Hi, Yes, I couldn't decide easily on colour for this one - on the one-hand I knew the movie examples were really very dark. Yet on one of my Alien DVD covers there is an Egg which is coloured more like I have done here - with more obvious dark & more yellowish greens. Again, in the future I could always change my mind or add more sculpted bumps etc & then repaint the whole thing - but for now I am calling it done (because I have so many other movie creatures on my to-do list - up next is 'Bad-Milo' & I hope to have him done in the next week or two). Thanks again for watching - I know my channel has some obscure content so I'm glad somebody watches it!!!
Nice build Leon. I might have a crack at one of these myself in the future. I also never got around to congrats for the chestburster. Very nice. Mine is more to actual size and I would say a little less stylized than yours is. Mine I tried to keep as close as possible to the 79 creature as seen in the film.
That sounds great! Yes, I just wanted to get the overall effect so it looked good in my creature room with everything else! You should do an egg - mine was great fun to do - yours might take longer but you will still love doing it, I'm certain. Thanks for commenting & continuing to watch!!!
