Thanks Dan. I would agree, that was an incredible catch, especially since there was not even an ounce of heads-up for that train or any prior knowledge that that set of power was in the area; I simply got lucky!
I know there supposed to have lights on at all times but why do the always have there lights dim and then turn the headlights on high along with the ditch lights like on 15T and the local after it? I know there supposed to have them on bright while at a crossing and off when doing a pass but why not leave them on bright all the time when not in those two situations?
I think they had just made a pass of trackside workers just out of the distance (hence why they were running opposite main), that explains why the lights were probably left dim until the crossing.
That Pan Am #3400 was the leader on many NS freights at various locations on the Buffalo line in the video!
Back when NS was cool!
5:57 One of the most peculiarly awesome sounding horns I've heard from a train.
That sounds like a fouled P5 horn.
LOVE IT
Woah! NS 2516 sounds like a futuristic train! and ns 6704 is an ex conrail
True the horn is just so good on that engine.
Kick ass video! definitely subscribing!
Me Too!!! I Will Subscribe To You
Unlike many train production dvds, I enjoy viewing videos like yours because you show the whole train.

NotYourAverageGaming 11 Why can't BNSF be this consistent?
That's a SD70 leader, not a SD60. 3rd is a SD40E

Awesome video, Eric! Great catches in there, my favorite had to be the blue CN leader though!
Thanks Dan. I would agree, that was an incredible catch, especially since there was not even an ounce of heads-up for that train or any prior knowledge that that set of power was in the area; I simply got lucky!
