I love my Neve RNDI. I use it for session work , recording bass tracks in my home studio. It really adds a nice warm tone to my basses. Very clean and articulate. It brings out the best qualities of my basses.
I would Jump on a 5088 in minute if there was an update. I love the sound just Wish there was their was some type of inline design (Small fader/Knob) and inserts on the channels. The product RND makes is second to none, The sound is amazing!!! Every piece they do is just stellar
I almost went another route for the same reasons but I’m so glad I didn’t. Having the small fader path is super convenient but nothing that can’t be worked around with enough I/O. But I’m a weirdo who loves to patch things differently every time to figure out what works best so there’s that. Inserts on every channel would’ve been nice admittedly but I don’t mind being forced to simplify and process with group inserts more often.
