For those interested in learning it it is from a youtuber called "Icarus - First Cohort - BaseBuilding" Icarus Circular Build Technique - Another Way to Look At It. Thanks Josh for putting this together so quickly.
i personally like your double sided wall going to try to implement that technique next time, i had problems before with storms using that method. maybe my next building its going to be inside a cave cuz i need the antigravity propieties of a cave next time.
People here are making small cities or huge megastructures and I am just happy with my rectangle house ... Have to enroll in a masterclass one of these days!

I think its great to provide an opportunity to everyone to have their base presented - but its really stunning to see so many different creative visions brought to life. These demonstrate how players can really take what is a somewhat limited system and nevertheless do astonishing things with it. I always come away with my mind reeling from all the clever things that I see everyone doing. Kudos for doing all the visits and filming for this! Kudos to all the builders!
by watching all bases, ive noticed more building technics, in my mind there is ton of new ideas now for the next build 3.0. i hope they release a new biome or area for the next video... and all the hard work is worth to make this amazing buildings...

Impressive Work, Thanks for the Showcases. i just have ONE Question and i would LIKE to understand how ALL of you Glass Builders maintain your hudge Walls and Roofs. I mean thru every Storm u recieve Damage and need to repair Things right ??? At least i have a Build Mixture out of Concrete and Glass. ONLY Glass Walls and not on the Roof. I am nearly annoyed about how often i have to fix Things which slightly leads me into exchanging it thru some other Materials. I want to keep it - would someone please tell me your Secrets ??? Thank you !
You can build Concrete Half Floor Pieces and hang them over any tier structure and it shouldn't take storm damage. Also you can make reinforced Glass with a Glass working bench connected to water with the water tool which is the same strength of stone. I've never had serious issues with repairing stone personally but concrete is completely immune to storms currently. If you have any more questions or need a diagram of what I mean I could send examples in our discord. Thanks for watching!

Sounds like the first Layer counts for Impacts, in that Case if concrete stands above others, everything below it wont recieve Damage ? Do i pick this right ? Thanks Bro

GOW base is very cool love the creative thought of lets make it 50 blocks tall. really neat and original as they all are but that one spoke to me :-)

Sorry the concrete has to overlap the glass to protect it

I’m unsure to be honest, they stated it took hours of placing pillars just to get the base up so I’m guessing they used free placement

How to make the double roofing seen in the first build? Anyone know?
I don’t know but the man is in our discord if you wanna ask him it involves placing pillars twice in one area I think to get snaps for it

Seems to be better then stone you can also just put concrete on your roof and build what ever you want under it.
@@LateNightStream that's true just then have to repair the wall but the roof not breaking is a good thing
I don't think people know they can use the reinforced window and a glass window together
They may have just chosen not to do that, who knows.
