Thanks for the video, friend, but I like the fog. Maybe someone can help - I'm looking for a mod or setting in the files to increase the health and aggression of animals. At a high level of pumping you are "Terminator" and it's sad to play. I play hardcore. p.s. sorry, English is not my native language.

Just to correct you, when you said without using mods, what you're doing is considered a mod. Mod is a shorter version of the word modify.

Thanks a lot for this tip. Prometheus is my favourite map but I found myself starting to avoid the swamp and murky areas as I am sick of not seeing the beautiful world. Be nice if there was a slider in the videosettings that let us tone down the fog without total removal.

Odd. For some reason it doesn't work for me. Is it linked to some other graphic settings? (I've even reset the game multiple times)

My son is a software engineer and he looked at Prometheus one day and said ... "Yeah, they did that in an attempt to improve performance", but it ended up not mattering. I've always found the fog to be annoying.

I've started playing prometheus 5 days ago, and I've searched for this as soon as I've went 1 hour into the map... The map is so dark even at day time, and the fog just makes it worse, I couldn't bear playing it like that, it strains my eye too much I've tried with fog 1 and then 0. On the bonus side, it increased my FPS count by a lot as well

I was on the fence about this - but after seeing Prometheus entirely without fog I think I'm going to do it. The fog does convey some of the "alien" nature to the planet but without it, the views are much nicer. Thanks for the detailed tutorial on how to change it! Cheers, JW

Thanks Josh for making the video. The change can be seen from the character selection screen. So before even getting into the game you can know if it is working. The 2 settings are different things and you can do just one. i use only volumetric. Note that if there is ever a change to the engine file by the devs this will need to be redone. I had put together a github but video is so much better.🌈

I hope they make different build blocks, like instead of doing manual round buildings, there should be a corner and different pieces. 😂 Also, I want more missions. I just finished prometheus missions, and now I’m bored. I want to build, but then I get frustrated because of the build blocks. I want to build a legit house like I can with 7 days to die build blocks. I want to be a rich, cozy, mansion prospector lol 😂 All jokes aside, I will keep watching if you decide to play another game. ❤

Is there pvp in this game

Really wanted to play this game but my pc constantly crashes on it. And my pc is not an old or bad one. Also.... motion sickness and bad. Adjusting settings or meds didn't help so far. Sad noises because I really wanted to play more of this :(

I’d love to have more incentive to fight the bosses. The sandworm and scorpion boss gear just sucks so much.
