Hi there Dear Nanny! What a delightful video! YES, we deserve a Me Day! and this is something I MUST remember! Yes, I'm a Nivea Gal and I prefer to do my own pedicure! My nails are horrible as I'm a gardener and they show it....I thought of you just today as I had a "Make it or Fake it' Day....got a call this afternoon from my sister who asked "Are you home?" I'm on my way up from N.J." (your home state!)... Be there in about an hour!" Woof! a quick table clear, coffee made, table set for coffee and some sweets, straighten the living room and a quick wipe of the bathroom and I was ready!...a fun visit and no one the wiser! fortunately I didn't have to hide any dishes in a wheel barrel.... :) Your Shamu looks so much like our Mr. checkers a great big Tuxedo male who by now weighs about 25 pounds!...Adopted him from the shelter and he is about two years old. Loved your outfit and matching jewelry and cute hat. Lately due to your wonderful encouragement and example....I am really beginning to enjoy thrifting and even more so.... putting together nice outfits and jewelry. motto being "Look Good, Feel Good" and it works. It’s amusing to me but I resell my clothes to Plato’s closet which caters to younger ppl and they beg me for my clothes ha. I’m glad you got in some self care and don’t be so hard on your feet. I think they’re pretty only you need some neon pink or coral on them😍it was so sweet how Shamoo kept touching your toes and dress. What a sweetie! I enjoyed spending time with you and Shamu in your beautiful garden. It is so important to take care of ourselves-we can’t pour from an empty cup. I am pretty low maintenance, preferring to do nails etc. I do treat myself to a good haircut which I find easy to handle between visits. Enjoy your weekend. 🙏❤️

Weather weary here in the Ohio Valley. Now that I have my electricity on - trying to cook, shower and wash hair, charge things, do laundry and prepare for 2 more days of severe weather. Also trying to keep my dog calm with all the fireworks. My cholesterol is finally in normal ranges. I have been fasting for over a year 19/5 - I think it's working. Down about 25-30 pounds and normal cholesterol - first time in years. Love the Mary Kay - it's the best!

Love this video because you remind me to slow down and take care of myself. I’m 73 with dry skin and live in the desert. I garden and raise silky chickens so spend lots of time outside. I love the feel of soil so don’t wear gloves often and garden in flipflops. You get the picture. Lol So thanks, I’m going to get a pedicure at the shop next to Walmart soon. Love to Moosie.🌷✨🌵

I am 72 and my nails have not gotten thick yet but I know what you mean. My Mars nails got very thick the older she got. Dave used to use tools from the garage to take care of her toenails. I know he used a Dremel tool, and I can’t remember the names of the other ones, but it made a huge difference. You look so pretty, I love your pants, and the hat looks great on you! This afternoon, I decided to give my feet a deep softening treatment with Dr. Scholl's foot booties and then a nice at home pedicure. I am so relaxed and refreshed and you look relaxed and refreshed! Hello Nanny & Moose, Loved your lasagna Bundt show! The love you have for each other is so apparent. My husband and I are the same way. Jesus is the reason. He is the glue Who holds us together. Seeing you two does my heart good. Also, the lasagna turned out so great! It had to be yummy! Larry made Beef Enchiladas last night. It was my best friend’s recipe. She’s been gone many years from cancer. Well anyway, it was the best thing I’ve ever tasted! He used a chuck roast, put it in the crock pot for about five hours to make it fork tender. I don’t even like enchiladas, but these were the bomb! I love it when you go to Savers and take us along with you. And I loved when you did the updo show. I have a UTI monthly. I’m constantly on Pyridium. I’m allergic to about every antibiotic known to man. I have to take a low dose antibiotic daily, but it doesn’t help much. I have a UTI right now. I also have stones and back problems. I will be praying for you. My husband and I pray together. I asked for healing for Moose and you. My husband asked “who is Nanny & Moose?” I told him I would show him. And I did. I think he likes you two also. He’s good with anything that makes me happy. He just left to get me more Pyridium.🙄 I have a spare room for my clothes closet as well. It’s also for shoes, scarves, jewelry and purses. I am also diabetic. Nannie, oh yes you can still buy the Mary Kay emollient night treatment from any Mary Kay representative. I order three tubes at a time through an acquaintance of mine who just happens to be a Mary Kay representative. This is great stuff…it also smells very nice. I’ve been using this product for many years!!! This is one of the first products ever sold by Mary Kay, so I just cannot imagine it ever being discontinued…!!!!! I seem to remember hearing that this is the product that really gave Mary Kay her big boost in the world of cosmetics…!!! I use it on my feet and elbows at night and on my hands, especially my cuticles, all during the day. I also like to slather it on my hands at night and wear cotton gloves to bed to keep it from getting on my bed linens and my nightgown. I only use it on my face if it gets really dry. I use the Nivea creme on my face, neck, décolleté and shoulders-it’s great stuff, too…!!!

Shortly after moving into my home, a black and white stray showed up on the property. I suspected that the people that lived in the house prior, abandoned him. He was neutered and such a sweet boy. I fed him and he became the outside cat. Fast forward many years and another stray appeared on the property. He was more of a feral cat and he immediately became dominant over my old boy. My old boy also became anxious and timid. I hated to chase the feral away as he was in need too. I trapped him and got him neutered. This helped some but he was still the dominant cat. My old boy adapted until he passed away several years ago. My feral missed him and still misses him… I can tell by how he searches the property for him. Such is the world of animals.

I have always been a believer in nature. I like my white hair and more and more I take advantage of my curls it’s more practical and as it’s hot I let it dry naturally. As I also have very dry skin I started to follow your advice and I started to use Nívea which I mix with 3 drops of Mosqueta oil (oil extracted from roses) which is said to be very good for the skin. I just ordered the healthy feet cream. I checked the ingredients in the cream in the tube vs the jar. My dermatologist said to use lactic acid on my rough areas on my feet. There is lastic acid in the tube and not the jar. FYI. ❤😊
Nanny,I have been using Noxema skin cream/ cleanser since I was in my teens& I love all their products. I have hardly any wrinkles. It's what works.I use Centrum silver& d,b cranberry& probiotic. So nothing to expensive. I'm also a diabetic & use baking soda/ vinegar gets all dead skin off. I am 75. We girls go through alot huh! Kitty is so cute.😊

Very informative Nanny! I love my me days too! I do love pedicures. The massage on my feet and calves are heavenly! I love very deep tissue massages. When feet are massaged properly it is very healthy for the whole body. The beautiful chair that they have you seated in also has a built-in massager that massages your whole back and neck while you are getting the pedicure. You have a control device so you can make the massager going up and down your back as strong as you like. When I'm done I feel like I'm walking on clouds!! My body is so relaxed and my feet are beautiful! 😂🥰

From the time I was a little girl I wanted to be a nun!!! If you knew me this would give you quite a laugh. However I was ALWAYS devoted to Jesus from the time I started to learn of Him and my Catholic religion. I wanted this so badly until one day on summer school vacation I was in a music store with my best friend looking at 45 records. From across the isle I saw a gorgeous boy that was the same age as us. We were 12 at the time. Well long story short that day my invisible "habit" went flying off my body lol 😂!!! I was gifted from God being born with what you would say is an ability to know things before they happen. I said to my friend that day "see that guy over there I'm going to marry him one day". And I did!!! Sadly very sadly the marriage ended because of awful circumstances. My mother!! She was an extremely nasty woman who didn't like me and didn't want me to marry this man. I have lived with a broken 💔 heart for decades. Nanny I think 🤔 I just told you a "rabbit hole story"!!! 😂 Hang in there Nanny you're a blessing to me and that bump in the road is going to be straight ahead in a while!!! I’m using both Nivea cream and collagen peptides because of your recommendation. You know, fish oil can be constipating, and Metamucil capsules (Walmart generic) can counteract that. Thanks for sharing your tips with us!

Love this video because you remind me to slow down and take care of myself. I’m 73 with dry skin and live in the desert. I garden and raise silky chickens so spend lots of time outside. I love the feel of soil so don’t wear gloves often and garden in flipflops. You get the picture. Lol So thanks, I’m going to get a pedicure at the shop next to Walmart soon. Love to Moosie.🌷✨🌵

Hi Naomi, so glad you had a “me day”! I desperately need one, but I have so much going on right now that I barely have time to breathe. I am 72 and my nails have not gotten thick yet but I know what you mean. My Mars nails got very thick the older she got. Dave used to use tools from the garage to take care of her toenails. I know he used a Dremel tool, and I can’t remember the names of the other ones, but it made a huge difference. You look so pretty, I love your pants, and the hat looks great on you! Hello Nanny & Moose, Loved your lasagna Bundt show! The love you have for each other is so apparent. My husband and I are the same way. Jesus is the reason. He is the glue Who holds us together. Seeing you two does my heart good. Also, the lasagna turned out so great! It had to be yummy! Larry made Beef Enchiladas last night. It was my best friend’s recipe. She’s been gone many years from cancer. Well anyway, it was the best thing I’ve ever tasted! He used a chuck roast, put it in the crock pot for about five hours to make it fork tender. I don’t even like enchiladas, but these were the bomb! I love it when you go to Savers and take us along with you. And I loved when you did the updo show. I have a UTI monthly. I’m constantly on Pyridium. I’m allergic to about every antibiotic known to man. I have to take a low dose antibiotic daily, but it doesn’t help much. I have a UTI right now. I also have stones and back problems. I will be praying for you. My husband and I pray together. I asked for healing for Moose and you. My husband asked “who is Nanny & Moose?” I told him I would show him. And I did. I think he likes you two also. He’s good with anything that makes me happy. He just left to get me more Pyridium.🙄 I have a spare room for my clothes closet as well. It’s also for shoes, scarves, jewelry and purses. I am also diabetic. I have to start putting shots in my stomach. Just another day in paradise. Wink* Blessings to you and Moose. Love & Prayers,

Nannie, oh yes you can still buy the Mary Kay emollient night treatment from any Mary Kay representative. I order three tubes at a time through an acquaintance of mine who just happens to be a Mary Kay representative. This is great stuff…it also smells very nice. I’ve been using this product for many years!!! This is one of the first products ever sold by Mary Kay, so I just cannot imagine it ever being discontinued…!!!!! I seem to remember hearing that this is the product that really gave Mary Kay her big boost in the world of cosmetics…!!! I use it on my feet and elbows at night and on my hands, especially my cuticles, all during the day. I also like to slather it on my hands at night and wear cotton gloves to bed to keep it from getting on my bed linens and my nightgown. I only use it on my face if it gets really dry. I use the Nivea creme on my face, neck, décolleté and shoulders-it’s great stuff, too…!!!

Shortly after moving into my home, a black and white stray showed up on the property. I suspected that the people that lived in the house prior, abandoned him. He was neutered and such a sweet boy. I fed him and he became the outside cat. Fast forward many years and another stray appeared on the property. He was more of a feral cat and he immediately became dominant over my old boy. My old boy also became anxious and timid. I hated to chase the feral away as he was in need too. I trapped him and got him neutered. This helped some but he was still the dominant cat. My old boy adapted until he passed away several years ago. My feral missed him and still misses him… I can tell by how he searches the property for him. Such is the world of animals.
Such a similar situation to mine, Patti…Ghost has been gone for a few days again…and I see such a calmer demeanor in Shamu…thanks for sharing…❤️

Good afternoon Nanny. Beautiful as always Nanny. There is nothing like a day just for taking care of us. I personally don’t like Spas either. I prefer to take care of myself. I have always been a believer in nature. I like my white hair and more and more I take advantage of my curls it’s more practical and as it’s hot I let it dry naturally. As I also have very dry skin I started to follow your advice and I started to use Nívea which I mix with 3 drops of Mosqueta oil (oil extracted from roses) which is said to be very good for the skin. Greetings Nanny! Ahhh, a spa day! I used to get pedicures, but they really hurt my feet and I would often bleed. I guess I have sensitive feet or something. You look so lovely today! And you know I just love Shamu!! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
I just ordered the healthy feet cream. I checked the ingredients in the cream in the tube vs the jar.
My dermatologist said to use lactic acid on my rough areas on my feet.
There is lastic acid in the tube and not the jar. FYI.

Nanny,I have been using Noxema skin cream/ cleanser since I was in my teens& I love all their products. I have hardly any wrinkles. It's what works.I use Centrum silver& d,b cranberry& probiotic. So nothing to expensive. I'm also a diabetic & use baking soda/ vinegar gets all dead skin off. I am 75. We girls go through alot huh! Kitty is so cute.😊

Very informative Nanny! I love my me days too! I do love pedicures. The massage on my feet and calves are heavenly! I love very deep tissue massages. When feet are massaged properly it is very healthy for the whole body. The beautiful chair that they have you seated in also has a built-in massager that massages your whole back and neck while you are getting the pedicure. You have a control device so you can make the massager going up and down your back as strong as you like. When I'm done I feel like I'm walking on clouds!! My body is so relaxed and my feet are beautiful! 😂🥰

For some reason I believe that God wanted you to slow down and take a rest for a while. HE works in strange ways but always for our greater good! If you ask me you're doing great!!! Sometimes we all need a "staycation" as they say!! I continue every day to pray 🙏🏼for you and Moosie. Maybe I should tell you something about me. From the time I was a little girl I wanted to be a nun!!! If you knew me this would give you quite a laugh. However I was ALWAYS devoted to Jesus from the time I started to learn of Him and my Catholic religion. I wanted this so badly until one day on summer school vacation I was in a music store with my best friend looking at 45 records. From across the isle I saw a gorgeous boy that was the same age as us. We were 12 at the time. Well long story short that day my invisible "habit" went flying off my body lol 😂!!! I was gifted from God being born with what you would say is an ability to know things before they happen. I said to my friend that day "see that guy over there I'm going to marry him one day". And I did!!! Sadly very sadly the marriage ended because of awful circumstances. My mother!! She was an extremely nasty woman who didn't like me and didn't want me to marry this man. I have lived with a broken 💔 heart for decades. Nanny I think 🤔 I just told you a "rabbit hole story"!!! 😂 Hang in there Nanny you're a blessing to me and that bump in the road is going to be straight ahead in a while!!! I’m using both Nivea cream and collagen peptides because of your recommendation. You know, fish oil can be constipating, and Metamucil capsules (Walmart generic) can counteract that. Thanks for sharing your tips with us!
