The most dominoes toppled underwater by a team is 11,466 and was achieved by Sinners Domino Entertainment (Germany) on the set of "Dominoland - Reaching The Limit" in Nidda, Germany, on 15 August 2015.
The tallest domino 2D pyramid was 2,88 meters high and consisted of 7,260 dominoes as erected and toppled by Sinners Domino Entertainment (Germany), on the set of "Dominoland - Reaching The Limit" in Nidda, Germany, on 15 August 2015.
The largest domino portrait covered an area of 72m² and consisted of 150,174 dominoes as set up by Sinners Domino Entertainment (Germany), on the set of "Dominoland - Reaching The Limit" in Nidda, Germany, on 15 August 2015.

I feel bad for "Sinners Domino Entertainment" because instead of respecting that these guys just broke three world records, everyone's complaining about the replays, and what-ifs, and the very few mess-ups... just respect what they did and don't worry about the errors :)
The audience was more than satisfied though
Some of those errors messed up the flow of an otherwise awesome display (the 3rd shirt not dropping drew audible reaction from the audience, etc). Still, this must have been rewarding for them to pull off (clean up would suck though).

Its not the fact that this is so satisfying, its the fact that people somehow have the patience people have to do this, is the reason I liked

Awesome event - great work to the team!! I loved the underwater domino field, scream fall wall, snowflake (great effect!), and the 2D pyramid of course. It's amazing how you got that pyramid to stay up and without having it turn a corner! And wow that end field - amazing! The lights around it were a great touch too.
Just as a little constructive criticism: this is just my opinion, but I thought the replays and slow mo with the music were a bit annoying. I would have loved to see the video without any disconnections, because it interrupted the whole flow of the video. I understand if you are trying to hide breaks, but I'm sure there's a less intrusive way of doing that ;)
Really great setup though and congrats on all the world records!! Next time I want to see zero fails^^ xD
+Hevesh5 Thanks a lot! The 2D-Pyramid was difficult but the very first attempt was successful and building a corner is cheating. :D The end field is crazy and building the same field for 4 days was quite annoying, but the result was pretty satisfying.
Concerning replays and so on: The falldown was shorter than the video, so some breaks were even stretched for those slow-mo clips. But e.g. between Supermarket and Temple there was a 90 second timeline to allow the cameras to go there. But I agree with you, it is a little bit distracting.
Zero fails would be awesome - but e.g. with the 3rd 3d pyramid, we couldn't believe what we saw: about 8 dominoes toppled in the corner, so 3 dominoes were hanging in the air, but they didn't topple. Sometimes we just had plain bad luck.
I am one of about fifteen team members, yes... It was an awesome time!

If your so disappointed about it why dont you make something like that. Not lame american records, no offense but the american records are really lame. Plus just because you are popular doesnt mean just you can decide how they make their videos, you have the same likely as me to request a change. Also wouldnt you want to do slow motion replays if you beat a world record? Seriously! Plus you mess up on your structures and chains and try to hide it. You have NO say in anything they did.

I honestly think that all the domino builders of you tube should combine efforts and dominoes in order to break Domino Day's world record for most dominoes knocked over. Seriously like when is this gonna happen cause these events are getting bigger and bigger and I say why not just go for the ultimate.

ChillyPotato Yea I feel you there it's worse when you build them ( I do smaller domino courses) but something that annoys me is when people touch the course before it starts cause a kid started the course without us knowing but when we realized it was half way done so I explained to him why he shouldn't touch them

Was soll man dazu sagen außer Respekt an die Bauer :-O So ziemlich jedes Projekt war entweder schwer zu bauen (Dschungel, Fallwall, Pyramide usw) oder riesig, oder beides^^
Die Produktion ist auch top, von Licht und Kamera usw. her man bekommt langsam das Gefühl, Domino Day zu schauen^^

i love this vid bc it is sooo cool!
Das war so toll! Endlich hat es dieses Jahr mit der Autobahn geklappt, letztes Jahr ist die Pyramide ja nicht umgefallen! Die Idee mit den badehosen wa super! Alle drei Weltrekorde waren so riesig! Mit dem weihnachtsmann fand ich es sehr lustig. Due challenge war auch sehr Kreativ und das Einkaufsbild war süß! Das Portrait war so riesig, einfach nur unglaublich! Mit den Lampen fand ich es sehr toll gemacht! Ich fand auch, dass es dieses mal nicht viele Fails waren und alles zusammen ein mega gelungenes Projekt! Ein Lob an alle Bauer die dieses Meisterwerk gebaut haben!

Super Video! Das einzige, was mich stört, sind die Zeitlupen ständig dazwischen, mit der immer gleichen Musik. Das hätte am Ende als Zusammenfassung gereicht. So macht es den Fluß kaputt, finde ich.
+ui. Comedy, Quatsch, Vlogs & mehr! Danke für das Feedback. Problematisch ist, die Verbindungen zwischen den einzelnen Projekten sinnvoll zu kürzen (bspw. zwischen Supermarkt und Tempel waren 90 Sekunden, um den Kameraleuten den Positionswechsel zu ermöglichen). Das war der eigentliche Grund.

Hätte man ja trotzdem einfach einen simplen Schnitt machen können?
