If you are making a normal remove 3 or 4 domino pieces in some places so it gets stopped

This is one of the best videos on the internet. The main reason is quite simple. It shows the level of difficulty, patience and nerves of steel needed for the making of these pyramids. It's not failure that makes the video wonderful, it is the realism and how painful is to have a mistake.
The life of a human can be this pyramid. Just one mistake, only one, makes the whole thing collapse. The video should be seen by millions. The pyramid you built is simply perplexing and amazing.

One of the most impressive things would be the study of how air current behaves under this structure. The hydrodynamics of air flow and air foils through the structure creates intriguing currents. That adds more difficulty to the rigidity of the structure. The loads of the structure may experience some stresses due to small changes in temperature too.
The behavior of it could be a complete class dedicated to rigid body dynamics.

I would not call that a failure. It was a great collapse, as it was supposed to do. So what if it was not quite 100%. It was still good.

I personally don't know, because this is the first time I've seen one of these, but I don't think it's supposed to fall. I think the fun part is building it and the collapse is just icing on the cake.
I know others are setup so the you could knock them back down but I don't think this particular project is meant to be knocked down.

Maybe more space would help. I noticed he had to put himself in awkward positions when it got bigger. That could have been the reason for the error in placement.

Pay no mind to the haters, there's a lot of folks whose idea of creativity is criticizing the folks who are actually trying something. It takes tremendous patience to attempt a build of.this size, and in a medium where the margin of error is zero. Very cool

Maybe you can build a structure like a scaffold around the pyramid so you can build more comfortably. Also maybe try it in a bigger room. We´re all with you. Don't give up!

What the best thing of this was, the builder didn't curse or swear. Kudos to him!

In the time it took you to build that last pyramid, I learned 3 songs on my guitar, 3 songs on my banjo, 1 song on my mandolin, 1 song on my fiddle, swam 5 miles, played 2 tennis matches, played a round of golf, swam my dogs 5 times, cut the grass, weeded, blew off the drive and went for a motorcycle ride.

Building structures is so frustrating when it fails because of no security !
By the way imagine if the domino didn't topple everything, and the pyramid falled because of the other domino you threw in the pyamid !

A great alternative to watching tv or living on a PC.
This is a great example of our excellent visual acuity. To precisely build a perfectly square structure, with zero tools to check accuracy, using only the square nature of the dominoes themselves to lay each piece, thousands of times and still remain absolutely square the whole time, all the while knowing one miscalculation in finger position will send your entire kingdom tumbling... It's pretty incredible.

At the end the video is only on him, something tells me that there was a lot of footage that would of bored us to death... At the end I was holding my breath knowing it was going to happen... omg I was like the suspense. Really good camera work and editing. there are so many awards to give you, The Science of human patience, The mental length of focus and how long it will take for an accident to occur award, The editing of the video, The camera angles. and of course congratulation on getting the 1 million viewer award 3 times in a row from TH-cam.

Whomever that was back in 2011, if that had of been my creative art, oooh, they would of gotten a beating for that disruption. Not cool, NOT COOL.
Yeah, domino/wood tile stacking is a creative art and certainly not as niche as some would think; I see it a lot with the children back home, though it's not all just for the heck of it because this is also something wagers get made on. I'd explain further on that but I don't quite understand how it all works because it is something I only observe in passing.
I think what makes this legendary is the failure. We will all be pulling for you on the fourth attempt.
