It's an amazing rod for the price.
Great clip team :)
Thank You
Nice rod
Hi there, I recently got my Radian stolen from my car ( 9ft 5#) it was by far my favourite 5# so I’m looking for a replacement. Something as close to the action and feel of the Radian as possible, can you please recommend a rod ?
its like the wave
💕Wow💜💜🧡💜💜💜💜
I have this rod and it's fantastic. In my opinion rods have gotten far too stiff (and expensive) in a quest for casting distance and accuracy and the result is they're easy to mess casts up with and they have no feel. I'm casting this rod five feet less than my Helios 3d's best casts but I'm casting this rod that well every single time not 1 out of four like the 3d. I unboxed the Session, threaded a line through the guides (with no reel even) and my first cast was 80 feet. The rod just feels like it's on my side. It loads from any sort of start and when you shoot line it just screams through the guides like you see in pro videos. This is what a nice USA rod should be, not a 1,200 dollar telephone pole.
The price and feel make it one of our new favorites as well! 🙌
Can you compare the Session to my Radian ?
I do hope they went back to a 7” cork grip like they had on the Meridian. Years ago everyone was using a 7” grip, but now, many have gone shorter, just to save on cork. Big mistake. Longer cork makes a fly rod easier to balance correctly with the lighter reels, and measured swing weight would be lower (because your hand grip position is further forward from the reel), plus being more comfortable for those with bigger hands and long fingers. Also hope the grip isn’t slimmed down in diameter too much, that’s always been the problem with the Sage snubnose grip, it’s too narrow for average size hands (causes over-clutching). Can’t wait to try one and ad to my Scott collection.
The grip feels great on the Session!
How is Session compared to Radian?
I’d say it’s almost exactly the same action as the radian.
@@edsflyshop That’s interesting. I have a Radian 905 that I really like. Plan on getting a 6 weight. Was looking at Centric, but Session sounds like a great rod.
@@peterhellstrom2669 The components of the Centric are going to be better. For a great rod and price. This is the rod.
@@edsflyshopI like the components they used on the Radian, not sure how it could be better than that. Perhaps the guides used have lower friction? The contrasting color of that orange reel seat and matching trim thread is always attractive. Can’t wait to try one of these. I thought maybe this was a replacement for the Flex, based on price point with inflation.
Love this funky porn music!!! Nice work gents
I'm glad you like.
What is that guy doing to that poor rod
I don't understand what you're referring to.
Only $650!!!! and when you break the tip you wait 4 months to get it repaired for "free" under warranty but it still somehow costs $125 to fix it??
Love Scott rods but this puke green reel seat is a no no😢
It actually looks pretty nice in person.
I have this rod in an 8 weight and it is so pleasing and works so well, as far as I'm concerned it can look however it wants.
