Inspite of having this knowledge, I would be lying if I said I don't slip up. It's a conscious effort I have to make everytime to pull myself back. Junk is addictive and before I say jack, they're having Biscuits everyday for 1 week. You're right. Biscuits, packet drinks and the likes and more readily available and I might even argue that they are cheaper depending on the brand. But a major drawback for me considering how perishable fresh fruits are would be the poor condition of our electricity. But like you said, it's a worthy investment in their health, so no excuses. Thank you for being a voice of reason❤
Even this morning sis, I sent the boys to school with biscuits. It’s really not about eliminating biscuits and the likes completely. Like you said, it’s the effort and consciousness that counts. Sometimes, I have to ‘fight’ those snacks. They’re so convenient and you don’t have to wash, cut and do all sorts.
Talking about cost, all of them are now so expensive o. 50 naira biscuit has only 3 pieces inside. We usually end up buying 200 naira biscuits with 450 naira yoghurt to go with it. And yes, epileptic power supply can be discouraging. You always almost have to buy daily if you want to be consistent.
@@remremdfoodie it was after this video I took the time to find out that junk is not even actually cheaper. Now I'm trying to replace Biscuits with nuts and trying to figure how we don't end up finish a bottle of Groundnuts in 3 days😭
Great video thank you so much sis 🥰
