I remember how you didn't want to air a negative experience recently. You didn't want to hurt someone's business. This is what made people love you, Max. You have a caring heart. Those hard-working vendors aren't rich... They deserve our support. It is heart-wrenching to think how some random TH-camrs, just to make a little content, ruined some poor people's livelihoods. Good for you, Max, for defending those hard-working vendors! Stay kind and pure. I wish you the best of success because you deserve it!
Although I agree that many businesses face challenges to stay open during COVID. However, customers health is equally important. I bought a dish for my 2 year old in California restaurant, he got food poisoning. I didn’t know why he cried during the night. The next morning when I finished his leftovers, I got sick and knew why he cried. There are two sides to the story.
@Dirty Raynor this is the thing these businesses want good reviews, but not bad one. The will gladly set them self up on trip advisor for great reviews. If it's bad it's bad. I stopped giving any reviews in SE Asia. If it's good they want and solicit for it. If its bad they don't want and they don't want to fix the problem. You can have your cake and eat it too.

Thank you Max for bringing this issue into the light.👍🏻 This is the vendor's livelihood. I seriously doubt the TH-camrs, at the core of the problem, could get up and begin work at 5am for 40yrs. They don't want to put forth the effort because they have no work ethics. I'll see numerous channels soliciting viewers from legit channels every day. I can't imagine the horrible treatment the vendors have endured to react so strongly. I enjoyed your food . Everything looked delicious.
@@BL-db6xt That's correct. In a recent video, the lady venders, tell him they push the heavy cart to it's designated spot before setting it up. They also prepare the food at home. Also , there is one lady who Carrie's the food through the market after the lunch crowd has been served. They deserve respect as humans but have also earned the respect. When he shared how they had been treated I was ashamed. I honestly don't know how anyone could hurt them in this way. I am so sorry that happened to them.

I didn't usually eat breakfast before, but lately every time I watch your video in the morning, I have to find food right away. My mom is glad for that!
Banh mi are getting fancier now a days. I grew up in Da Nang and there’s a lady with a small cart in front of our house that sells banh mi with just cha with rau ram, some kind of peanut/chilli sauce cucumber it was simple but delish.
Big love to you, Max. Love the way you always support local businesses. Unlike those Vietnamese youtubers keep making money for big restaurant groups or foreign companies. Those ladies are the one making good Vietnamese food but get underrated than korean or Japanese food in their own country.

What I like about Max is that Max is always positive and genuine about his reviews. Max tries to point out the positivity of the restaurants he went to (cusine, recipe, environment,...) , and he hardly criticizes any restaurant. Whether you like it doesn't necessarily mean that other people also like it as well. I think Max understands that, and in his videos, Max is always tend to be a supportive guy. I love it. In the end of the day, just because you don't like it personally, it isn't necessary to rise your opinion. Your opinion might hurt a small business.
