It was just a random example. Sometimes you're not in the mood to watch a 3 hour film, you'd rather watch something that you can just switch your brain off for a bit.
I did not saw their choices for aladdin vs SP Ryan, but mine would be Ryan. I consider it almost as a chronicle of the world's history, and a masterwork of a movie. Althouh I love Aladdin and it is a great animation movie. Alien is a great sci-fi movie, but not the ultimate of that franchise. Aliens. What will they choose?
Look, Aladdin is a GREAT movie! But, Saving Private Ryan!! One of the greatest war movies of all time if not the best. I think we all grew up with a animated Disney movie close to our hearts, for me it was the Lion King. But even that doesn't beat SPR. Nostalgia beat SPR :(

Why don't they ever have Aliens on the show? Aliens is better than Alien, Aladdin and Saving Private Ryan. Minority Report over Finding Nemo, American Beauty over Iron Man, and Jeff always makes the right choice. Alex usually makes the wrong choice and Dan is somewhere in the middle. Stand By Me over It's a Wonderful Life and Shawshank Redemption should win every time. Also, Airplane over The Untouchables.
omg , minority reports gets killed everytime .... the village is such a lame movie , how is it even a there ... saving ryan 4 sho , lock stock all the way .. and yes , children of men is great....

The Saving Private Ryan vs Alien is hard.
I would pick Alien however it is really a tough decision.
