There is a reason why Luffy and Zoro are both so serious with Blackbeard once they are out of the shop but were so casual when they were within. Both of them I think felt Blackbeard sort of transforming, and realized just how dangerous and out of their league this Blackbeard was. Maybe the personality of Blackbeard outside just had a lot more intimidating Haki presence or something, which affected both the conquerors since they could probably sense it at some instinctual level.

All jokes aside buggy is very intuitive despite being considered weak buggy has a knack on observing things and reading the situation he is also very inventive. Both him and shanks represents the two spirits of roger pirates shanks is all about freeing the seas for everyone amd showing generosity and protecting the weak while buggy is all about having fun and making a bond with people you meet on the journey.
When Blackbeard called luffy out on his bounty, it's not because he thought it was too high for someone like him, but because he thought it was too low. I think it's cool how Blackbeard can immediately tell when a person is strong.

I just realized that when Blackbeard said Luffy's 30 million bounty was a lie, he was saying that it should be higher than that, not like the others who thought it should have been lower. Because when he later sees the 100 million berry bounty, he comments that he knew his bounty had to be higher, judging by his haki. Little details like this are what make this story so great.

Exactly, both want Freedom, but Luffy wants to liberate the good from the evil while Blackbeard wants to liberate the evil from the good. I foresee him directly breaking many villains out of their containment, past ones like Doflamingo for instance.
Blackbeard is easily my favorite character in One Piece. And that goes against my hatred of characters who fight dirty like him. That one scene where he says peoples dream never ends literally NEVER fails to get me. I feel it in my core. He is an ambitious man unlike any other, and he will do anything to achieve his dreams. And I cant help but respect him for that.

I've read a theory about the devil fruit possessed by teech, he said that the devil fruit invites an evil aura if it is only stored by the one who keeps it, so whoever keeps the devil fruit will experience bad luck, maybe that's what happened to thatch, until he had to be killed by a teech's evil intentions
Luffy says it's they not he, which means he and zoro sensed two souls inside Teach, it def explains blackbeard being able to have 2 fruits as your soul will fight itself of you consume 2 fruitd but if you had 2 souls, it wouldn't be a problem

I think the most sensible explanation why teach doesnt sleep is because he has a split personality? He doesnt need to sleep because the "other" teach sleeps when the other is awake.
Then that means he can have multiple devil fruits then because of the fact that it isn’t one beholder but multiple separate hosts. I think that makes a ton of sense.

That's precisely where the multiple soul/body comes in play.... after a certain amount of time you just overlook all the behavioral and even physical changes that consistently happen with bb whenever he appears (physical changes include his teeth which sometimes go missing and then come back again sometimes this happens in a single chapter in just a few panels like chapter 579) in this chapter at the start he had 3 missing teeths and midway he suddenly had all his teeth and then again a few panels later he again had 3 missing teeths, same with impel down when he was trying to free all the prisoners.

To add on to your theory, Luffy being able to hear the voices of all things could have sensed or rather 'hear' something unusual inside of Teech telling Luffy to follow his dreams and not to retaliate Bellamy's attack. As for Zoro, always having an eye for 'cursed' stuff could have sensed the possessed body of Teech in response to 'they'.
I think that when Blackbeard says "People's dreams have no end" and the fact that he doesn't sleep are very much connected. My theory is he doesn't sleep because he want to make his life his very own dream, and by it not ending he maybe wants to say he's trying to become immortal.

Yeah they don't realize that the coward and naive idiot is only one of the Teach's three natures. At least one of them is a genius tactician, and one of them is the ruthless killer who killed thatch. This "killer" one is also probably the one that faced off and injured Shanks. Since I don't think the killer is the one giving this speech it's most likely the tactician. Honestly in my opinion the most dangerous of three Teach's. Wonder if cerberus really is his third fruit or he still needs to get that one?

In the whole entire show, he's the only true pirate!! as in proper pirate characteristics. On the topic of villains, I wouldn't rank any of them a high as villains.. BB and Madara. Villians have narcissistic psychopath/sociopath traits, like The Joker from Batman, Frieza aka "space Hitler" from DBZ. The closest thing to a villain so far is Doflamingo/Big Mom.
Luffy is the truest Pirate. Everything leads back to God which is goodness so a true pirate will always represent peace, freedom, liberation and faith (haki / willpower / kuma bible). Luffy's Awakening is also called Nika - which means Jesus Christ Conqueror. Gear 5th is every dream of a Child of God, to be reborn after death into a Joy Boy/Superman that can do all things through Christ who strengthens his Crew/Church (Nakama). Now Teach is a true evil Pirate that represent the way of Cain (killing his brother for power) and Nimrod (mighty hunter/great pirate against the Lord/Logos/true Luffy). As human beings we can relate to Luffy and Teach because we have good and evil in us all

If Coby helps Luffy fight Blackbeard, we'd atleast need to see him bring in a warlord. It obviously can't be Mihawk. I would hope it wouldn't be Boa. However if she got captured and Luffy saved her from the world government like how Tiger saved her and her sisters earlier then that would solidify Boa's love for Luffy even more. Also think about it. If Boa got captured and return to life as a slave in Marygeoise and Luffy saves her and all the other slaves. Then he would be the living embodiment of the sun god Nika. But Coby needs to show his power sooner rather than later for him to be relevant enough to help Luffy fight Blackbeard. Also does it make sense for Coby to be equal power to Luffy. If it takes him 2 years to reach Vice admiral or even admiral level strength without a DF would be crazy. Personally I'd rather have him fight Edward Weevil (the only warlord who has the least value to the story in my opinion), so Coby wiping him would be ideal for me. Or just do another Bellamy situation, have Luffy meet Weevil, listens to Weevil believing to be Whitebeards son, calls him out on his BS and just gumo gumo no pistol his dumbass and knock him out. As an antagonist teach is built differently, although it is well istablished that he isn't a good person, it is also well istablished that he isn't THE bad guy, he is just one in 7 seas full of them, but he has the most ambition out of all of them. He will "complete" his flag when he gets the last Devil Fruit. Chapter 225 or Episode 147, after Blackbeard's speech, 6:30 Nami ask "Who is He (Teach)"? Teach is more than one person in the same body, this explains why he never sleeps 0:30 (ch 966, ep 966), and also why Ace told him 7:05 that he lived more than one person (ch 440, ep 325). Marshall D. Teach is 3 people combined and the 3 Skulls in his Jolly Roger is an indication of that. I think a combination of akumas no mi users, "joined" three people and created Marshall D. Teach. I think the the mechanism is similar for Blackbeard, there are 3 people and they swap parts. This give a margin to explain his teeth changing all the time. He can combine the 3 sets of teeth (bottom) with the 3 sets of teeth (top) in different ways. Like BlackBeard did in Chapter 577 or Episode 486 with the combining powers of the Gura Gura no Mi, in one hand, and the powers of the Yami Yami no Mi, in the other hand, at the Arch of Marineford. That would explain the 3 skulls on Blackbeard's crew flag, but another detail of his Jolly Roger is having 4 crossbones, and that is a Oda’s foreshadowing for Blackbeard's Next Devil Fruit: Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Yamata no Orochi. Either she stole the fruit or Shiki gave the fruit to her, but either way Shiki has information that Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Yamata no Orochi is in Wano. Blackbeard will complete his Jolly Roger when he gets the last fruit. I think the idea for Marshall D. Teach background was that his mentor was Shiki, he taught BlackBeard how to use the skills of that Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit. The current user Kurozumi Orochi only has the fruit, and uses it exclusively to survive, when the Teach has the skills of this fruit, we'll see it being used in combat. We will see, when Blackbeard attacks Wano, that he has the Orochi fruit information, it will actually be the second connection we have in the series between Blackbeard and Shiki, Teach had the information beforehand of the existence of Level 6 of Impel Down, and of the extremely strong Pirates that were supposed to be hidden from the World. The idea of Shiki being the mentor of Marshall D. Teach was planned since the Arc of Impel Down, Blackbeard's plan (after catching the fruit of darkness) was to be able to heist Impel Down and recruit pirates AT LEVEL 6, BlackBeard only got a Shichibukai position (this position by itself is a great feat) to have "access" to Impel Down level 6, and it was revealed that Shiki was the only fugitive from level 6 in history. BlackBeard went straight to level 6 and that level is secret, no one outside the navy knows about it, and Blackbeard's knew, because he was trained by the only pirate in history who escaped from there, Shiki. Because of the movie with Shiki, I don't know if they'll keep this backgroud, but the black beard was certainly trained by someone close to Shiki, and he came to meet him, and receive information from level 6, which has many famous and strong pirates. Blackbeard has two reasons to attack Wano, Devil Fruit and Robin. The government, Big Mom and other pirates have an interest in Nico Robin, because nobody else can read the Ponyglyphs, not even the world government, if it was the case that WG knew how to translate but wanted to keep the secret, they would kill Robin instead of trying to capture her again. Marshall D. Teach will try to "recruit" (Kidnap) Robin. I can't imagine any other way for Blackbeard to get the One Piece. The bets are that Blackbeard will attack Wano, will take the last Devil Fruit (Zoan type) and will try to get ROBIN, that's what Blackbeard meant when he said he wasn't going to let the navy have it all, he went to Wano.

There is a reason why Luffy and Zoro are both so serious with Blackbeard once they are out of the shop but were so casual when they were within. Both of them I think felt Blackbeard sort of transforming, and realized just how dangerous and out of their league this Blackbeard was. Maybe the personality of Blackbeard outside just had a lot more intimidating Haki presence or something, which affected both the conquerors since they could probably sense it at some instinctual level.

All jokes aside buggy is very intuitive despite being considered weak buggy has a knack on observing things and reading the situation he is also very inventive. I just realized that when Blackbeard said Luffy's 30 million bounty was a lie, he was saying that it should be higher than that, not like the others who thought it should have been lower. Because when he later sees the 100 million berry bounty, he comments that he knew his bounty had to be higher, judging by his haki. Little details like this are what make this story so great.

I think the most sensible explanation why teach doesnt sleep is because he has a split personality? He doesnt need to sleep because the "other" teach sleeps when the other is awake.

To add on to your theory, Luffy being able to hear the voices of all things could have sensed or rather 'hear' something unusual inside of Teech telling Luffy to follow his dreams and not to retaliate Bellamy's attack. As for Zoro, always having an eye for 'cursed' stuff could have sensed the possessed body of Teech in response to 'they'.

If Coby helps Luffy fight Blackbeard, we'd atleast need to see him bring in a warlord. It obviously can't be Mihawk. I would hope it wouldn't be Boa. However if she got captured and Luffy saved her from the world government like how Tiger saved her and her sisters earlier then that would solidify Boa's love for Luffy even more. Also think about it. If Boa got captured and return to life as a slave in Marygeoise and Luffy saves her and all the other slaves. Then he would be the living embodiment of the sun god Nika. But Coby needs to show his power sooner rather than later for him to be relevant enough to help Luffy fight Blackbeard. Also does it make sense for Coby to be equal power to Luffy. If it takes him 2 years to reach Vice admiral or even admiral level strength without a DF would be crazy. Personally I'd rather have him fight Edward Weevil (the only warlord who has the least value to the story in my opinion), so Coby wiping him would be ideal for me. Or just do another Bellamy situation, have Luffy meet Weevil, listens to Weevil believing to be Whitebeards son, calls him out on his BS and just gumo gumo no pistol his dumbass and knock him out. Bro teach is such a great character, only because of of fact of how much he confuses our feelings, like this guy killed thatch for a devil fruit, but you gotta understand he's a pirate, greed comes before everything else but he's also a real pirate, he dosent care about money or status he cares about his dream and believes that people's dreams are never ending that's why teach gives me such mixed feelings likes he's a bad guy, but he's a bad guy not for the sake of just being a bad guy but that's what he has to do to accomplish his dreams and u can respect that to some degree
Blackbeard Theories: An Explanation for the 3 Skulls and 4 Crossbones
In short, the three skulls represent the 3 people who constitute Marshal D. Teach. The 8 crossbones tips are Oda's foreshadowing for Blackbeard's Next Devil Fruit: Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Yamata no Orochi. Each tip indicates the head of the Orochi. He will "complete" his flag when he gets the last Devil Fruit.
Chapter 225 or Episode 147, after Blackbeard's speech, 6:30 Nami ask "Who is He (Teach)"? Luffy tells Nami, that "It's not him", and Zoro complements "It's them". This is an indication that Marshal D. Teach is more than one person in the same body, this explains why he never sleeps 0:30 (ch 966, ep 966), and also why Ace told him 7:05 that he lived more than one person (ch 440, ep 325). Marshall D. Teach is 3 people combined and the 3 Skulls in his Jolly Roger is an indication of that. I think a combination of akumas no mi users, "joined" three people and created Marshall D. Teach. There is already in One Piece some akuma no mi that can "joined" people, like Ope Ope no Mi, Gocha Gocha no Mi, Baku Baku no Mi (or it may have been a new type of fruit that "joined" these people together).
My bets are that a more experienced user, who managed to put Baku Baku no Mi to a different use, was involved in his creation. Blackbeard is mentioned for the first time 2:28 in Chapter 132 or Episode 79 Dalton (current Drum’s Leader) says that Blackbeard's crew attacked the Island and the former King, Wapol, fled. Blackbeard attacked Drum to get the power of the Baku Baku no Mi, he wanted to get the power of Wapol. He attacked the Kingdom of Drum when he was getting used to the powers of the Yami Yami no Mi, he already knew he could “split up”, but he wasn't sure if he would be able to "gather together" again. While he was still inexperienced with using his Devil Fruit no Mi, he wanted to have a guarantee and would give the Wapol's power to one of his own crew so he could " gather " again.

He can combine the 3 sets of teeth (bottom) with the 3 sets of teeth (top) in different ways. Like BlackBeard did in Chapter 577 or Episode 486 with the combining powers of the Gura Gura no Mi, in one hand, and the powers of the Yami Yami no Mi, in the other hand, at the Arch of Marineford.
That would explain the 3 skulls on Blackbeard's crew flag, but another detail of his Jolly Roger is having 4 crossbones, and that is a Oda’s foreshadowing for Blackbeard's Next Devil Fruit: Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Yamata no Orochi. Each tip indicates a head of the Orochi.
Chapter 965 or Episode 965, Kurozumi Higurashi, the former user of Mane Mane no Mi, says she left the island of Wano (was chased) and that she came into contact with several people, and end up getting the Devil Fruit Orochi. While demonstrating the powers of her own Devil Fruit she transforms into SHIKI. Either she stole the fruit or Shiki gave the fruit to her, but either way Shiki has information that Hebi Hebi no Mi, Model: Yamata no Orochi is in Wano. Blackbeard will complete his Jolly Roger when he gets the last fruit.
I think the idea for Marshall D. Teach background was that his mentor was Shiki, he taught BlackBeard how to use the skills of that Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit. The current user Kurozumi Orochi only has the fruit, and uses it exclusively to survive, when the Teach has the skills of this fruit, we'll see it being used in combat. We will see, when Blackbeard attacks Wano, that he has the Orochi fruit information, it will actually be the second connection we have in the series between Blackbeard and Shiki, Teach had the information beforehand of the existence of Level 6 of Impel Down, and of the extremely strong Pirates that were supposed to be hidden from the World.
The idea of Shiki being the mentor of Marshall D. Teach was planned since the Arc of Impel Down, Blackbeard's plan (after catching the fruit of darkness) was to be able to heist Impel Down and recruit pirates AT LEVEL 6, BlackBeard only got a Shichibukai position (this position by itself is a great feat) to have "access" to Impel Down level 6, and it was revealed that Shiki was the only fugitive from level 6 in history. BlackBeard went straight to level 6 and that level is secret, no one outside the navy knows about it, and Blackbeard's knew, because he was trained by the only pirate in history who escaped from there, Shiki. Because of the movie with Shiki, I don't know if they'll keep this backgroud, but the black beard was certainly trained by someone close to Shiki, and he came to meet him, and receive information from level 6, which has many famous and strong pirates.
Blackbeard has two reasons to attack Wano, Devil Fruit and Robin. The government, Big Mom and other pirates have an interest in Nico Robin, because nobody else can read the Ponyglyphs, not even the world government, if it was the case that WG knew how to translate but wanted to keep the secret, they would kill Robin instead of trying to capture her again. Marshall D. Teach will try to "recruit" (Kidnap) Robin. I can't imagine any other way for Blackbeard to get the One Piece. The bets are that Blackbeard will attack Wano, will take the last Devil Fruit (Zoan type) and will try to get ROBIN, that's what Blackbeard meant when he said he wasn't going to let the navy have it all, he went to Wano.
