- Join us on this trip to Walt Disney World's EPCOT for a new series, where we take a closer look at each of the pavilions in World Showcase! In today's vid we start with an in depth look at the UK Pavilion. We take a look at the food locations, gift shops, and bars within this area of the World Showcase. We also saw the Alice in Wonderland character meet and greet! This UK pavilion has so much to see and we even saw things that were new to us! Each land is so massive though compared to these countries in World Showcase. If he did them in depth it would theoretically take several videos for each land me thinks. :D

They are both the same.
Disneyland and it's not even close.
There is no way Disneyland can complete because of one simple reason: space. Disneyland has just about tapped out. The only way they can add new lands is by taking down other ones (ie bugs land into Marvel land). Plus, they have to limit the size of whatever they build, so it will pale in comparison to what Disney world can do with the same land (Star Wars land). Disney world can do whatever they want without restrictions!

The only thing I dislike about the 'UK' pavillion is that it's mostly just an England pavillion, well mostly London. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland aren't really represented there... Considering there's the Brave movie that they could incorporate for Scotland. Just a little pet peeve of mine.

Maybe it is the England pavillion, not the UK. The pavilions are supposed to represent a country and Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland and Mary Poppins are all English. Just a thought.

A little detail missed in the UK pavilion by the imaginears, The "restroom" signs should say "toilets".. No mushy peas in the "fish" shop? , which should be called a "chippy"...

They have mushy peas as an a la carte side at the Rose and Crown. I am sure you can get it at the little to-go stand if you ask. :)

This pavilion is my favorite one! There's a really fun Agent P mission there and you get a free tea sample from Twinings as part of it! I can't wait to go back.
When my daughter and I were at Disney World for the flower and garden 2018 we did eat at the Rose and Crown and saw illuminations and the food was awesome and sowas the show. I had a very nice steak that came with their stuffed Yorkshire pudding and my daughter had the curry dish. It was wonderful can’t wait to return.
The fish & chips from the UK pavilion is my favorite snack stop in all of Disney... and we love that little side entrance to Epcot. We stay at Boardwalk and love how it's just a short walk to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Makes it really easy to see Illuminations and then it's a just a quiet and relaxing walk back to the resort.
Yes, I was there back in 2015 and I saw Winnie and Tigger in that back room. They were rocking out to the band when the were singing Queen.

😁 I was just in Epcot two weeks ago. We had fish and chips and we cracked up bc the families all around us were from England.. in the UK pavilion.. eating fish & chips & drinking harp. They were delightful :)

Look, Magic Kingdom's Main Street and many other places in Disney World are romanticized simplified versions of the US so don't be so surprised that the UK pavilion follows suit, heh.
Yes, we Americans all live in quaint little towns that have quaint little main streets and have cute little ice cream parlors on the corners, haha. The Starbucks being everywhere is true though.

I live in a town with a quaint little main street, around the town square that has a cannon. There's no Starbucks though.

I would love to see you eat and do a review of the food at The Rose and Crown! I’ve never eaten there myself but as someone from the UK i’d love to see how accurate their dishes are!
Last year my sister and I were looking into the Christopher Robbins room and a cast member came over and asked if we wanted to go in! It was so magical, I’ll never forget that day.
Absolutely love this video being from the UK. Great to see a reference to Wales in the rose and crown menu as we usually get forgotten!
The UK pavilion is my old workplace (I worked in the Rose & Crown) so I loved this video! I wish I’d been vlogging back when I worked out in WDW 😩

I thought those areas pointed out were now fast pass areas for illuminations. I definitely could be wrong.
It wasn’t a FP area when I was there in September - not sure if it’s changed since then though!

The uk pavilion is my favourite I have spent the last 13 birthdays eating fish and chips in honour of my grandad because he was born in England and I started the tradition when I was six years old and I will be turning 21 this year the uk part in Epcot makes me feel a little bit of what my grandad experience when he was growing up

The band is called British Revolution. These guys are excellent and play things from the 60s, 70s, 80, and 90s etc. They replaced British Invasion around 9 years ago .
You would think being from scotland and visiting epcot you would want to perhaps dine in a country that you’ve never experienced or try something new. Not for my family, always dine at rose and crown cause it’s too much like a home comfort😂😂 we just love talking to the cast members, especially when we find some who are local to us, it’s such a friendly atmosphere ❤️❤️
As a person from Scotland, I feel very misrepresented by the "UK pavilion". 🤔😎🤣 Most things there are commonly thought of as English which then becomes the whole UK. Where is the irn Bru and haggis, Edinburgh rock sweets and kilts? 🤣. Galaxy chocolate, good choice, Tim 😇

a both an irish and a scottish person i feel this. theres a ton of irish stuff even though its not in the UK and then a total lack of wales or scotland. like wales has a dragon on its flag the merch opportunities are endless. they should totally be selling tablet aswell because anyone who hasnt tried it is missing out. (also i believe that theres a ban on importing haggis into the US and that sheeps lung in general is banned in the US for consumption because of mad cow disease so any american made stuff wouldnt be the same)
I love this detailed tour, we're always in a rush through world showcase and don't get to see it all.
It’s weird seeing what things are put in the UK area because I’m from the UK. Mint Aero, Chippies,pubs and the Beatles.

Yes, did a meet & greet with Pooh and Tigger there in Christopher Robin’s room in 2015! Was wonder-full. Thank you so much for this series. Have enjoyed them all immensely.
Love everything about the UK pavilion! The Rose and Crown is a must for us every time we are in EPCOT. We love this series because you always point out something new that we've never noticed in our many trips to EPCOT. Cheers!

Yes. I have eaten at Rose and Crown and it is one of my Epcot favorites. Definitely try the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Made my mouth water just typing it.
Yes. It's very good, very hearty meals, so probably better in the winter/colder time.

Loving the world show case tours Tim now we can show our family back here in Australia just how detailed and amazing Epcot truly is. We had a great time at the food and wine festival 2017 making our way around all the booths while exploring all the countries, also a great area to home school while on holiday. And yes we would like you to dive in the Aquarium At The Sea's we loved that area of Epcot.
I've eaten at Rose & Crown several times and it's always fantastic! the potato leek soup is to die for!!
UK was always one of my favorite pavilions. Our first year there we found the back gardens with Winnie the Pooh and all of his friends. There was only 2 or 3 other people there. This was back in 1995. It was really nice without any lines!
We loved their fish and chips! Years ago there were pay phones in the phone booths.
Tim the rose and crown restaurant is amazing. The food is soo good and they even allowed us to have a copy of their potato and leek soup recipe which was to die for. Very hearty food so come with an appetite.
Big fan of this series! Loved the resort tours, too. Gets me hyped for my next trip to Disney!

We stumbled upon Rose and Crown when we were in Epcot and ate outside during Illuminations, didn't even need to get a reservation! It was a great view! The food was also great, I recommend it!
That was a common theme for our trip, randomly happening upon, and then eating at, places that usually get super busy and need a reservation.

Ate there for husbands Bday. Never been before but it was WONDERFUL!!!.We were on patio for 4. Service, beer, and food was wonderful!

The first time I went to Disney, my mom made a reservation for us all at the Rose & Crown so we could see Illuminations after we ate! It was many years ago, but I remember having a great dinner and a great view 😊

Rose & Crown is our favorite restaurant. We eat there at least once during every trip, if not more than once. The Shepard’s Pie is our favorite!

Showing the Epcot pavilion of the country that I'm from, the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 and even better, Doctor Who merchandise, at a Disney theme park (like, how is that possible?), I would so go for that if I were there, knowing about stuff to do with my all time favourite TV show is outposted over there
I love world showcase so much! My husband and I like to stay at the boardwalk resort because it’s literally a 3 minute walk into world showcase.
This is our favorite land area of Epcot. Rose and crown for dinner, just yum. Great video Tim my man.

Publix carries Aero bars. Buy it from there if you are homesick, much less expensive! You can also get your ribeena, Irn-bru, marmite, milk bars, fruit pastilles and much much more 😉
Our last 2 trips we’ve done reservations late at Rose & Crown- around 8pm. And just ask to be sat on the back patio. It’s a great way to watch Illuminations!
Christopher Robins bedroom is still used regularly but access is only by the back door under the awning. I'm surprised you didn't try the door knob. It's left unlocked most of the day time and you can walk right in and see artifacts of his childhood.

Rose & Crown is AWESOME! You need to eat there! Bangers & Mash or Shepard's Pie are my favorites. Spoil yourself with the beer flight or the Welsh Dragon.

I love Tim trackers videos! Fantastic information which really helped me plan my holiday to Florida and gave me ideas and tips to vlog my trip.
You can definitely watch Illuminations from that lower section by the fish and chips shop. If you get there early enough, you can bring some of the chairs over to the railing and have a wonderful view of the show. That's the spot I always watch the fireworks from.

I've only eaten in the Rose and Crown pub, but the food is delicious! (And I will never say no to cider). Happy to see they still have the Yellow Submarine stuff. I grew up watching that, so seeing it in the parks makes me smile.

Rose and Crown is very good, my whole family enjoyed what the ate... we had an outside table with 7:15pm reservation and stayed for illuminations and it was awesome... also the beer I had was served cold not room temp which I guess is common in the UK... can’ t wait for your walk around Canada where I’m from.

I went to the Rose and Crown the last time I was at Epcot. It is awesome! We had a waitress from Ireland named Gemmy. She was fantastic!
We ate at the Rose & Crown got booking for 7.45 pm and watched illuminations at 9 pm from there. It was a good evening. Booked it from home before our holiday.
Also the Band who play a few times a day in the UK area are worth a listen.
We were at Epcot this past Christmas and stopped and had the fish and chips from the stand . Very good we like it.
