It’s hard for me to pick which version of Shao is the best, because both MK11 and MK1 versions are not only strong in their way, but at the same time, watered down into secondary villains. As much as I was satisfied about Kitana beating Shao Kahn, that version of Shao is pretty weak; to be fair, though, he has gotten better when he joined forces with Evil Sindel, and when seeing those duos in action, I felt intimidated. MK 9 Shao Kahn is stronger, due to his role of being the main antagonist. Can’t say much, but I know that version served his purpose. However, it’s pretty lame that Shao Kahn killed Kung Lao with a sneak attack. My Top 3 versions of Shao: 1. MK 9 Shao Kahn 2. MK11 Shao 3. MK1 General Shao This would sound cheating, but there is a Shao Kahn I prefer, and he’s not from a video game, but he’s from the movie, Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms. That Shao Kahn is powerful, being able to defeat most of his enemies in Kombat, and his rivalry with Raiden is intriguing. Also, Shao Kahn versus Liu Kang is AMAZING, a little anime-like as well, but the fight between those two is such a blast. Battle of the Realms Shao Kahn is my most Favorite version of the character, and he’s certainly one of the best MK antagonists ever.

I'm gonna make a bold prediction that right when raiden sent his message back in time and shao kahn killed raiden. Shao kahn took raidens soul afterwards and is now waiting his time to invade the new timelines and conquering those new timelines . Basically his mk11 ending. 😄😁 Shao kahn 2024.
