My son became so angry and bitter behind his advances that he turned his back on God and he is now in prison. When I confronted the pastor he then turned the congregation against my son and I. I placed my son in harms way by trusting my pastor. Please listen to what he's saying because it's wisdom from God!
Praying for your son that he will come to know that God loves him and can heal him. We have to use wisdom and rely on God's guidance on who we let our children associate with in the church- whether they are adults, teenagers, or other children. Be watchful. I was raped on active duty in the Army in the 80's, and I still suffer from PTSD and mental disorders stemming from that today. It does get better! Don't take something you can't ever give back! I forgave and moved on.

I took my slow Pre-Teen son to a Child Abuse Clinic for help. Because he in turn had tried that sexual game on a family member youngest than him. They told me that I had to call the Police (from the Child Abuse Clinic), to report my18y.o., gay, male family member, as well as on my slow Pre-Teen son. So, I did. By law medical places are required to report any type of Child Abuse to the Police, but they allowed me to call first. Plus, I had to take him to a Lab for HIV Test & sexual assault counseling. Even though the Police have questioned my slow Pre-Teen Son & the Police decided to drop the case,the Mother of the younger family member (that my son tried the sexual game on aka molestation) holds unforgiveness in her ❤ against my son 19 years later. And her own husband (child's Stepdad) repeatedly raped her 2 young children before she had him arrested & she would go visit him in jail, eventually divorced him. But I've never heard of her bringing up what her husband did, however from time-to-time other family members tell me about her bringing up what my slow Pre-Teen son did in the year 2000. God helped me to forgive all whom were involved.

Kids should have sex education early, and they should know that adults will try to take advantages, teaching them how to talk to such adults, and build their defence is important. It is no other mans responsibility to raise a male child of a single mother besides God the father and the earthly father. It’s not fair to throw that responsibility onto someone who did not share in the pleasure of making that baby. Raise your kids the best you can, and take full responsibility for the actions and choices that created that situation. This is the simple solution vs finding a husband and submitting to a man even for the sake of your son. This is the work around where it doesn’t cost the mother anything upfront, but the child may pay the price. Black folks call this USING.. Its not the pastor, black male teacher, deacon, or anybody else Fatherly responsibility. Put the father on Child Support and drop him off to his Daddy on the weekends, whether he likes it or not. I dont think he is saying its wrong to adapt some form of male guidance for a child that is lacking, I think its more of assuming that because they are in the church that they can do wrong. We are all sinners and all humans and it would be foolish to put them on a pedestal because there is still a chance... Be aware of the unknown and the devils doings and ability to try and take over. Just be aware I think is all.
I hear what you are saying however children don't have discernment and even some adults don't have it. The enemy does what he does and that is kill, steal and destroy. The Bible says trust no man, that includes even those that may be in the church. I have seen it too many times . For years a man was allowed to pastor and molest little boys knowingly. He did this to many boys for years and the presiding bishop at that time did nothing when allegations was brought against him. Finally, he met his match and his fate was murder. As a matter of fact it landed him in First 48 and all that he had done and how he destroyed the lives of so many had finally been uncovered so yes it happens and we have to use wisdom in all things. Cover your children
It is no other mans responsibility to raise a male child of a single mother besides God the father and the earthly father. It’s not fair to throw that responsibility onto someone who did not share in the pleasure of making that baby. Raise your kids the best you can, and take full responsibility for the actions and choices that created that situation. This is the simple solution vs finding a husband and submitting to a man even for the sake of your son. This is the work around where it doesn’t cost the mother anything upfront, but the child may pay the price. Black folks call this USING.. Its not the pastor, black male teacher, deacon, or anybody else Fatherly responsibility. Put the father on Child Support and drop him off to his Daddy on the weekends, whether he likes it or not. Send him to the father new home and address whether he likes it or not. Don’t let men get away with this. And don’t allow that Man to use other men indirectly by having you shift the load to men in the church. This is disgraceful. Nobody owes you anything.

All he is saying is that its not for him! There’s nothing shameful about that, he has enough wisdom to know he cant even trust his flesh considering his background and what he has been through in such situations and God is the giver of such wisdom. The bible admonishes us to flee from sin and to do away with the parts of the body that causes us to sin if we cant keep them under control and that is exactly what hes doing. It doesn’t mean if you leave your kid with him that anything would happen but is he going to take the risk? No!
