I especially love the Next Fest recs :) ty! And I missed the fact that Death of the Reprobate had a demo!! After ~30 demos played here's my highlight of games not mentionned in your Next Fest vids, if anyone's looking for more: - Pyrene (great push-your-luck roguelike) - shapez 2 (ultimate factory building) - DICEOMANCER (insanely creative deckbuilder) [PLAY THIS!!!] - Flock (cute exploration and critters collecting) - Rack and Slay (fun billards roguelike) - Reus 2 (terraforming planets with adjacency bonuses) - Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure (fatory building.. but with pikmins) - Star Stuff (puzzle with very simple robot programming) - Emberward (roguelike tower defense with tetris maze building) - Breachway (deckbuilder FTL with different energy systems) - Infest (wild falling sand deckbuilder???) - Astronomics (cozy? asteroid mining with drones) - Factories of Golden Waters (mini metro with boats)
"Godsworn" is gameplay-wise most similar to Warcraft III, only instead of training your hero, you pick one from the start. My own Steam Next Fest picks are "9-Bit armies: A bit too far", "Global Conflagration" (if only you could pause in the skirmish mode), "Realm of Ink" and "Never Grave: the witch and the curse".
Shadow of the Depth - Anything Gauntlet like with top-down dungeon crawling plus clear visuals and solid hack n' slash or magic missile AOE should deliver on the promise of fun. Looks promising! Pampas & Selene - retro Knight-Mage or 2UP! metroidvania - Looks like the most charming and fun of the lot! Already on my list of indie games to look out for. NO WAY! It's from dev of Unepic! INSTA-BUY! Thanks Clemmy you've unearthed a jewel here.
My picks for this Next Fest 1. Ultros 2. (tie) Crypt Custodian & Mendacium 4. Awaken - Astral Blade 5. Never Grave: The Witch and the Curse 6. Moonbriar 7. Chlidren of the Sun 8. Deathbound
Great list as usual! Two games I hope you will cover soon that are new. One of them being "Rollin' Rascal", a colorful 3D platformer like Sonic the Hedgehog which recently started their Kickstarter campaign and was fully funded in 12 hours! The other is "Duskfade", a very colorful Action Adventure/Action RPG with some Kingdom Hearts vibe which will soon start their Kickstarter!
I'm assuming "The Diner at the End of the Galaxy" is inspired by Douglas Adam's "Restaurant at the End of the Universe". And if it is, I assume then the developer is an awesome person, and if so, I assume the game must be likewise awesome.
Awita Journey of Hope and Mark of the deep are exactly my kinda games. Immediately went to Steam to check them out more. Though yea my most wanted is definitely 1.0 of Forgive Me Father 2. Loving Early access. Thanks Clemmy ☺️
Another cool game I found recently that I hope you will showcase: Glyde The Dragon Looks to be a very Spyro the Dragon-like game but with alot more combat like an Action RPG. It is also very colorful like the Spyro games themselves are!

I can’t believe you haven’t mentioned Harold Halibut!! I’ve been watching this games development for 6 years and it deserves a mention!m
Looking forward to Awita, seems a very fun metroidvania!
Wow, Amazing list! Literally everyone either went into my to-buy list or was already there. Great work!
this channel just keeps on delivering! thanks for all the hard work!
Love the video cover art. Where does it come from? Which game?
First one
i am glad you are making more videos about the next fest, keep them coming! they are great
Neoproxima demo got a great mystery sci-fi vibe
Hurray for random indie metroidvanias!

Keep up the great work, 90% of the games I play I discovered on this channel
There is a game named " Rollin Rascal " ( a sonic spin off ) I think you should give it a chance , but I am not sure if it's an indie game
Sweet. Barely seeing anyone covering this
Hey this was really useful. I found 2 games I picked up from this!
Pampas and Selene seems inspired by Legacy of the Wizard.
Maze of Galious actually from the MSX. Though Legacy of the Wizard and Milon's Secret Castle are both referenced well by people who play the demo
Why for Top5 games are not names in video description ?
+3 games to wishlist Ty ;)
You don't usually go for party games but theres one that looks fun Farm your Friends
Cool definitely some good indie games there
Al que se parece Godsworn es al Warcraft III.
The weird silksong
Typo in the title? Should be 2024? Not 2023
difficult if everything will be compared to stardew valley if you don't like it as much^^
All of them?
2023? So 2000 and late......
trash of the titans is great
Good Good Good Good
It's this last year's list?
Did you read this one?
