You're one of those few women that no matter what you do makeup wise, you just look good, period. That being said, I think pale lipstick gives a washed- out look on anyone. Red just seems to make a face come alive. I wouldn't be caught dead without my red lipstick because I really look dead without it! I do get a lot of criticism for wearing it and that's ok. 😊

❤❤❤ Thank you for sharing your hyacinth plants with us, Nanny! I bought some for our valentine celebration and now I know how sweet the fragrance is from the flowers. When I bought mine at Trader Joe’s, this lady I chatted with told me to smell it and wow that was some sweet fragrance. My first time ever smelling a hyacinth flower. I’m so grateful to that lady who told me to smell it cause I didn’t know it has that sweet fragrance. Now I have a pink, white and purple hyacinth plants. I have taken them outside now after having them inside the house. Man, that sweet fragrance just permeated my little house!

Nanny, I am intimidated by all that makeup stuff. I suppose you can say I am a plain Jane. Sort of. I apply my powder, blush, eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick. I don’t know how to do all that contouring and stuff. I’m fine with the little makeup I put on my face cause that’s all I know about makeup. Maybe one day I can learn how to do all the contouring stuff.

Yet another wonderful video Nanny. My neighbour (a scotsman from the Shetland isles) introduced me to pasta putanesca and told me about its heritage. Next time you try it add the capers and anchovies. Rather than making it more pungent, i think it balances out the flavours better - stops the garlic from stealing the show. You look beautiful today, as always. Love to Moosie ❤😊xx

Greetings from a "neighbor" down here in Westminster, just a stone's throw from Knotts and Disneyland. I enjoy your videos from the low mountains that show our weather as well as your stunning views. Your recipes inspire me to cook even though I loathe everything kitchen related. The putanesca reminded me of a time yearrrs ago when a good friend of mine who was a great cook, served it with story a bit different than yours. She claimed it was "whores pasta" created with hearty ingredients that would bolster their energy between customers. It had to be quick and easy so they could "get back to work quickly."

The garden looks good to me. We still have some snow around here, so no flowers yet. I could almost smell the hyacinth you were bringing inside the cottage . One of my favorite spring flowers. I saw the big blob of heavy rain over California and thought of you and Moose, hopefully safe and dry in your cottage. You look good in your beachy, natural look. The nude lipstick works, but more of a natural effect. Your makeup contouring reminded me of life drawing class when I was in college. Fun. I think your casserole sounds delicious. You do not need to bronze ,your complexion is very good without bronzes older ladies like us best stick with our natural looks ,l use the same foundations but have several shades which l blend together to achieve a natural healthy look at certain times of the year ,love it ,so much fun ,still young in mind ,that's what l need how about you ?Lots of love from sunny España we need some of your rain but the warm days are very welcome ,so lucky .bless you and moosie xx

Hi Nanny. It’s hard to keep mascara off of the skin over your eyes. I have found that ‘’tubing’’ mascara works very well. I just don’t blink fast until it’s had enough time to set up. Isn’t it fun to play with makeup! I love it until I look in the 3X mirror! OOOoooo creamy lips. have you tried Neutrogenia Hydro Boost lip oil. It’s really yummy.

If you can find kalamata olives, they are a ripe olive but with much more flavor, better partner to garlic and other pungent ingredients.
Lovely make up when I tried to do it ha ha I got in a right old mess didn’t turn out to well I have lost weight not been trying to lose it think it’s to do with my illness but were didn’t have much wrinkles on my face now all around my mouth so wrinkly so make up doesn’t look right . I’m so annoyed tried eating more cakes ect to put weight on but just get high blood pressure eating the wrong things so will just have to put up with things how they are . Your make up fine except I like a darker lipstick on you but that’s just me everyone has their own opinions on styles . As you say the birds need help in winter that’s the time to take care of them important, and yes your garden boots great , the Italian meal fantastic Mmmmm lovelly shame Moosie not keen can’t please em all all the time 😂 love and peace to you both thank you for your hard work that you put in for us very appreciated 💕🥰

Nanny, you're always beautiful, and this makeup look is no exception. But, imho, you've been doing your "glow" just fine all along. What works for the younglings, as I call them, isn't always for us mature gals.

Magnification- tells which works for you.
Probably just a hand held or stand alone magnifying mirror up to 10x will help , Joanne..❤️

We haven’t had many squirrels the past few years,Deanna…keeping trees trimmed helps with the tree squirrels and probably cats and dogs help scare away the ground ones.❤️
