Kotoka not coming back may be more than people let on, because even if she went on a mental health break - Niji is not the type of company to allow that easily, but more enforce it. We know that for sure.
Once again, these actions came at a broad cost and I think there was some manipulation behind the scenes. I know some members don't have any loyalty to NJ, but just want to preserve their career.
There are many paths these people can take, burning more than they care to admit. Eventually they will have to give in, but we know rules ever since 2024 have relaxed so much that people are freely using their PL's now. So I think the members officially started running NijiEN, and that graduation list is getting longer.
The problem is Kotoka's career is over due to her backstabbing Zaion and others before her, then you have people still thinking she backstabbing Mel (which did not occur). The best thing for her is to leave Japan and start over, because starting over is impossible in Japan, because people there still think she got Mel terminated from Hololive.
The Sayu PTSD with women is basically the meme that goes:

When push comes to shove the same is true of about 80% to 90% of people regardless of how almost everyone likes to think they would do otherwise. It's easy to say you would do something in a hypothetical situation when there are no consequences for it, but its a whole other ballgame when the sh^t hits the fan its your neck on the line. Take this from a whistle blower who payed the price for failing to toe the line and look the other way. So very few will have your back when the chips are on the table.
Even in those rare cases where a whistleblower wins and gets some wrong righted their lives are almost always ruined in the process.

What I hate about the internet now compared to how it was before is that it is much more meaner and much less forgiving now compared to before. In the internet you'll always be treated like a blank piece of paper. One mistake is equivalent to an ink dot in the middle of the paper, before people might take a pause and reconsider if they're going to trash the paper or still use it but nowadays just a tiny bit of smudge and its automatic trash bin for you, heck sometimes you don't even have any mark but they still trash you.

Seems they were close enough to have an off-collab at Mel's house, and she was Mel's last off-collab before getting terminated. Afterwards, Mel unfollowed Kotoka on her PL account, and Kotoka went on an indefinite hiatus, which fueled the speculations further. Both sides are quiet and asked not to speculate or probe deeper, so there's no confirmation.

Main evidence is that Mels past life blocked Kotoka rather quickly even before her clearification message that Hololive let her have. Another thing of note is that Mel have good rep and holo attempt to work it out but Mel decided to walk ( just like a dragon ). Rushia on the other hand was a thank you for your time please don't come back kind of feel.

Hololive too has the ability to skinwalk and HAVE skinwalked on Hololive accounts but every time they post they make sure to clearly state it is management not the talent posting. and they only do this posting when the talent themselves can't. example being manager for Chammers when she was recovering in the hospital wrote a tweet for her and posted it for her on her account. in short both nijisanji livers' and Hololive talents' twitters every tweet could be a skinwalk however we don't worry or cast doubt on Hololive because Hololive haven't been shown to abuse that for malicious or disingenuous purposes. while nijisanji was caught EGREGIOUSLY ABUSING IT

I forget where I heard it, but I remember hearing "People at the bottom compete, people at the top collab." Considering how many people get a lot of growth tend to do a lot of collab work, it's not that shocking.
I'm not sure what the label is on Sayu being done with Kotoka is about, the one she said she was done with was Finana and even mentioned during the stream that if Kotoka came to her that she might be willing to move forward. Even wishing her happiness and wishing she could have been part of that happiness

Assuming the rumors about her past actions are true, I'd say she's likely persona non grata with CoverCorp / Hololive. It's one thing to be competitive with their talents, it's another thing entirely to cost them one of their Gen1 original cast. With how close knit Holo seems to be, even IF she got through the audition door there's an above 0% chance she'd be ignored by the other talents if not actively ignored barring forced interaction which can become very toxic very quickly. Very few people are able to hold grudges to the extent that Japanese people are, particularly in the entertainment industry

My stance on Kotoka: She’s way too close to that explosive barrel that makes her stand out more, but I still can’t confirm if she is solely responsible for Mel’s termination. If she willingly takes this allegation to the grave, this will not only incriminate her, it will bolster a hefty amount of Niji-sisters to destroy everything in sight that is CoverCorp to drag them down, all because muh mult-billionaire simping they are deluded to believe done nothing.

I can understand why ex-Prisms like Shiki, Jun and Pina doesn't see issue with it, one of it's creator is literally their friend, but for the rest of the global vtubing scene? Not really trauma dumping, at least that stream was because she was reacting to armchairs video on the Zaion Termination, which was already mentioned days ago. This is more retreading a clip focusing on the implied Finana part.

Kronii was super condescending about it on the stream. She could have handled it better. She's flipping out over shit that doesn't matter and letting it ruin her day. She's showing signs of fatigue and needs to step back and take a break before she alienates her audience. No one should have to walk on eggshells around their entertainment. You wouldn't watch a tv show if it only ever shit talked it's viewers. This is her job. it demands more professionalism than that. And a degree of emotional detachment.

THANK GOODNESS suisei's dad stopped drinking - vomiting in the morning just made my red flags turn into red alert signs - if an 'person with a specific problem with that but is a banned controversial word on yt for *me* to say' normally is vomiting in the morning, is due to intaking more 'secret stash booze'/hipflasks etc on an empty stomach to stop the shakes that come with this terrible chemicals withdrawal IN THE MORNING (thank goodness it wasn't a grand mal seizure... yes alcohol WD is that serious)
It is because the booze, even though stopping the persons WD, also rejects everything from stomach. Do remember it IS 'technically' a poison for us humans (hence the old bartender phrase for what do you want - 'what's your poison?' for 'what are you drinking') this is why people with that 'specific mental health problem not allowed discussed on yt' develop appetite problems.
Why would you do this?!?! well, 'this problem' is not as black and white or even gray as some may think.
The common thought process behind this i've found out first hand is - they eat while they drink, they drink too much, they vomit (the food they ate) out, but think thats just the booze, maybe either drink more and then/or sleep, wake up - think 'oh i ate last night before drinking, i had dinner' - and the cycle begins again. a lot even drinking on empty stomachs to 'stop the morning shakes/WD's' from the problem. Some trick themselves into thinking they don't need as much food, i've heard 'sure look at that' _shows me his beer gut* "yes i see, you have 'a beer gut'", since things like beer or ciders make you 'fatter', but thats not from food.
Little PSA for helping yourself or any friends with this to be as safe as possible with this chemical, ethanol/alcohol. 1a: ALWAYS, no matter what, esp with THIS one, the most harmful one out there 1b: glass of water after atleast your 2nd drink. 2: not matter how hungover, try get something into your or their stomach, when i was 'young n dumb n drank', my go-to was soup and a bit of bread with A LOT of water in the morning (plus an additional -herb but that is still to be discovered as a hangover cure by a majority- buuut ill keep that hush hush until we go like a lot of holland, thailand, canada and a load of american states already have).
3: *MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION IN THIS POST* if you have a friend that is so drunk, refusing to do any of these types of things throughout the night, all you can do is, if they black out, either Ambulance and get their stomach pumped OR put them into 'the recovery position' - put them on their side, left/right arm bent and put that arms hand on their ear, creating a triangle but also, a space for if *sick whilst unconscious* aka deadly, secondly use their same sides leg, bend the knee up as far as possible, this means they cannot move into a more dangerous position 'if in that kind of state and what possibilities you gotta avoid esp with vomit and airways' and pray that they do not start vomiting, im not a religious person in the slightest but 1 friend has made me pray that did not happen and was weirded out that me and another friend were watching over him...until he smelt the sickness.
i hate the stuff, i hate the promotion of it by 'drinking streams', i hate that i feel i need to tell people 'look these are the steps to AVOID going and being in a position with something thats incredibly deceptively dangerous, that i had to go through myself with friends' and hate that after any funerals i've went to caused by it, are remembered in irish fashion...with a drink to their memory.
