Holy shit, this was phenomenal! Vie Hana genuinely sounds like the actual singer from I Burn, and Brandon captured the feel of how DMC was represented. Never cease to amaze me Brandon!
The impression I get from this song is "what if Vergil was Yang's dad?" And I guess alternately "what if Nero and Yang are fraternal twins?" I imagine Raven would still yeet the babies into Taiyang's custody somehow lol Oh! What if instead of Yang losing her arm it's Nero pushing her away somehow and have him losing his arm... And Vergil out of nowhere picked it up, and leaving with the Yamato. God, imagine the drama of Nero and Yang dealing with their birth parents being deadbeats.
Always felt like that song kinda was left in the shadow of Blazing Fury, so seeing it getting a vocal version is really nice. As others have said, the vocal additions to this song make it sound like a really good mix of « I Burn » and DMC music. It’s not a straight up copy of either but takes good points of both songs/franchises to do something that’s pretty freaking epic. Also it doesn’t have the rap part so that’s wonderful. Instead replacing them with background vocals that fit with the DMC side of things wonderfully. As for the lyrics themselves, I do appreciate how they take from both I Burn and Devil Trigger too. Same as the overall sounding of the song, the lyrics themselves take from both source materials without being simple copies of them and that’s pretty epic. Overall I don’t have that much to say about the song (a mix of just having woken up, being on phone and not knowing either characters well enough) but it doesn’t remove from the fact that the vocal additions to the song benefited it infinitely, giving it a much more unique personality to make it stand out from Blazing Fury along with just sounding really nice as a whole. If I had to make a statement about it, I’d say that this song probably is on the top rankings when it comes to « best inclusion/mix of source materials in the music » of all commissions. Given, both source materials work wonderfully well together, true. But that’s still no easy fit. So amazing job as always with this.
Nero wins this you can scale semblance however you want. The fact of the matter is Nero scales directly to both Sin devil trigger Dante and Virgil stepping between and stopping a full force blow from both of them making him Minimum Complex Multiversal.
I may want Nero Vs Hellboy, but man, does this rock better than the original. The lyrics with Vieehana and Yates makes it feel like a fight I want to see, because that is how good the music was. Awesome song overall, and I hope to see more rocking soundtrack like this in the future. Stay awesome.

You're on a roll with these vocal versions. This is the best parts of RWBY and DMC5's soundtracks, from the music to the lyrical blend of "I Burn" and "Devil Trigger". I love it all.
I feel like this match up would be like a more cocky All Might bs Might Guy. The two just having a good time wanting to test each other while killing dozens of Grimm and devils
Interesting point for Nero is that unlike Yang he can still fight without his arm. He spent most of his life training in the order while hiding his Devil Bringer in a sling which counter balanced one of yangs few advantages the fact that her arm is more durable then the devil breakers.
Nero was part of the Order for a couple years. He only got the Devil Bringer a month prior to the start of the game. But during that month, yes, he was fighting demons with only 1 arm.

As someone with a base knowledge of DMC and someone who avoids RWBY like the plague, to my knowledge this match is a MASSIVE stomp in Nero's favor, unless Yang has some multiversal feats I dont know about

Gotta love the mix between I Burn and Devil Trigger blended into the good ol heavy metal that DMC is known for. Of course the "this devil may burn you alive" reference with the title of the games is cheeky too. Overall great track. Shame that this matchup couldn't be anymore one sided.

Between Nero and Yang I think based on RWBY canon alone Nero wins easily due to vastly superior stats. But with BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle scaling thanks to BlazBlue and Persona 4, Yang would definitely be more on par with Nero. Thus making this way more close with some scenarios she legitimately could win.

Both would be Outer and Immeasurable and thus it could would come down to their own abilities and such.

Overall I don’t have that much to say about the song (a mix of just having woken up, being on phone and not knowing either characters well enough) but it doesn’t remove from the fact that the vocal additions to the song benefited it infinitely, giving it a much more unique personality to make it stand out from Blazing Fury along with just sounding really nice as a whole. If I had to make a statement about it, I’d say that this song probably is on the top rankings when it comes to « best inclusion/mix of source materials in the music » of all commissions. Given, both source materials work wonderfully well together, true. But that’s still no easy fit. So amazing job as always with this.
Nero wins this you can scale semblance however you want. The fact of the matter is Nero scales directly to both Sin devil trigger Dante and Virgil stepping between and stopping a full force blow from both of them making him Minimum Complex Multiversal.

Interesting point for Nero is that unlike Yang he can still fight without his arm. He spent most of his life training in the order while hiding his Devil Bringer in a sling which counter balanced one of yangs few advantages the fact that her arm is more durable then the devil breakers.
Nero was part of the Order for a couple years. He only got the Devil Bringer a month prior to the start of the game.
But during that month, yes, he was fighting demons with only 1 arm.

@jojogacha974 the arm aorta manifests with his demon powers, but he can erase it... for some reason. It's really weird and not really explained, it's probably just an excuse for post-game Nero to have both Devil Bringers and Devil Trigger

As someone with a base knowledge of DMC and someone who avoids RWBY like the plague, to my knowledge this match is a MASSIVE stomp in Nero's favor, unless Yang has some multiversal feats I dont know about

Gotta love the mix between I Burn and Devil Trigger blended into the good ol heavy metal that DMC is known for. Of course the "this devil may burn you alive" reference with the title of the games is cheeky too. Overall great track. Shame that this matchup couldn't be anymore one sided.

Between Nero and Yang I think based on RWBY canon alone Nero wins easily due to vastly superior stats.
But with BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle scaling thanks to BlazBlue and Persona 4, Yang would definitely be more on par with Nero. Thus making this way more close with some scenarios she legitimately could win.
To counter the composite Yang scaling, I use SMT Nero scaling.
Basically an insta win.

While I do buy Low Complex for both BlazBlue and Persona (compared to Outer SMT) I have heard arguments for Outer Persona as well... Which Yang scales to regardless through Cross Tag Battle.
So regardless the results wouldn't change at all if we factor that scaling in instead. Both would be Outer and Immeasurable and thus it could would come down to their own abilities and such.

If I knew Yang’s personality I would definitely try to think how the fight would go besides the fact that Nero wins. Though it would be funny to see him fly around on punch line. Also just have sweet surrender there and Nero quickly blows it up then punches Yang in the face from embarrassment since he basically pulled a vibrator out in the middle of a fight. (I’m not joking it’s an actual devil breaker in dmc5. It heals Nero.)
