally figured out how - Water generation (to make caps), figured it out finally - Power armor repair - I think that if the author had setup the shower to be a decontamination arch (removes rads) would be a cool feature The only thing I haven't seen (yet?) is a weapon display, although I suppose I could put my own racks on a wall, but there isn't much unused space. In that regard, it really is like a small boat, space is very efficiently used. The scripting on this mod is 'next level', and everything seems to work properly. I cannot say enough good things about this mod, even finding it and take ownership of it was great, immersive (not a 'quest' that just grants it to you, you have to find it, kill the surrounding badies and then figure out where the spare key is before everything starts working properly), it is just more realistic than getting gifted something so valuable because you did some fetch or assasination quest.
You have a really good voice for storytelling. It reminds me of BBC Radio or something alike. Maybe I am saying something stupid, but with your enthousiasm for small details and calmness you could persue a career in something like radio or television!
When the video started and you revealed the boat I was worried about storage. But... Holy crap Batman! The mod author has gone mad with the storage!!! For such a "restricted" space there appears to be about as much storage as most other player home mods. Wow!

This one looks like it was put together by a person who has actually spent time on a smaller vessel. No wasted space and spaces set up to do multi duty. Some good thought into the docking situations in many places. That alone is worth the price of admission. Yes fast travel has taken away the need for travel mods but being able to bring along your home and enjoy the idea of travelling from place to place even if it is only fast travel on steroids is darned cool. Perhaps a bit more immersive too for folks who like to get places without walking but don't want to just poof from place to place without justifying how the heck they got there.

To be frank you have a real talent for finding and featuring genious mods from genius modders which is why we all love you so. With this one in particular I appreciate that I can get up in the morning and make a quick coffee on my way to visit the well armoured bad guy who tried sneaking up on me in the night not realizing that I leave the super magnet floor stand on as a matter of principle and entertainment. I will either find some slightly used armour I can flog at the market or a slightly used armour wearer who I can just flog.
I am waiting for Fallout: London to come out before I go back to playing Fallout 4, But I wish someone would make mods for that compatible, especially this one. Also, the mod author HAS thought about compatibility with other mods, as at Croup Manor, the Red Wave docks just below the mansion. Good idea to offset the sailboat from there.
