@@craftsbyaishaaqeel7933 I been working with epoxy putty for the last fifteen years. It can be made very thin and smooth with alcohol! Must be high concentration rubbing alcohol. Rather hard to work with. That's why I'm looking at a water based putty. My first projects were flowers, then graduated to other things. I'm now working the raised surface under my oil paintings to give it a 3-D effect! Trying to find someone else who might be trying the same thing! It really does make a wonderful new effect!
Hey, can we also use epoxy resin over wall putty, fevicol and baking soda sculpture paste? If you have any idea about that, do let me know. Also, is this homemade sculpture paste as good as the commercial one?
The resin will go down into the deep spaces but the tip will remain uncovered no need to waste resin over it. Secondly of course commercial one is better but homemade is nevertheless. You might find sculpture paste in your country but still, in Pakistan, we are unable to reach so for me and for all those who don't have access to it, it's been a blessing to create a good paste by their own.
@@craftsbyaishaaqeel7933 but I have seen some artists making wall putty Fevicol and water cone for lippan art and after it dries completely, they also pour resin over that artwork. Next thing is, can I use this homemade sculpture paste artwork for selling as well? Or will it crack easily?
Tried sculpture paste recipe for 5-6 times by seeing diff recipes on TH-cam but failed to make perfect consistency I think readymade paste is best option b.coz if makin this paste in small quantity then it's a waste of things nothing else

This looks very easy. but when I make petals, it is usually square from the back and not in a petal shape.. can you help me why is this happening? how exactly are you holding your knife and where to apply the pressure, can u show.
The way it works is the way of using the palette knife... I'm not sure about explaining but the shape is all based on how you put your pressure... there's some youtube videos about it you can look up or even experiment yourself and find what works for you.
