    Living the dream!! So cute love that you’re over in Paris doing this! Wheel throwing tip - full speed is great for centering, but you should bring it down to half or even a quarter speed for pulling out and bringing the walls up - the wheel should match the speed that your hands are moving - tiny tweak will make HUGE difference x

      yes!! I was watching you being a lil hard on yourself and thinking that even those who wheel throw for longer can’t bring the walls up on that speed! try not to bring the walls up in a spiral, but rather let the piece go a full circle before moving your hands up. you are doing great lola!!

      Thank you SO MUCH for this xx

      @serenasacot ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes i thought that to. Its safer to go slower. Takes more time but the piece will keep centered.

    Oh I loved this, I’ve recently had throwing lessons for the first time too and it’s not as easy as they make it look 🥲 you’re doing so well though and as long as you’re enjoying it that’s the main thing! One thing that really helped me was when my teacher told us about really bracing our elbows into our body and leaning into the clay, rather than having our arm in the air. That way we had a firmer hold of the clay, it helps you guide the clay where you want it rather than it moving you 🌷 but you’re doing fab and I appreciate you sharing your journey trying something new, it’s inspiring me to do the same so thank you 🫂

    Thank you for sharing with us moments of your life💗
    And I have а little lifehack for you: you can fold a yoga mat in half and then twist it, so that the mat stays clean inside 😉

      wait what..🤯what do mean…?

    • @Veselka_ua
      @Veselka_ua ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@perforatedfold I mean, if you just roll a yoga mat, then particles from the floor can remain inside (dust or hair stick). And so that the next time the rug is clean inside, it is better to first fold it in half, and then twist it. I'm sorry, maybe there are errors and inaccuracies in the translation, English is not my native language 🙌

    the biggest tip i ever learned for wheel throwing is to keep your arms stabilized on your knees at all times at it prevents the works to wobble.
