Curious, did the 2228 come with the pick guard or did you buy it somewhere, also what pickups did you have in it before with the white neck

I made this pickguard from scratch, my old pickups were Lundgren M8 and Dimarzio Ionizer (neck)

Is that a custom? I know the old RG2228 (sans pickguard), but I don't think I've ever seen an 8-string Ibby with a trem.

No, this is a serial model, it comes all black with emg pickups from the factory and has this fixed Floyd rose style bridge. I bought this guitar used, with changed pickups, and made the pickguard.

It’s not a trem. It’s a modified edge iii “trem” made into a double locking hard tail. I only have to tune mine when I change strings lol
