Ibanez mikro bass - which strings to choose (round wound)

45-65-85-105- 28.6 inch scale ....
thats the kicker .
you need the outer string winding to terminate AFTER the nut , but before the string hits the tuning peg winding post .
the ernie ball 2852 short scale regular slinky bass strings @ 19.99 fit the bill .
we were not looking for ground wound , power wound , flat wound , tape wound strings this time. we were going t try the bass with round wounds first . later down the road maybe we will try some flats and see how that sounds but for now , for the first set we wanted a budget 20 dollar set of what the bass comes with or similar from the factory . the strings that were on it were very DEAD .
