I have to say I only really starting collecting over 3 months now and only bc I found this channel and I felt like it was time!! I have been collecting for a year now and got around 70 volumes in my collection. Slam Dunk got me into manga after I checked it out where the anime left off. Highly recommend.

Great video as always. But, to answer the question. I've been collecting for about a year and a half now and have 161 volumes (also, people who count omnibus as say 3 volumes in 1 just need to stop). But, I've been reading manga since the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Adventures started back in the mid to late 2000's.

That collection is looking sweet! I have 83 volumes. I started out with my Dragon Ball/DBZ collection from when l was a kid and got back into it last year with recent mangas like Gal Gohan, Tonikawa, Rent A Girlfriend and Uzaki-Chan. I also have 7 Cardcaptor Sakura collector’s editions but didn’t include them since they’re kinda like omnibus. I’d like to get the JoJo ones but l already collect so many things and l don’t really have the room 😅

Two things, have you used a database to catalog your collection and I’m around 800 volumes of manga which don’t include my physical Shonen Jumps. I’ve been collecting off and on since I was in high school

i just got into manga since I saw the Fist of the North Star hardcover (had to pre-order at that time) up on Amazon and it is my very first manga i started. now i have 13 manga volumes (different series).
Little over 550. Omnis counted as 1 volume each. I double dipped on Dragon Ball and Naruto for the Full Color Editions from Italy, so that accounts for about 104 volumes. Started collecting manga in 2004 but took a break. Really jumped back in in 2019.
At the beginning of this year (2021) I had 378 volumes in my collection. It would've been more ,but, I stopped collecting for a few years. I started collecting manga again this year, trying to get at least 6 or more volumes per month. (Depending on if my budget will allow me.) As of the end of June 2021 I have 440 manga volumes. However, I've read WAY more then that in my life time.

Well I guess atm it’s just 7 volumes I started 2 weeks ago I got vol 1-2 of the vizbig dragon ball still waiting for 3-4 and after I get those I’ll get the 5th vol and when I’m done with that I might just get the DBZ box set but haven’t really seen a good offer yet plus I actually really enjoy reading through the vizbig editions. I have the first vol of undead unluck and gotta say I was really surprised of how good it is I’m really enjoying the power system and I love the MC Andy. Today I’m supposed to get 4 omnibus volumes of One piece (man I tried finding single volumes that weren’t just box sets and didn’t find much luck box sets are too pricey for me atm plus the omnibus versions came at a really good price) I finished watching the anime about a month ago I want to see the difference how much better the manga is compared to the anime
Awesome blossom, but you know you're like yellowing the ones wrapped in plastic more don't you? The plastic traps moisture inside which causes yellowing. Moistness, and sunlight are bad.
