I was watching a podcast with Alex Rudd and a pond management expert. Apparently there is a lot to balancing the ecosystem. I'd look into it if you ultimately want a big bass factory. One thing that came to mind is if you want big bass, you do not want crappie. They spawn earlier than any other species in the year and they are amazing predators when it comes to eating sunfish and bass fry.

Generally stock the bass fingerlings prior to bluegill and red ear. Since they will also eat the bait intended for the bass. Would also stock thread fin Shad as well.

Planting trees can help shade and cool the water during the hot summer months. It gives a place for fish to hide from direct sunlight as well. Willows and other water tolerant trees can all work

You should come to Colorado and do some high alpine fishing! There are some really big and super vibrant fish to be caught! Lemme know I got some spots
@Jon B. You should get a fountain going in the pond for more oxygen and moving water. Maybe think about shade trees that won't effect the pond liner, would be nice to have shade to cool the water down if its real warm.
Some diffusers for the water would work great.

Add a bunch of brush in that shallow area u release the baby fish in and add a small section of fence across it to keep the larger bass out of

U can also add a floating pallet with some old Christmas tree tied to each corner tie a rope in the middle underneath with a cinder block to hold it in place. Add empty 2ltr pop bottles under it for flotation bass love the shade and ambush point they provide all our biggest bass hide under them

I have no clue what went wrong with your pump, but for a box like that, I like to dust the inside with diataomatious earth and put a nice ring around the outside to keep the bugs out.

Idk how that pump system works but There’s probably a circuit breaker of fuse in that power box. I’m guessing the pump seized at some point which back fed or overworked the circuit and then fried the fuse or breaker.

They won’t grow that big without mussels. They shell crackers, that’s why they grow big here in lake havasu
When does NS3 come out?
you should fish big swimbaits and put those fish you catch in your pond
Try wiring in a new connector. If you have loose terminal tension it will arc from tab to tab. It won't trip a fuse because it's not pulling excessive amperage. However the small arcs will melt the connector. Condensation can form in there and depending on the temperature it can freeze and expand causing terminal tension issues. Just a shot in the dark without seeing the set up in person. If I'm wrong I apologize.
