- Virtual walk through Stockholm. We start out in the dark, by Nybroviken. Walk Nybrogatan as the shops start to prepare for the busy day ahead, when we reach Östermalmstorg we decide to change direction. Greg Turegatan, through Sturegallerian, then Kungsgatan. Then it’s time for breakfast.

It was nice seeing the boats with the lights snow on the ground everything looked so pretty. I enjoyed the window shopping. Everything looked so good in the bakery. Thank you for braving the cold, snow and early morning hour to bring this nice snowy walk!

I used to spend my summers in Sweden. A while ago now, in my 20’s, in the 70’s. I have never been during the winter. One day …. .

Stockholm i vinterskrud, snyggt. I just came back home after a winter photo promenade at home in Haninge. I met two guys riding bikes on the unploughed roads, impressed me a bit. God fortsättning.

Oh, the cottage was a permanent home to people with less efficient heating than we got now! Still, us weaklings can only enjoy it if temperatures are not more than 5 below freezing…

There is a German expression that I like, Fingerspitzengefühl. It's written all over your channel. It beautifully captures your ability to find the right video, or music, for the mood of the moment
Or fingertoppskänsla in Swedish. (Perhaps we somehow took it from Low/High German, don't know.)
@@herrbonk3635 Yes, there are similarities between Swedish and German, which makes it easier for me to understand your language. I didn't know that you have practically the same word, but you learn every day, right? Tack
@@franbric5640 Indeed, Swedish has lots of similarities with Low German/Platt and Dutch, but also with High German and modern German.
Being fluent in English (as you are) should help as well. English and Scandinavian are often "surprisingly" close. Especially in syntax, but also in word ethymology. Using your first sentence above as an example: _Ja, det är likheter mellan svenska och tyska, vilket gör det enklare för mig att förstå ert språk._ Exactly the same word order there.
